Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

If this is true these players should stop talkin about how much they care about CFC and we should get rid of them. They are as much as responsible for our situation as our Manager (at least) And to blame a single player is very ridiculous..

just which senior players are the ones blaming the manager. Obviously Lampard springs to mind but who else Malouda? Cole ? Cech? Terry?

The players should watch their own displays over the last few months...Let those without sin cast the first stone.

I think that the main characters are Lampard, Drogba, Malouda, Cole and Kalou. Terry should be on the managers side because of his backing in the race row.

Players should all be fined a week's wages for challenging the authority of the manager and also undermining him. Unacceptable. I bet you any amount of money it was the 'senior' egos, the same ones that cost Scolari and Ancelotti their jobs, ie. Cech, Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Cole.

The players should get blasted by the media. What a disgraceful lot. Instead they keep running stories on how AVB is "on borrowed time" blah blah. If they're really so 'in the know', then they should name names.

Lampard was named,wasn't he?

I don't know why but I see Lampard as being a key man in this whole thing. You guys remember his body language after he was subbed a couple of times this season? At first we just shrugged it off as him being unhappy with his own performances, but after seeing how he acted against Everton, it's possible that things have escalated and it just strikes me that he's the most unhappy in our squad atm.

And I'm just making a general comment, I'm not "turning on" Lamps. Maybe the Everton game was a one-off. I'm very interested to see how he performs now.

Oh yeah, you're right. But it's just one line: "Villas-Boas has also clashed with Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba" not very conclusive

Chelsea players confront André Villas-Boas in training-ground row

Perhaps the most important thing in the artcle is the winding up of the court case with Berezovsky.

When Mrs Justice Gloster reaches her judgement in the next week or two as to whether Abramovich has to pay £3.2bn, this will have implications on all aspects of transfers, and whether to terminate the contract of manager No 6

On the flip side of the coin, the clash could have been over that the players have been doing exactly as the Manager has been telling them - And we've all seen the results of that.

The beauty of having the experience that AVB has at his disposal is that it's there to be drawn upon and used - To disregard this experience would be foolhardy, especially when choice of player options is limited. No one knows why or what happened other than those there, but put yourself in the players position and suppose the Manager was leading off in front of his Boss, would you sit there meekly and not respond, in you own work scenario what would you do? I'd make sure my point of view was heard, especially if it's your position and livelihood that's being challenged and once one person starts/breaks the ice others tend to join in.

Is AVB trying to hard to do things 'his' way and ignoring help, a symptom of his own relative inexperience and insecurity?
