The absolute scenes if there's no announcement and we instead present Caicedo and Lavia on pitch just before kick off

Blue Colored Sky reacted to Milan in Chelsea Transfers
Can this bloody Caicedo help his cause and hand in a freaking transfer request? I mean, he was given a promise he would be sold in the summer. Now, after rejecting 80m, they claim they expect him to stay. Just do it ffs.

If he doesn’t want to stay or goes about things in a way as you’ve stated, we should sell though. No point keeping folk who aren’t interested in being here, regardless of what they will become. I mean thats been the message from the club this summer looking at how we’ve went around our business in terms of offloading players who aren’t interested in being here.
The initial signs from his side, although may be misconstrued, don’t look promising at all. I mean if he really wants to play for Brighton ahead of us that is worrying - more so than anything else. Hopefully the way these rumours and signs etc look changes over the next week or 2 as he has a huge chance of being a nailed on regular from day 1 (even more so with BB injured). Although he still has to earn his slot in the same way like James did, like Mase did, like Fikayo did, like Tammy did etc competing with players in certain positions/coming out of the team for others as and when also if form dictates it. Can’t just expect it to be given which if this is something he is expecting, he needs to check himself a bit.
The ethos and approach of the club and Poch has to be building around players who actually want to be here though and guys who are fully committed - particularly after the moans and groans of players downing tools last year.

Blue Colored Sky got a reaction from Stats in 🏴 Mason Mount
Josh McEachran was loaned to Swansea City which at the time was the best ball-playing footballl team in England. On top of that he was reunited with Brendan Rodgers who was previously his coach in Chelsea Academy. So on paper everything was lined-up great.
I remember Juan Mata said that he is one of the most technical and skillful players at Chelsea.
I think Josh McEachran later hooked up with TV star while his career was dwindling down. I just don't think he had the mentality to play at the high level. Plus he was build like a boy. Maybe if he was sold to Spain or Germany his career would take different trajectory.

This whole thread is worth a read before judging the Mason Mount situation, explains how he has paid for PR to try to control the narrative and his link to Matt Law who is on the pay roll to write good press for him

I scroll through Twitter and I must say I become numb to all sentiment that is shared over this transfer. He's a professional player, it's part of the job to be treated as asset and be potentially cashed on and replaced. Some people know how it goes yet they still cling onto "he's been here since he was 6" like he's doing this purely for his love for Chelsea. He's earned millions of pounds and is going to earn much more in the future. He's maximizing his contract potential by going to United and who can blame him. Once they leave the Academy and become professional players the sentiment is over.

Cold and ballsy from Paul. All those vids of mount overhitting passes take focus off how many counter attacks he squandered by not passing at all or playing it safe. Thank fuck he at least did it right that one time…
first time in ages English tax works noticeably in our favour.

Now we’ll hear from all the English pundits the whole season about how stupid we were for selling Mount despite him being utterly dreadful all last season and refusing numerous contract offers. Of course not providing any alternative other than keeping him against his will, having him not sign a new contract, and then walk for free. Then they’d slaughter us even more for being dumb enough to let him go for nothing,

Given the players that have departed, I would be surprised now if Gallagher left as we already look light in midfield and whilst still young, he at least as some reasonable experience now. I'm not his biggest fan personally as I have my doubts over his technical ability but I could also see Poch appreciating his work rate and intensity in a high octane, pressing team.
I think the club would have preferred to keep Kante, albeit on their terms, and that does then make me wonder if we'll identify a more experienced player to be added as a replacement. I see there has been tentative talk of Kessie and I could possibly see someone of that ilk being added for the right price.
Ultimately though, assuming we can strike a deal for Caicedo, this is going to be an extremely young group of midfielders, and will be a complete turn from it being probably our most experienced area of the pitch in recent times. I can possibly see Santos staying if he impresses in pre season, and I can also see the possibility of Lewis Hall being ear marked as a squad player for that midfield too.
For now, Caicedo seems to be the number one choice for the club, and does seem to be an ideal fit to partner Enzo. It's imperative we get this deal done and can then review things during pre season. A long, drawn out saga must be avoided, we want as much of the squad together for as long as possible during pre season.

i agree mate, that laughing, hugging and talking after a crunch match, especially after we lose is so cringe, it just shows how little the players care about the importance of the game and what it means for generations of fans. gone are the days you would see players battling out and playing hard in derbies or big games. Can you imagine back in the day, Keane, Neville, Vieira, Henry, Gerrard, Carragher, Terry, Lamps, Drogba, etc… after a decisive crunch game laughing and hugging opposing players. Game has gone soft

Blue Colored Sky reacted to Superblue in The Next Manager?
I do think if we get this summer right (and in that I mean the managerial appointment, shipping out the squad surplus and adding a couple of key additions), top 4 is right there for the taking to jump straight back into it next year and this weekend has only strengthened my feelings on this.
I think Arsenal and Newcastle will both find it much harder with Champions League football (assuming Newcastle get it) and the increased schedule. I know Arsenal were in the Europa this season but they won't be able to rotate and treat the Champions League in the same way. United are the best of a bad bunch this season in my opinion going for top 4. Liverpool could well improve, really depends on their recruitment this summer as some key players are starting to get older. Spurs are Spurs and could be in dire straits if Kane leaves.

All international break to prepare for the mighty Aston Villa and we look like this. With hundreds of millions of pounds worth of talent at his fingertips.
We are BY FAR the biggest underachievers in Europe. You give any top coach this squad and they’d be over the moon. They’d kill for this squad. But we decided to appoint an amateur to drive a F1 car.
Bite the bullet, pay the massive fee to sack him, and admit you fucked up. This cannot continue.

His comments are fucking beyond madness, he's talking as if we had lost 1 game and he keeps saying the same things.
I cannot believe he's still here

Someone should inform the owners that the club won't have higher draft pick if we finish lower in the table ...
On a serious note, he's the most deserving of sack since I've been a fan (2004). There are clearly talented players in the squad, they just constantly look like a national team who have few training sessions together. Ok, when we play on the counter then we look quite decent but when it comes to breaking down teams I've never actually seen Chelsea being this bad at doing so. Complete lack of ideas other than endless crosses. And he's got more time to coach these players during the season than any other manager recently - 4 goals scored this year in 10 games ! Shocking. What a waste of time.
