I was surprised when Alex left the club, he was a top defender who knew how to strike a free-kick!...the only thing he lost was a bit of pace & he was made the scapegoat of AvB's high-line problems at Chelsea.

Dzeko isn't a better player...but in terms of goalscoring ability & age, he'd be a good pickup for Chelsea IF City were willing to sell him.

Pato has always had injury issues, its part of the reason why United & Arsenal decided not to sign him, back in 2007 when he was the next big thing in Brazil.

That's only one person on this forum who for some reason loves David Villa, even with Chelsea's policy for over-30's. Bringing in David Villa is an okay short-term option IF he agrees to take low wages. I'd prefer Chelsea to sign a 24-27 year old forward, someone who will hit their peak sooner rather than later and start firing Chelsea to even more success.

I don't get all the fuss about Terry. I mean, has TERRY actually confronted the media and told them he's planning on leaving Chelsea? JT is Captain, Leader, Legend. I don't care about the whole Anton Ferdinand thing, both him and Rio just want to destroy Terry's image even further. I think the Barca kit you posted is a Senyera away kit, they wanna show their connections to Catalunya. Similar to Valencia's away kit last season..

Kalou did fine in terms of a squad rotation role. I would of thought 50 million + massive wages is enough evidence to suggest that Torres is one of the worst transfers we've ever made.
