Yeah, fortunately we did not wear it very often. My most hated kit was the mustard-yellow third kit of the 08/09 season. Lampard scored the winner in the Fa cup final vs everton in it but the kit was horrible.

no wonder. The coach is the same. But Brazil of 2002 was vintage. I hope Germany gets drawn into the Brazil group (if that is possible, I think not) just to show in the group stages who the boss is.
-
Sry, but I am pretty sure he won't travel to Singapur. It would leave him with less than 2 weeks holiday.

Most footballers are thin and look fragile nowadays which makes it really funny when they stand up and play men by fighting each other... anyway there is enough medical care for them and they get millions to stay fit. I know amateur players who have endured greater strain for no money and without medical help.

This Times have changed. In 2004 we could buy anyone with talent for insane amounts of money. We still can do that. But in 2004 we had no titles and no squad. Now we have. Mourinho's arrival means we will at least win COC, Fa Cup or shit like this, so it would not be that big drama to miss out on the league, given we did not invest that much and given we at least were able to compete. 63m is an insane amount of money for one player. No one should blame our board for backing out at these amounts. The market is inflated enough already and provided that we have already have some experiences with strikers in these priceclasses, there would at least be a learning process displayed which would make the decision retraceable. Ba, Torres, Lukaku + Schürrle being able to play as a striker are surely enough in numbers. Even though Gomez/Dzeko might be a bit more clinical than those, I see no sense in spending more than 20m on a slight upgrade. The league is won against smaller teams and against exactly these Ba, Torres, Lukaku will probably be enough. Dzeko or Gomez would mean 3-5 points more for us from these. I bet those will not make us Champions hence they are not worth 20m. Last season we played with literally no strikers cos most of the time Torres/Studge/Ba all were off form. This is unlikely to happen again. Also we have never been a club that relied too much on strikers in the league since Abramovich came. Except the 06/07 and the 09/10 season we did not even have a striker with more than 16 goals. Lampard will ship in again with double figueres and will win some matches on his own. As will Mata and Hazard. Ramires and Oscar will also score a few and our centre backs are also unusually dangerous. ACtually one has to recognize the benefits of the much dreaded Lampard-Ramires pivot. They might be a bit ineffective defensively, but it's not that we concede too often and rarely it's their fault. On the other hand they scored almost 30 goals combined, many of them were really important. Makes them the highest-scoring defensive midfield pairing in the world^^ If we do not get Cavani, Lewandowski or so equivalent. Give it a go with luakaku and if it does not work, we can still rectify in winter.

A young body can take much strain. Hope he gets an extended holiday. We do not need him in Asia anyway. Surely Schürrle will take a bit weight off Mazacar, but still our preseason will be strenious enough.
-
I do not think ManU's interest is any kind of danger...Roman practically owns Vitesse. If we want him, we will get him.
-
k, I'd take neither.
-
Really? No so sure. Verrati is as weakass as it gets. He is no DM, rather a DLP. I do not really rate him... Does not change the point anyway, PSG are not a seller club...
-
I wanted us to sign him instead of Oscar, too...now its too late.
-
lol good old Michael Bradley. I doubt he is better than de Rossi. he is a rather mediocre player, saw him multiple times when he used to play for BM'gladbach in bundesliga. Wanyama is a beast, but he has only played in Scotland. Thiago Motta I don't know, but i am pretty sure PSG is no seller club. I have not seen de Rossi play for Roma much, but I have seen him play for Italy and every time I see him, he puts in amazing effort, great tackles and precise passes. he played an amzing Euro 2012 both in central defense and defensive midfield. He might not have been the best player under that funny Roma coach with his crazy tactics but I can't believe he has been off form completely in the last 1.5 years. If so he maybe only needs a new challenge. He is 29, hardly old for a DM. Xabi Alonso reached his peak after he was 30, as did Makelele. Ballack played his best season for us when he was 32. I am pretty sure there is still much left in him He had no major injury in his entire career, but lots of different minor injuries in this season. Surely this put him off shape, but our medical department has done a great job this season and I am sure they would keep him fit.

No he said every player had his own way and he thought that his is not like Marin's....
-
true. But Loucas Moura would also cost the double.

Mourinho is only being modest. Of coure we are going for the EPL title. Every top team has a new manager and we other than city have a manager who knows how to win titles. we have the most talented squad in the PL already, of course we have a real chance. Hazard, oscar, Lukaku, KDB, Azpi will all make a step up, transition was last year. Borussia Dortmund also have fought on all fronts for 3 years, dominating teams like City or United with their main players being very young either. hazard and Mata are surely not less talented than Reus and Götze. The problem is the tactics. A good coach with good man-management like Mou can make us competitive again even without big signings.
-
Fred has to be the slowest man on the planet. No idea why such an average player is regular starter for Brazil
-
the best player in the EPL and one of the best in the world, future Balon d'Or winner. i do not like him personally at all, I also do not like Messi or Ronaldo, cos they are cunts, but they are fucking class just like Bale. I think many Chelsea fans are a bit biased in judging him cos he is a spurs player. But he is not mere counter attacking player. He is effective on the break, but most of his long range stunenrs come when the oppositon actually has its whole team in front of him. It is not alone his pace, Lennon is faster than him, but bAle is better cos he is a damn good footballer. His passes and crossing are extremely precise, his shot is a weapon. his dribbling and his pace can create space out of nothing + his shot can use this space to score. The ability to create and score a goal singlehandidly and out of nothing is sth only few footballers have and can consistently pull of. Bale is one of them, just like Messi, Ronaldo and our very own Hazard.
-
This is what hulk makes so dangerous. he can stroll the whole game, but he only needs one fast step to cut inside and make a goal out of nothing. this time he was close, but his hit is ferocious
-
This Brazil team might be no vintage, very European in their tactics, but they got some damn good players. Neymar and Oscar might be a bit young for the hopes of the whole nation resting on their shoulders, but their defense is more stable than ever before. David Luiz might be an embarrasment at times, but every time he commits a crazy error up front, Gustavo or Paulinho has already tracked back. Their organization is quite good, even though Japan have done nothing to really threaten up to now.
-
Really? For me, de Rossi is one of the very best CDMs in the world and the best one available right now.
-
He is pretty damn fast and his finishing is nice, too. But that's it. He is a bit like FAbio Borini. Can't say if he has the quality to make it to the very top, but he is surely good enough for the EPL.
-
i would not follow my family's advice for a move either, so their opinions do not really have a value. Let their family have their moments in the spotlight, the decision will be made elsewhere.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7sNO92GPuQ still this is far worse. A weakass like Benayoun could have "been killed" there. Amazing how we got a freekick for this and Bosingwa did not get banned.
-
that little piece of maths does not really work in your favour. First. Hazard 2x wtf? only because he can play more than one position does not mean he competes for two. Every oen of these players can play at least 2 positions. Secondly, Kakuta and Davila are not good enough, iPiazon is not ready yet and will probably go out on loan again. 150m for two Messi's and a Ronaldo? We could not buy either of those and if we would, we again would have to splash out money for their backups - same problem I'd actually have more good players for the money than one very good. Lower risk (injuries etc.) and more of a chance that one will come really good. We paid 59m € for Torres. The same we paid for Mata+Moses+Schürrle. Everyone knows which money was invested better. You never now with transfers, esp with big money moves...
-
I remember. Mata really raped him, but that had nothing to do with strenght it was simply a big mistake by Walker. I do not say we should buy him, but if you watch him regularly you see he is rather strong for a fullback.
-
he has amazing strength, pace and shot. But that's it. We have Azpi, Iva and Kalas can also play there.
