It wasn't good enough last season either. Now the players are a year older. This was supposed to be Torres' season, except we all know how that has worked out. It's easy tp blame the manager but we were awful last season, we are even worse this season, the deadweight in the squad is the problem, there are far too many players in the squad who simply aren't up to the standard required.

this squad was too old 2 years ago. they were old last year. did anyone expect mata and Raul M. to fix all this?

You could make all the toys in china with the amount of plastic you're made up of ......

Best you stop supporting Chelsea now with that attitude.

Hear me out. I starting supporting Chelsea since last year. I've always loved football but have never really supported any team throughout my young life. I know a lot about post 08 Chelsea but that's about it. I'm not going to say that I know a lot about Chelsea before 2008, because I didn't follow them or have any interest in them, or any other team for that matter. You can call me plastic all you want but I'm not a plastic. I didn't follow Chelsea because they were always winning (They weren't winning anything when I started supporting them), I followed them because I thought they were a stable and interesting club. I've always read about player power at Chelsea but never believed it. I'm starting to now. I want to follow a club where the manager isn't sacked every season (a la Ancelotti) and a club that isn't a circus at times. If AVB is sacked, then Chelsea is indeed a circus and I'll stop supporting them and get on with my life.

APART FROM ROMAN AND MAYBE MATA(lol). AVB IS MY MOST IMPORTANT CHELSEA. Not only cause i believe in him, but cause Manager>Player in alomost every good team. even look at barca, apart from messi, if pep had beef with any other barca player, Pep would stay over the player. CITY, ARSENAL, United are all the same way.

Ive stated many times that i want avb to stay, and I stand by that. However I'm not felin that anger that I usually get after a lost or bad run of games. Just empty and like in a standstill. The weeks are becomin longer and longer with each article on the future of avb. In all honesty I feel soooo bad for the guy. yea he's made mistakes but who in the hell could have predicted this.

if he gets fired I hope he wins big time and wins 2 champions leagues and come back to epl and wins some trophies. What a dispicable way to treat your boss. And yeah he's made mistakes, and big ones too, but GREAT teams fight through that. GREAT teams use individual brilliance to change a game that has not been goin in their direction. We're drasticly slipping away from that .

IN AVB I TRUST!

I seriously hope Guardiola isn't appointed in the summer, as AVB would go somewhere else, like Inter (as the Porto president said) and probably be successful. As good as Guardiola's tactics are I don't think our current squad is capable of playing "total football" ... we still lack creativity for when clubs go all defensive against us, we cannot just rely on Mata. If Guardiola was appointed, would the senior players even listen to him? Everyone at Barca seem to just want to listen by the looks of their performances, maybe not this season but last season they where terrific bar the diving. I also seen a report saying AVB is only being backed by David Luiz, Ramires and Bosingwa... this just shows how big some of the current egos in the dressing room are. So if appointed what chance has Guardiola got to turn things around?

If AVB is giving time, to reshape the squad to his liking, which I am sure he probably wished he done a bit earlier knowing what would of happened, he will be successful. The club needs players that want to prove themselves on a bigger stage and actually want to play for Chelsea, unlike half the idiots who put in half heart'd performances knowing they have basically achieved all they can. I think we have been lucky and unlucky, that only this year, we've seen that the squad is not capable of playing as they were a few years ago and hopefully we can get more younger, talented players in the team and personally I think AVB is more than capable of that. His Porto team from last year for example, yes he didn't sign them all but players like Moutinho, Hulk, Varela, Perreria and Falcao gained huge recognition from their successful campaign last season and they have/will move on to better things soon enough. We as a club, just need to stick with him and I'm more than sure Roman will give him this season and next at least to show why he is the right man for the job.

Also the players efforts have been pathetic of late so it should be them who suffer instead of the manager, all he can do is give them tactics, hoping they put a good team performance in.

No offence mate but your reasoning in your own words behind why your a fan, your not a supporter, and not a plastic makes you sound even more like a johnny come lately, I personally could never understand supporting a team that are in another country from myself, have no attachment to on a local/family level I know that might sound elitist but how can someone from china/australia/malaysia/dubai etc have the same kind of support/emotional ties in a club compared to somebody who grew up in what would be considered the clubs catchment area? Im not saying all foreign fans are not as important as local ones but people like swedish house mafia hardly give them a good name.

No matter how bad the football is, no matter how poorly the club is run, no matter what league we play in I will always and only support chelsea fc, I dont know any different that was the way I was brought up thats the way Im bringing my son up, your football team is something ingrained on you from an early age in england and once it is, its there for life, kinda like a marriage without the divorce option.

I was not a supporter of any team until 1998 when Chelsea beat Stuttgart, i fell in love with they're attitude on the pitch.

5 years after that I was in London and visited all stadiums, inclueding the Highburry, I was just amazed of SB, it was on an CL Matchday when I came over there , of course i didn't get any tickets but the voice of the fans was buzzing and electrifying... I was sitting in an McDonald's near by SB (is it still there? couldn't find it on my 3 last visits) and we where just hearing the crowd singing and chanting...

and since then I new what my team was to support....

so mate... not everybody is plastic ;)
