  1. how so? Mata was not offered to ManU, was only made up by the media. One can tell Mata is not the typical Mou player, but I am pretty sure Mou recognizes his talent.
  2. brilliant picture. Mou has to have some plans with DL in midfield. We can't go into the season with only Mikel and Essien as options for DM.
  3. btw did we really field only 10 players in the 2nd half?
  4. So it seems not everything run together too well yet. My exam was rather shit, too, but i am pretty sure I passed. How did Schürrle, MvG, Kalas perform? And who the hell is Traore? There must be a dozen of players with that last name playing in Europe, I have lost overview.
  5. Women's football is just wrong. The rules are not adequat and the hype around women's football articificially created by the media and the subsidies they get for it is bad for women in general. There are sports men shouldn't do and don't do. Just like gymnastics on a balance bearn or roller derby. And there are sports women should not do. Those include all sports that are based on those aspects of brain and body where women are just inferior to men. One of those is football. Women are smaller, slower, have less jumping ability, are less agile, can not kick a ball as accurate or as hard as men. As a result of that in womens football there are on average less goals, cos women tend to hit the target less often with their shots (even though the abyss between top women football teams and the worst is much wider), there are mor throw-ins cos women tend to inadvertedly hoof the ball out of play more often, more goal-kicks, cos women miss the goal more often, more turnovers even though there are less tackles, cos women tend to lose the ball more often due to unforced errors, they run and pass less while needing more time for that. Womens football is like playing fat kids. So it is like youth-football. The difference is: kids play on smaller goals on smaller fields so their technical and physical deficiencies do not matter that much. As most women, kids are unable to reach well placed shots or unprecise passes, so they let them play on smaller goals on smaller fields so their technical and physical deficiencies do not matter that much and destroy the run of play. It's the exact same thing with women. The problem is the rules are what makes football so attractive. Beach football or indoor football have different rules and are not remotedly as popular. So states like Germany and the US, who made it their national task to promote womens football did so by maintining the rules for women, hoping they would have the same effect as with mens football. In basketball or handball, it does not matter that much if the court is a few metres longer or shorter. I am not saying women should not play football just because they suck at it as i am not forbidding men to do balance bearn gymnastics. But there are differences between men and women. One should not limit any genders chances because of those but one also should not try to force people to overlook them. This is what feminism has done and look at how much it has disrupted and permanently damaged society.
  6. It just stroke my mind, that this is the real last season of the old guard. In 2012 only Drogba departed, but now Cole, Terry, Lamps, Essien and with Courtois coming back next year also Cech face exit or loss of importance. Means we have to sign some 1 or 2 experienced players to mitigate the transition. Hazard, Oscar, mata will probably be beast in a year, but I doubt KDB; MvG, Schürrle, Chalobah and Mceachran will ALL be ready. There still have to be some experienced guys they can learn from and who know the pressure. Ok, we wills till have Luiz, Mikel, Iva, but I doubt that will suffice. We might not be that far off with those de Rossi, Rooney rumours. They would provide the experience in the 2 departments we will be lacking it.
  7. They might be different players but the pattern is exactly like Torres': big name striker, 27 y.o., epic years at a red-clothed epl team, last season was not really prolific, indicating decline, transfer request, injury prone in general, injured when signing contract, both strikers who started to play regularly early in career, hence the early physical decline... Of course the risk is not the same as with Torres, as Roo is mentally stronger and has adapted his game to his physical decline, but still the risk is there. It is not so high because of the price tag but because of the salary. So, in this case we can minimize it by giving him a shorter contract. Give him 3 years. If he performs well he still can sign for longer, but I doubt he will get his 240k per week when he is 30. And do not come up with: "Rooney is not that injury prone". Remember the 2009/10 season where he was really on fire. he was injured by van buyten in munich and could not play the title deciding encounter against us. It wasn't really that much of a hard tackle still the injury concern was so big, he, as their main player could not play in their most important game of the season, it cost them the title. Cech, Luiz and Cahill had injury concerns in the cl final against munich, all three played the whole match. FAce it, Rooney is extremely injury prone. it is not that he takes up bad injurys like Torres, but small injuries tend to take him out longer than they should... I somehow got a feeling this drama around him is all staged and Utd only want to get outrageous money for an almost finished player...like Liverpool got with Torres (it was brilliant business from them, getting 60m € for a player they knew was a wreck)
  8. It is our fault we are under damn pressure signing a DM, after we rushed to loan out Romeu. We should have waited until we have signed DDR or s.o. like him beofre loaning him out. I hate it how the club always manouvres itself into unncessarily weak positions. Just like last season when we needlessly sold Meireles and loaned Essien after we had already loaned out KDB, Josh and Chalobah.
