I couldn't believe he had the nerve to put his hands up after failing to connect with a perfect cross. There's one thing when Ronaldo does it but him?! He needs a real wake up call. Cyber ones are hypercritical, at the games you just have to get behind the boys -though once they turn its vitriolic eg Bakajokeo Think there is some truth in this but I kind of straddle both. I have had a ST over nearly 25 years' now (and do away games) and always support the boys' in the ground, but use the forum as a means to debate. I find however from doing this, that it is quite easy to determine who actually goes to games and who doesn't. For instance, with players like Mount, Alonso, Kai and Werner, I give a lot of leeway too as I am able to see what they do off the ball a lot more than those watching on the TV. Werner in particular is a good example of this. Online people seem to focus a lot more on his finishing and touch (which are issues) however those that go seem to appreciate his off ball movement and assisting ability. The others' are similar in different ways. I do however, on here, become hypercritical of players who don't have a work rate/have glaring weaknesses (if here; Kepa for example ended in this category as I hadn't seen him prior to signing) and/or are clearly not going to fit our system before signing, if I have seen enough of them before they sign (Lukaku/Baka/Cuadrado - players I all called busts well in advance of signing; although the latter two were principally on CFCNET which is where I used to post before finding this forum.) This said, in the online world it is a lot easier to be critical as you can actually outline your issues in detail, whereas in the ground you can only really provide snippets to those around you as I am too engaged/busy singing/supporting. quickpassnmove 924
Lukaku was never a big match or high pressure situation winner IMO. B/C he returned last summer, I could only hope, but the history is already there in the Prem. The rest of the attackers we currently have: I would be willing to sell all of them just to make sure we keep Borja and Ziyech for our future squad. We need better attackers. MoroccanBlue 5,392
5 games on the trot he’s played a full 90. Now 120 minutes today and still nothing. Say what you want about Havertz and Werner, but neither of them had this run of games with nothing to show for it. Pathetic from Tuchel. I think Werner had way worse runs but Lukaku is just terrible i am afraid tt is forced to play Lukaku due to the price tag and maybe internal pressure tho it’s not that Lukaku didn’t try today or didn’t get balls he just is not any better than what we saw today . With more luck he could have scored but that is all he is about. Getting lucky against shit teams to squeeze in a few shots every once in a while. basically like that fraud who said he was abedi pele’s cousin. Even he scored a few goals in pro football despite not even having had a football education by a licensed club. A fraud defender will get skinned 10 times per game but a fraud striker can get away with it for a full career
Fulham Broadway 17,483
Was at SB today - jeez would have preferred their Jarrick or Mayor over Werner/Lukaku - at least they were hungry CFC a wealthy retirement home for strikers to get a massive pension without really trying

And am gonna be a lame arse/a half glass full fella, at least one of them contributed to creating the winning goal. The other played did zilch and had only 31 touches in 120 minutes. Lukaku could easily had 2 assists after solid link-up play. Kovacic hit the post and Mount shot was saved.

Pizy 19,014
The most frustrating thing watching him currently is his total lack of anticipation. Ziyech will curl in a beautiful cross or someone will play in a nice through ball and he’s always a second late to react. The one thing he has been doing consistently well even in this shit run of form is hold the ball up and lay it off to a teammate. But after he does that he just kind of casually jogs around. If by some miracle we can offload him this summer we need to find a proper footballer of a striker. Someone who is highly involved in the play and who can create for themself. A Luis Suarez or Harry Kane type. Coincidentally, a Lukaku for Kane swap would suit both clubs well but Levy would never allow it.

Yeah I was being a bit harsh. No booing, just frustrating, the lack of desire. Or maybe its just sloppiness.
