Smart. If I'm professional football player this is what I would do in veteran years. Playing in new places I would like to experience living. Brazil, USA, Australia, Thailand, Japan. One season everywhere.

It might sound like a good life for someone who doesn't have a family. If they do, constant upheaval isn't ideal, or just being away from loved ones for an extended period.

She always came across as a beard to me. He doesnt have her anywhere near any of his social media. As someone who grew up in a pretty gay city before it became legalized and folks were comfortable being out you'd see a lot of guys(And gals) who would have a partner like that. Not really around, but could be brought out when the opportunity was needed. Very cool bachelor, which Mata oozes.

One of the coolest guys I've ever seen, and my favorite Spanish player by far. Debonair, stylish, and smooth.

I might be one of the few who doesn’t rate Mata as highly as everyone else on here seems to.

Fun to watch, but the time he shone was when we were in our worst patch. I think he was a big fish in small pond type.

You'd have been killed on here if you said that during the era in which we joined this forum😂

I remember being called a Jose fanboy, and out of my name, when I quite rightly like anybody else with eyes figured out that Mazacar wasnt ever going to work in the premier league🤪

Mata was someone who took the league serious in a team which were going all in on the cups and probably didnt have it in them to really compete in the league anymore.

Worst patch? Excuse me? One CL, one FA-cup and one EL title in two seasons he finished with us.

He may not be a very important and outstanding player looking back at his whole carreer, but for ~1.5 years he played at his absolute best for us, way better than he ever played for Valencia before or United after. We had him in his prime and we found a system which he enjoyed very much alongside Oscar and Hazard.

19 goals and 35 assists in one season.

Meanwhile you are putting propaganda here with Jackson numbers who overall didn't gave us much. Last season costed us 2 trophies and top4 with big chances missed.

This season already 3 points. Had great opportunity against City on 0:1 in second half and against Palace on 1:1. This 3 points could be essential in CL fight just like last season we were short 3 points. But this is only after 3 rounds. I'm sure just like last season he will cost us double digits points.

Our CL title was a miracle run. In general our play was down during the period he had his best time here.

Like I said. Fun to watch but I don’t think he was the impact player some others were. There is a reason his time was short here when we needed consistency and impact over the course of winning a season again.

What propaganda? Jackson is far younger, far more physically capable and only a season and a bit into his pro career.

You blame Jackson for Palace at 1-1 when he was the one creating those chances for himself, and missed a tough shot on the side that was created from nothing. Not sure what your Jackson hate is about, but 2 goals in 3 games for our young striker.

Yea, but from the pictures of them together down to his style and mannerisms. I'd bet my house on it being so. Its giving Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie😂

He has more pictures with Julia Roberts than with her on his social media:

I think you are reading too much into the situation

and all based off his social media, which is a precarious thing to base any conjecture off of