  9. I also thought it is kinda ironic that an Arsenal fan thinks a Chelsea player is overrated. Didn't they want to buy Torres a few weeks ago?
  10. He might be an overly expensive scumbag, but as is Rooney. But Zlatan's swag has kinda style, Rooney is just a chav. Both would thrill the fans in their respective ways, but Zlatan is the way more spectacular player. He has scored shitloads of amazing goals 99% of player are not even capable of scoring.
  11. Zlatan is probably the most complete striker to ever play the game. He would win us titles, no doubt about that, but at what price. His salary, his ego and the effect it would have on the development of our younger players in his position might just outweigh that.
  12. van Ginkel, Schürrle...we do not sign those players to play 4-2-3-1. We will surely be returning to 4-3-3 at some point. It may not fit Mata, but it does fit Ramires, Lamps, KDB, MvG, Mikel better, which in the end is more important. Our best player is not Mata, it is Hazard. Technically he is just as good as Mata but much faster and younger. His as well as Oscar's ceiling is much higher than Mata's. Even though Juan Mata is a brilliant little player, we can and should do better in terms of star man. Mata is a worldclass player, but he won't get any better, Hazard is the future. Hazard has ability to impose himself on any opposition with his speed, Mata will always go missing against strong defenses like Bayern, City, Real, juve.
  13. &Kalas is a damn pacewhore for a defender. He is even faster than Azpilicueta and David Luiz
  14. I am pretty sure we have toplay 4-3-3 in the big games. Nowadays all big teams except Barca teams play 4-2-3-1. We only can beat them when we have one man more in midfield. Mata will be useless against Real, BAyern, City, Juve anyway.
  15. I really like this vid: http://www.fanatix.com/news/video-chelsea-star-petr-cech-showcases-brilliant-skill-in-training/127177/
  16. NIce piece of business. Offloading an average defender for 3m after having got 500k from hamburg for the loan. He was purchase for abou 120k. Investment paid off.
  17. BVB are probably the only bundesliga side who play attractive football. With their hard-working mentality they always let look players better than they are.
  18. No he is not and never will be. But Imagine one of the three is out in a big match. Would you play Moses in a CL final? I'd rather go with Schürrle. With him and de Bruyne we can rotate Mazacar more often without downgrading the team too much. With less fatigue, their performances will become even better. Also is a player who really can change a game coming from the bench.
  19. Yeah, German footballers love to have those 20 000 € websites. Marko Marin also has one...
  20. NO it's just pressed against his latissimus. Cahill, even though rathr average as a player, has an amzing physique one has to admit.
  21. This. It takes so long, cos De Rossi is on vacation and will only sign the contract once he is back.
  22. whatever. Apple products are outdated compared to Samsung products of the same generation. Just compare the data of the soft- and hardware. http://www.connect.de/vergleichstest/samsung-galaxy-s3-gegen-iphone-5-1440744.html But heeeey those are just facts. Apple's popularity is not built on facts. it's built on believes. A belief is looking at a fact and saying: "NO there has to be something better than this". And so do apple fanboys."No our tech might be outdated, but hey let's call it innovation, no matter how ancient it actually is"
  23. This allegiance to apple is kinda relgious. But it is a fact that apple only have long outdated technology for exaggerated prices. Take mobiles, the rival models by samsung are not only 200$ cheaper but also have a quad not only a duo core processor, a superior amoled-display, a much better camera, longer lasting accumulator...I could continue this list forever. I really like the designs of apple, but the iphones are so tiny gadgets with such a small display I could not work with it. Apple is for fankids, Samsung is for pragmatists.
  24. in the lower price class maybe. But German producer Loewe makes the best TVs in the world. But they also cost four times as much.
