  1. really sensible of you guy. Welcome on my ignore list you disgusting prick.
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK8dMRLVWvg
  3. Yeah, I also appreciate Kevin's ability and he really could be fighting for the first spot at CAM, but look Mata has played this for two years for us and Oscar is the no1 CAM for Brazil. IMO they are both 1 and 3 years ahead of him...Nonethelss it is great to have those options. The depth we have for the 5 midfield positions is insane. And the option of not relying too much on Mazacar also in the big games is nice too. Lacks a bit of height I think, but otherwise nice balance. will be interesting to see whether Oscar really develops into a DLP. Still i think all of them, but esp mata and KDB have to add a bit of defensive ability. Mata, I am pretty sure can't, cos defending requires a tenacity and athleticism Mata just does not have. KDB is still young and has the physique of a boy. I am pretty sure he can add some muscle which will make him faster, stronger and in general more robust, so his defending will also improve.
  4. Funny you say this. I actually just ate a footlong roasted chicken breast subway, when I wrote it. But I remain, Mata and Oscar are naturally more creative than Kev, even though Kev is more direct.
  5. you should tell that my grandma, she died of cancer last year. Probably she did not eat enough vegetables
  6. They really are not. 2/3 of all teams in the bundesliga are championship level ...just with less money. I strongly doubt he will be one of the best in the world. he will be a really good footballer. But what position will he become the best in the world ? CM? surely not, does not have the defensive abilites at all. Wing? Too slow. CAM? Not even close to being as creative as Mata or Oscar...
  7. Calm down guys. He looks amazing and has been THE star of the preseason so far. But he still has not played vs decent oppositions week in week out. You really can't expect his form against some crappy Singapur and Malaysia sides to hold in the EPL forever. Still amazing goal. He is really a sublime footballer.
  8. Stay patient. We got time. It is Wayne fuckin Rooney. He is no Torres who relies on perfect passes into space. Rooney can come in, not knowing jack of our tactics and still make an impact. Even though it will be funny with him dropping back having Rooney, Mata, Lampard, Oscar, Hazard all strolling within square yards in front of the opposition's box while in possession. The decision will not be made too soon. Utd will check out how much we are offering before considering the possibility of selling him to us. They lose anyway. Either they have an unmotivated, unhappy player on outrageous wages or become a laughing stock because of practically handing us the title.
  9. We could play that with de Rossi as only DM...Maan that would be amazing. I think Hazard is best at LW. As he is our best player, that criteria is indifferent to the question of formation.
  10. Lamps might be the way greater legend but still JT was an amazing player for us for his entire career. He has really been chelsea through and through and was a major reason for our success 2004-2010. Even though he declined rapidly afterwards and caused some scandals. I also think he is overrated. Lamps, Cech, Drogs (in this exact order) are bigger legends of course, but his commitment still sees him make the top10 of chelsea players of all time
  11. If I were Mou i would have Iva CB and Kalas RB. Kalas is faster and better technically than iva, also a far better crosser, whilst iva is stronger, taller and more solid defensively
  12. Mourinho is double the manager Moyes or Pellegrini are. No idea why people are so pessimistic. Even without de Rossi and Rooney our squad is just good enough to win the league.
  13. Maybe Mou plans MvG as a DLP. He is still young and mouldable
  14. Seems so. FFP is really even more of a joke if PSG and Monaco get through with this shit. No matter how many loopholes their balance sheet must be so fuckin deep red, they can't get into the competition.
  15. Lamps is one of the most prolific corner takers in permiership history...but we probably need his height in the box more nowadays with our midget team.
  16. Has to. Would be a completely needless friendly in our anyway congested schedule otherwise.
  17. Because he is predictable. Like I said before, he is a slower, less talented Sturridge with better work rate and attitude. Sturridge also is predictable, always trying to beat his man and then shoot. It is about the same with Schürrle. But don't worry, in the season he will be sharp and that will work out more often than not. Even though it is predictable, you can't deny him too often. I think MvG is rather tall and strong for a man of his age. That is why Mou brought him for the first team. The guy is ready.
  18. Utd won't sell him to us unless they get in real trouble as there is the possibility this move can be title-deciding. Anyway they have to see they can't keep Rooney without ruining the spirit in the whole team. At the same time they can't simply sick Rooney into the reserves as we did Malouda. We paid Flo-Mo what? 100k a week? Rooney will cost almost three times that much while not playing. They have to sell him and as long as he sits it out, they also have to sell him to the club Rooney desires. If that is us, I do not know. Still there might be another club coming up with crazy money, but the options are limited. Can you imagine Rooney in France or Spain? ManCity is not an option, neither is Arsenal.
  19. how so? Mata was not offered to ManU, was only made up by the media. One can tell Mata is not the typical Mou player, but I am pretty sure Mou recognizes his talent.
  20. brilliant picture. Mou has to have some plans with DL in midfield. We can't go into the season with only Mikel and Essien as options for DM.
  21. btw did we really field only 10 players in the 2nd half?
  22. So it seems not everything run together too well yet. My exam was rather shit, too, but i am pretty sure I passed. How did Schürrle, MvG, Kalas perform? And who the hell is Traore? There must be a dozen of players with that last name playing in Europe, I have lost overview.
  23. It just stroke my mind, that this is the real last season of the old guard. In 2012 only Drogba departed, but now Cole, Terry, Lamps, Essien and with Courtois coming back next year also Cech face exit or loss of importance. Means we have to sign some 1 or 2 experienced players to mitigate the transition. Hazard, Oscar, mata will probably be beast in a year, but I doubt KDB; MvG, Schürrle, Chalobah and Mceachran will ALL be ready. There still have to be some experienced guys they can learn from and who know the pressure. Ok, we wills till have Luiz, Mikel, Iva, but I doubt that will suffice. We might not be that far off with those de Rossi, Rooney rumours. They would provide the experience in the 2 departments we will be lacking it.
  24. They might be different players but the pattern is exactly like Torres': big name striker, 27 y.o., epic years at a red-clothed epl team, last season was not really prolific, indicating decline, transfer request, injury prone in general, injured when signing contract, both strikers who started to play regularly early in career, hence the early physical decline... Of course the risk is not the same as with Torres, as Roo is mentally stronger and has adapted his game to his physical decline, but still the risk is there. It is not so high because of the price tag but because of the salary. So, in this case we can minimize it by giving him a shorter contract. Give him 3 years. If he performs well he still can sign for longer, but I doubt he will get his 240k per week when he is 30. And do not come up with: "Rooney is not that injury prone". Remember the 2009/10 season where he was really on fire. he was injured by van buyten in munich and could not play the title deciding encounter against us. It wasn't really that much of a hard tackle still the injury concern was so big, he, as their main player could not play in their most important game of the season, it cost them the title. Cech, Luiz and Cahill had injury concerns in the cl final against munich, all three played the whole match. FAce it, Rooney is extremely injury prone. it is not that he takes up bad injurys like Torres, but small injuries tend to take him out longer than they should... I somehow got a feeling this drama around him is all staged and Utd only want to get outrageous money for an almost finished player...like Liverpool got with Torres (it was brilliant business from them, getting 60m € for a player they knew was a wreck)
  25. It is our fault we are under damn pressure signing a DM, after we rushed to loan out Romeu. We should have waited until we have signed DDR or s.o. like him beofre loaning him out. I hate it how the club always manouvres itself into unncessarily weak positions. Just like last season when we needlessly sold Meireles and loaned Essien after we had already loaned out KDB, Josh and Chalobah.
