According to Barcelona, Chelsea's inquiry was immediately rebuffed, with the Stamford Bridge outfit informed that Villa's buy-out clause stands at a ridiculous £178m and that there was no point in any further negotiation.

Im going to go against the grain here and say i WOULD take Villa here. I know he is close to 30 or even in his 30's but the fella is a great player and in the world cup he showed what class he has. When he comes in from the left of the front three and whips a shot in he is really deadly, plus his range of passing and movement off the ball is excellent. Wouldnt pay ridiculous money for him but would certainly consider a 20 mill offer
