RVP is apparently going to have a knee operation (according to the Mirror anyway), Hernandez looks like he's going to Madrid and Welbeck might leave as well.

That's even stupider!!!! Instead of reinforcing their defense, they sell all their strikers and get a new one.

United might get Vidal and falcao. Final transfer day is gonna be crazy

Apparently the reason they haven't bought Vidal (yet) is because they're worried about how he will fare after his knee injury. But Falcao, soon to be 29, would be coming off an ACL injury into a new league and he would command a higher transfer fee and massive wages. I see why they might buy a striker but Falcao seems a strange buy.

Why not just buy a no nonsense CB. Just out of the top of my head, bid for someone like shawcross. Even if they overpay by 5mil for him, they will still be paying just 20mil TOPS.

Precisely. There are plenty of options available in PL. I mean just buy an experiemced CB. Evans was struggling mightily controlling and maintaining an organized back 5 plus he has his own problem. Jones and smalling are still pretty young. Blacket and keanee, I don't even expect much. Rojo will struggle to find his feet in pl like 90% of the signing.

That's true. There are plenty of options, like when we bought Cahill. Vlaar is Dutch, surprised they aren't even linked to him.
