Romelu Lukaku

I have to say; I hate it when Lukaku is compared to Drogba. when Drogba was in France he had a good first touch/technique, I don't think he "developed it" whilst he was with us. with Lukaku, the lad just isn't good enough technically. he needs to improve his first touch and link up play. he also needs to use his body to its potential, the lad has great potential but I just don't think he's good enough, yet. loaning him was definitely the right move.

I always said I like strikers like Suarez/Rooney/Aguero who can create goals for themselves because they're skillful.those are the type of forwards we need to go for in the summer. enough with number 9's, because all of them flopped here. Lukaku is the type of forward who needs service.

At Lukaku's age, Drogba was barely playing pro football.

But they're different types alright. Only their strength is comparable.

Ligament damage, no word how long he'll be out for yet.

They can't possibly know this soon if there really is any ligament damage. Don't you need an MRI scan for that?

Anyway, if there really is some ligament damage, then it'll be 2-3 weeks at the very least.

Commentators said medic on the touchline think it's ligament damage.

It looked pretty bad, and he couldn't put any pressure on that leg.

They're probably guessing. Very worrying that he couldn't put any pressure on it. Hope it's just sprained instead of some serious ligament damage. We'll probably find out for sure tomorrow after the scan.
