chrismada9 1,948
Wait.....that has to be the most retarded proposal to sign a player we've ever thought of! We've never loaned a player during the summer transfer period while Abramovich has been our owner.A 30-year-old on loan to replace Essien. We can't be that desperate to sign players!! We Hate Scouse 10,330
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan tells Sky Sports News the club would consider loaning England international Scott Parker out for the season. He said the Hammers have not received any official approaches for the player.

xPetrCechx 13,578
West Ham owner will consider loan deal with Chelsea for Scott ParkerSullivan said: "He'd like to play in the Premier League but he accepts that if we can't get the right fee, he'll be playing in the Championship next season."A loan deal would appeal to us because we're not desperate to sell him. He's at the absolute peak of his game at the moment. lionsden 4,689
We should be seeking permanent long term replacement for both Essien and Lampard rather than temporary fixes. with Essien, we already have his replacement in ramires. therefore the Parker loan deal is a silly idea. Peace. 4,352
A loan deal? That wouldn't be so bad I guess. That would be bad actually, in my view. Considering the situation in which our squad is, we can't afford to sign temporary replacement. Because in six or twelve month, we will be in the same situation than right now, ie we will have to look for a new player to rebuilt an ageing squad. Gianfranco_Z 202
Loan deal would be PERFECT IMO. He's perfect to replace Essien this year... Cheap fix too and West Ham don't loose him permanently. Everyone's a winner.

Blue Armour 4,459
Everyone's a winner.Maybe in the short term...but consider this:If Parker does come he's not going to sit around in the bench...If we wanted someone to play from the bench we would rather choose a younger option like McEachran (after all its in situations like this that youngsters get opportunities) If he plays a regular role (that is if he plays well enough for that), he will definitely become part of AVB's NEW system...After his loan period expires, we will have the additional trouble of adding someone to take his place during the most inappropriate part of the season
