With Pogba & Lukaku touted for deals well above £50m, he's certainly going to be a very happy man come end of this transfer window.

I think he has his best years ahead of him and if we get the flanks right he could be the Chelsea superstar like in his childhood dreams I don't give a toss about what CFC cough up for players bar passing comments. They take in masses so I'd expect them to splash out. We pay OTT for shirts, tickets etc so what a club uses for players is just an extension of the OTT prices for football. I also get a big feeling that Lukaku actually wants to play for Chelsea far more than Costa does. That kinda sums it all up. Stats 7,147
He does have limitations but I guarantee if he is to join us he still will be getting over 20 goals. His goal return is fantastic. milka 3,393
Chelsea have now offered €80million (£67million) for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. #CFC
Blue Colored Sky 1,807
That's Raiola at work for you. Still I hope Everton will hold onto that 75m valuation and Chelsea won't pay up. We have Michy who looks like a potential baller. We really don't need another striker ASAP as we have 3 strikers plus Hazard and only 40 games scheduled for the season. !Hazard! 3,394
Real buys back Morata, ManU buys back Pogba....now we buy back Lukaku and Atletico buys back Costa? Hopefully next Oscar is going back to Brazil. I really hate this deal though. Makes Juve's transfer for Higuain look much better for sure. killer1257
LAM09 7,056
The club won't cough up for Koulibaly, but they're are willing to pay through the nose for a downgrade on what we already have. [emoji25]

LAM09 7,056
I dont think we are the problem in the case of koulibaly... Laurentiis is a pain, but I'm sure this deal would have been done if we offered what they are after. I expect the board are trying to bargain with them thus no development. Lukaku has much more to his game than Gomez. Faster, better dribbler, can play on the channels, is getting better in the air. very strong. Yes, his touch his annoying and he can be frustrating but his positives certainly outweigh his negatives. When Conte coached Juventus he lamented the fact that the leadership was never willing to spend on players(the roof was 20 million euro for each player) and he used the metaphor of luxury restaurant.Example Conte wanted Higuain from Real but the leadership did not want to spend 40 million.Three years later we spent 90 milion for Higuain in a desperate attempt to win the CL in the next two years(before that the best defense in the world is too old). petre.ispirescu and The Chels
