We looked a better team without him.

Think either way we looked a better team regardless compared to the last 3 or 4 games.

Be interesting to see how we do without him, all good saying he’s injured now TT has to use Havertz as a false 9 but we need to see consistency from Kai.

Did like the front 3 of Mount, Kai and CHO tbf because we had someone who is good in 1 on 1s.

CHO/Havertz have some good chemistry.

Krasnodar, WBA, City, Palace and today. 5 goals they assisted each other. Dont have exact stats but considering limited game time CHO has I imagine they spent very little time together on the pitch.

Do you guys think that being completely unable to run, much less play football, will force Tuchel's hand to not start Lukaku?

Have to wait and see.

I wish it happened under better circumstances but I really enjoyed seeing Kai as false 9 again. We simply don't have that fluidity playing with a vocal point.

It's going to be really really infuriating if we build some momentum with this system in the next few weeks (easier opponents or not) only for Rom to be thrown straight back in.

Watch us look like a proper team again now.

However we will struggle to break down stubborn defences without him again. Defenders will feel a lot more comofrtable facing CHO or Kai instead of big Rom.

yup, which is why we all agreed that a replacement for Giroud was needed - and one who could contribute more often/better - but also someone who could sit on the bench when the game was more for Kai as a false 9. I was honestly expecting someone younger, in the same mould of Werner age/experience wise. Tammy just couldn't deliver that, so we needed someone a bit more ready.

Lukaku's price tag (and whatever surprises we may find in his contract) alone kinda prevents that from happening.

I made the mistake of searching how long Lukaku will be out. I do not know how the Sun and Express stay in business.

2-3 weeks according to Simon Law, but not entirely sure because the ankle is still swollen. They will have to do another scan.

Every signing turns into a board signing when they have a few bad games.

After Ancelotti and the Torres transfer, I've come to the conclusion that there's really no such thing as 'board signing' or a 'manager signing".

They're both in on it.

I did read a quote from his agent that said Rom always returns faster than predicted because of his strength and he has a physio at his home that works with him every night.
