nullabletype 987
Well it looks like Mourinho is coming back to Chelsea.I am not a big fan of the man, but if sacking AVB to get Mourinho for a decade I am down!I am tired of all this managerial merry go around, so Roman must have done some major confession of his sin to ask Mourinho to come back. With Mourinho back, Roman will not object to give him all the power to do whatever he wants. So with Mourinho back in the team, all I can say is that I pray that Mourinho uses more youth, and spend wisely cause we can't do what he did when he first came to Chelsea. A blank check is no longer available under the new financial rules.I love when people say things like this. You're tired of the "managerial merry go round" so your answer is... sack the current manager? What?

Henrique 9,133
He'd be a risk just like AVB was. Managing this Barca squad and any other squad in the world are two very different things.No. Managing this Barca squad is a huge task, I already said it, Barcelona had two avarage seasons with this same squad before Guardiola took over.AVB is a massive gamble because we dont even know if he is a manager, he only had one good season in Portugal and won Europa League. We had many managers that won russian and ukranian league and also Europa League and nobody says they are great managers.I agree that we have some a players power problem, but AVB is another problem, because he is a massive gamble, and there is nothing in this season to suggest he is great manager, I dont think giving him another season will be a wise thing to do. francozola 2,040
summary?Errrr... Let's see...He was asked about the portuguese interview many times:- About expressing his doubt that he would last he season, he said that it was just a general comment, that the same kind of doubt lingers over every job. He said that it's related to results, which I am now worried means that if we go out of the CL and FA Cup would lead to him getting sacked- Regarding Hulk. He simply meant that that was the kind of player profile they were looking at. He specifically said that we would look to sign a left and right winger in the summer (thank goodness)- he criticized the media for taking his words out of context. He made reference to his comments about Torres. The media claimed he was comparing Torres to flops like Sheva and Kezman but what he was actually referring to was the high level of demand that strikers face at this club. One journo asked if he was confident that Torres would not end up a flop like those 2. His reply: "I will do everything in my power to help him"Apart from that... JT is recovering well. Danny should be fit for tomorrow. I think he also said that DD will be fit but I'm not sure if I heard him correctly.

francozola 2,040
Oh and about lampard.. He said that he had no problems with lamps.. He has a duty to pick the best team for games and sometimes it doesn't include frank. Asked whether the fans chanting Lampards name during the Bolton game made him uncomfortable.. He laughed it off. He said its normal since frank is a Chels legend and he also achieved two records during that game so it doesn't mean anything. On his end, he doesn't have any personal problems with lamps. Journos asked whether they had things to work out (i think that's what they said)His reply: "we aren't married to each other" which brought laughs
Justin_3d 1,140
Well if AVB now realizes the problem the team has, what's the point in sacking him?Cause Carlo was one coach that did not wanted to change the squad and keep all the old players. And Carlo has more experience then AVB.But this is what happens when you hire a relative young inexperience guy.So I hope he keeps his job, because his comment for the summer are very uplifting! :blue scalf:
