  1. An already awesome Real side + Isco and Suarez is scary. No idea whether Isco is better than Özil. Anyway we really should aim to strengthen our defense. With Luiz in his confed-cup form, Cole ageing and Azpi still unproven in CL it can get really shaky against the big gus, esp as we still do not have a good DM. Personally, I would make a defensive signing priority over a striker.
  2. Now we got Schürrle a Hulk signing becomes even more unrealistic. His inconsistency and technical deficiencies often let his past in semiprofessional football shine through. Unique player, still, but no exactly what we need, esp not as striker.
  3. I'm pretty sure KDB does not give a fuck which number he gets. He is not a kid who cries around "mimimi...i can't have my lucky number...buhu". He knows he has to earn his place, he won't start having star affectations. He can't afford those.
  4. 1. No one, NO ONE will pay 70m for Cavani. Not even City 2. That is not how the 10% rule works. Palermo will get 10% of the price he is sold for, not an additional 10%. The price will be determined by Chelsea and Napoli and the latter will pay those 10% of the deal, a maximum of 6.3m €. If you always think you'll get an extra 10%, I can retrace why you country's economic is so freakin messed up. 3. Chelsea won't pay 63m for Cavani. If they were prepared to do so, they already would have. Napoli is not an established top club who can simply make their players stay as long as ADL wants. As of now, they are only a springboard. If they forced Cavani to stay, it would send out a message to all players they might want to sign someday, that it will be very hard to get out. As long as a club does not play for titles and does not pay those extra high wages it can't afford that stance. If Cavani wants to move adn no one pays the clause, Napli wil be forced to accept a lower bid. If they don't they will have an unhappy Cavani around for whom they will get a good deal less when they finally have to sell him next year.
  5. Well, would not mind a decent midfielder, but isn't he also more of a player for a 4-3-3? Or is he able to play as DLP?
  6. really? I mean, rami is a decent defender. Tall, strong, great header and tackling, does anything he is asked to do as a CB...but nothing else. Opposite to Cahill he lacks every kind of pace whatsoever, can forget about a highline with Rami.
  7. Imagine Mata, Oscar, Lamps are out, we face a big fish in the CL and simply decide to sit back and field a Defense ---------David Luiz------ ----Ramires----KDB Hazard--Cavani--Schürrle lineup. The counter-attacking prowess of that team can bury any opponent as soon as they lose the ball. David Luiz can make one of his mega aggressive tackles to hand us the ball when we have no right to get. KDB and Ramires can easily break through the midfield, Hazard and Schürrle will race to give Cavani a tap in.
  8. OMG. I could not believe he could be even uglier than he is already. But he just has to open his mouth.
  9. Particularly strange cos English is pretty easy to learn. Speaking fluent Italian or French as a foreigner is much harder due to their complex syntax. Every damn pronoun has an own inflexion in almost every European language except in English. That's why most Germans love to learn it. I think in South America ppl might have problems adapting to a non-Romanic language even though they are in fact easier. When players come to europe and find a community of Spanish and Portugese speakers here, they do not see the necessity of learning the language. On the other hand everyone is wanking about how good Guardiola's German is. He has been studying German for half a year, 5 hours a day and still sounds like his incisors have been unplugged. There are really few ppl who speak accurate German. Even most Germans speak some funny idioms whilst most learners sound completely ridiculous cos they do not get along with all those hard consonants. That's also the reason why everyone thinks we would speak like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjV-4CtiIV0
  10. We do not overpay everytime. i think every minor acquisiton like Azpi, Moses, Ba we pay a reasonable price. Everyone would have to pay so much for ppl like Cavani, Torres... But surely Tevez is waaay better than Dzeko, question is whether Tevez is worth dealing with his antics and ridiculous wages. Ba costs half as much per week, is not moaning about the bench, not playing homesick, not taking time off for golf and not being an asshole towards his coach + he gives his all also against minor opponents whereas Tevez might be a worldclass player on his day in a big game but is average in 60% of the others. Ba might be an average player but he has scored terrific goals in which games? Bingo, the big games. I think in recent times there has not been much reason to risk buying a Tevez instead of playing the safer option by purchasing Ba.
  11. Herzlich Willkommen beim Chelsea Football Club, Landsmann You might not have been my first choice, but I have a really good feeling about this move now. I think his decent English and Michael Ballack will help him settle really quickly. His great attitude sounds through the interview. He really has a nice sense for style, the suit suits him perfectly. He will look cool in a blue shirt, too. Somehow I can really relate to him, now the move has become real. He comes from a poor, middle-sized town in Rheinland-Pfalz, just like me and played his first days of professional football just 100km away. I'v witnessed his first games and goals . It just strikes me how amazing it has to be to join such a club and suddenly play alongside living legends like Petr and Lamps, guys u have always looked up to but who have also been so ever-distant.
  12. This sentence makes no sense. I assume what he wants to say is that there is no official agreement reached. One might think, some people here already knew that.
  13. This saga really lacks dynamic, cos Napoli are do not need to sell and no one exactly needs to spend so much on a striker. The good thing about that is we do not have to rush anything, cos City will not bid that much either. It only goes over Cavani and how badly he wants to move, so he may be inclined to force it through below the clause. Either that or ADL fucks his own stance up by gravely insulting the player or sth like that.
  14. If Mikel had the offensive abilites he allegedly has, why does almost never socre a goal or even create one. The required technical abilites you need for being an offensive midfielder differ from the ones required for DMs. If he always has had these, there is no way he only scored and assisted single figures in 7 years.
  15. Soldado has been a very clever buy for Valencia 2 years ago. He was already great when he was with Getafe. Now he has reached his peak. I think it is neither in our nor in his interest to tear him out of a squad he fits in perfecty. He is 28, won't get any better. also we have Torres, 29, Ba, 28, we should not add anothe rplayer in that age bracket. We are missing one in the 24-27 category.
  16. Do I have understand de Laurentiis correctly, does Cavani's buy out clause expire at 10th August, so afterwards they have to listen to bids lower than those 63m € ?
  17. Actually our new deal only starts 2014 which makes it a nine year deal, which makes it even better than the Real deal per annum Bayern has a traditional bond with Adidas, so us getting the best deal ever from them makes them boiling mad.
  18. Brazil hit 4 past a strong Italy tonight. They did not miss anyone.
  19. amazing how rapidly Buffon has declined. Italy should really consider replacing him with Sirigu or Marchetti.
  20. A stream anyone? I would be really grateful, wiziwig and atdhe are lagging as fuck at my browser...
  21. But they sold van Nistelroy, Beckham and C.Ronaldo to Real Madrid only. And they know that Rooney -declining or not- would improve a title rival drastically, whilst there is no one for these 30m who could adequately replace Rooney. Do you really think Moyes would be so dumb to enter the season with a strikerforce of an aging Rvp, a striker who is as lethal as a Bundeswehr soldier and a poacher who can not lead the line?
  22. The question is whether Utd would strengthen a title rival. If I were them I'd rather park Rooney in the stands for a whole season then sell to us.
  23. + strength pace interceptions positioning sence heading tackling stamina, drive - terrible passing extreme one-footedness does give the ball away easily bad shooter no experience
  24. That midfield would be amazing. Even though IMO Dembele is a much better box-to-box midfielder than Paulinho, it gives them amazing quality and balance in mdifield, cos all of their midfielder can defend. Still nothing compared to the Makelele-Essien-Lampard midfield we once had and also not as good as a De Rossi-Ramires-KDB midfield.
  25. I don't think we will sell him and we probably shouldn't do so now. He is our second best and probably most important player. So there is no reason to do so. Bu it is not that he is sacrosanct. For anything above 50m I'd consider selling him. Replacing him would not really be that much of a problem. We got Oscar and de Bruyne, who can be at least as good. They are much more complete. Also it would be easier to implement the 4-3-3 which IMO is better for the epl and fits us better than the 4-2-3-1. For the money we could get a player who would help us in departments were we got bigger problems such as defensive midfield. But again why? He is at the very peak of his power right now. We can still make a good profit on him in a few years.
