Not really, they have tied down most of their highly rated youth talents like Thiago Alacantra(90m release clause signed this summer), Dongou. While the players they are letting go of are the ones who showed early high promise but jaded a bit last season, like Bojan, Etock, Jeffren and Romeu.

Apparently Barca offered him a new contract last season but he rejected.

Strange, isn't it? Suppose he plays very well and Barca hand in 8 million, then we are contractually bound to accept the bid. It still remains upto the player whether to accept Barca's contract though.

This better not happen. I don't want to sign a player to have for 2 years unless he's shit in which case we get to keep him for as long as we want. How fucking desperate are we as a club if we are striking deals like that?
