Yeh, he's a good midfielder, would happily take him at Chelsea if Betis were willing to sell for a reasonable price...but he is their best player...so he won't come on the cheap.

I reckon Pep might be a long term replacement for Fergie or Wenger..if he decides to coach in England at some point in the future. I wouldn't mind him at Chelsea..but RDM is doing alright for the time being.

I think Neymar is off to Barcelona cause on the Revista La Liga - Week 9 show, at the very end, Guillem Balague says Barcelona have already given Santos a €10m payment for the eventual €40m signing of Neymar. Balague also said that this deal basically gives Barcelona until 2014 to go and sign Neymar. I know he could be wrong about this...but Barcelona have even set aside €40m in their publicly visible financial documents for an 'intangible, unmovable asset'...and by the looks of things, that asset could be Neymar.

Hopefully he's back in England next season.

That's an interesting call on Luiz. He has the attributes to be a pretty good B2B midfielder, not sure he'd ever be world-class though. The big (hypothetical) question would be, if Luiz ever became a B2B midfielder, who would play alongside him in Chelsea's midfield?

At the end of the day, Luiz is the most talented defender at Chelsea. I think all Luiz needs is a bit of discipline. Everyone knows how much talent he has but he needs to learn how to express himself for the benefit of the team. eg. if Luiz wants to make a run forward, that's great...but he should only make that run IF he's sure that the defensive players are ready to cover for him.

City have been playing poorly this season. They got well beaten by Ajax, West Brom would have beaten them if their finishing was better. Swansea aren't a bad team but we should have enough quality to beat them.

Depends on the striker. If it's someone like Jovetic/Cavani..then you'd have to pay at least 30 million. Personally, I think our biggest problem is defence at the moment. We are leaking soft goals. Terry is ageing/hasn't been the same since the whole Anton saga...Luiz is sometimes good, sometimes a headless chicken..Cahill is an alright defender, a bit vulnerable against speedy strikers but he does his best...for me, the problem lies at CB.

I'd say Hummels would be around 35-40 million. and Gotze probably around 25-30 million.

I thought Luiz was one of our better defenders in the opening games of this season. To be fair, our entire defence has been shocking since the Spurs game. Maybe try Ivan in the centre with Cahill, & Azpi at RB?

Would be a great addition for any top European club's defence...but I don't see Dortmund selling him anytime soon. Hopefully we give Kalas a chance at CB next season.

Completely agree, I think Sturridge will flourish, playing behind a true CF. The kid knows how to score, has quite a few tricks up his sleeve...but unfortunately, I see him leaving Chelsea in search of more first team football.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ivanovic as a striker, he's got the physique, knows how to score the odd goal. That way, Azpi can play more often at RB
