  1. Torres, and that besides him being shit as a player and weak as a character is the biggest problem, gives a shit about the club. He has won everything, he has no motivation to play on, his body is finished. he started playing so early, it's just like Michael Owen, his career has survived itself with his constant loss of form, pace and skills.
  2. I am sure they can arrange themselves. If 16 is not a special number for MvG, he surely will give it to De Rossi. Nonetheless a bit insensible not to save the number for a potential arival of DDR,. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJd6X66a_hA 0:18 "a lot of nice bitches"
  3. Some members really have a right to feel vindicated cos some demanded his signing months ago. If the talknet was in charge of CFC, I think MvG and Mark Schwarzer would have been signed, too. btw lol@ his manbag
  4. I reckon we would get Benteke ahead of Arsenal and Pool if we really wanted him, the question is, isn't he all too similar to lukaku.
  5. Actually Kalas, Schürrle and Bamford are all the same height. It's efo not Schürrle, whose hair is light blonde and shorter. It is defo Kalas. Just compare the pick with the other one where kalas facing towards the viewer tackles ba. Same shoes
  6. When there is no stand-out candidate, think it all depends on form and availability. Everyone will get minutes.
  7. Lol. Instead of annoucing they just let Mark stray around at our facilities waiting for a photographer to spot him? Maybe he is not signed yet and we just assess his fitness etc before he signs a contract
  8. Navas is not as good as he used to be. One still does not know how he can handle his homesickness over longer periods and. Navas is extremely lightwight and has already lost pace. He might give them other options than this Nasri-Milner wings but Navas is just as predictable. Fernandinho I don't know much about, but it should be a huge step up from ukranian league to epl. Also Pellegrini has never managed an EPL team before, Jose knows the league well and is undoubtley the way better coach. additionally, the league is won against the small teams and our squad is good enough to beat all of them. Last season we had the problem, that our squad was so thin, we often had to save energy in these games, which is why we conceded so much from winning positions. We still might not be able to compete with City in the direct encounters and yes, they got the best squad, but they also had the best squad last year and did not win the league. Also in 2011, Utd won the league with an absolute rubbish team. It's all about consistency, that's why you can't tell City will win the league just because they got the best squad. Last season our squad was not good enough to win the title. This year it is, no matter how much better City's is.
  9. White guys can be just as tough as black guys...but not when you are a ginger, middle-class, baby-face lightwight who has only seen problems from distance and combine dragged back basecaps with JFK glasses^^
  10. Maybe PvA being loaned back with Kalas staying means he will actually feature for us next season. Would be nice to have an investment paying off once.
  11. Exactly. R.I.P. libero. Still some very defensive coaches like Hans Meier still implemented a 2 libero system in the 21st century, which was mainly like a system with 6 defenders. The libero movement was rather horicontal than vertical, so they could help out either cbs, mids or fullbacks. But, as they only played with 3 mids and one striker, the two liberos sometimes surprisingly joined attack. It earned Gladbach and Nürnberg some famous draws in Munich and Schalke. The libero is maybe not the best idea. But Luiz could play next to de Rossi. This could be amazing. Two players as aggressive as these two would scare the shit out of every opposition.
  12. This sounds realistic IMO. Would be a good deal for all three parties.
  13. I know. They should be called "von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha" if they did not change their name. But the history of the British king's and queen's is really interesting. Initially the crown was bent by William the Conquerer and later by Henry IV who won against his older cousin, was crowned by the parliament ditching his other cousin who was above him in the succesion list in the process, causing the roses 60 years later. If we go by your logic, the English monarch had been the rightful king of France for 500 years, so Maria Stuart practically surrendered her claim to the english throne by marrying the king of France , who in fact should have been herself if she had maintained her claim as legit.
  14. It's really funny how people consider men with average faces as attractive when they are well groomed and nicely styled just as Schürrle and MvG. I have to admit these fashionable Hitler-Jugend style undercuts fit both of them pretty well. Schürrle btw is gay according to persistent rumours in Germany. Anyway, the leather jacket he sports on that pic is amazing. Anyone an idea where he got it?
  15. That's not true. In Germany the Royals are greatly covered in the mainstream media. Also the Royal Family attracts many tourists. IMO it is one of the main reasons, Britain still got the monarchy, because it brings more money to Britain than it costs.
  16. whatever. Adan is neither good nor English, I think our 2nd goalkeeper should be both. Mou knows as much as we that there are better goalies than turnbull for peanuts, but he obviously sees something in Ruddy.
  17. If there was any possibility of us getting Lewa and Roo, we would taken it, I am sure of that. As for Negredo, Soldado, Gomez, Higuain and the other one I do not see where this should lead us. IMO, the minor upgrade to what we got now they would provide is comfortably outdone by the prospect of Lukaku breaking through. As of now they might be better than him, but Lukaku has the potential to surpass them within months. Besides his desire to play for the club, Lukaku boasts attributes few other players have. Pace+Strength u simply can't defend that sort of athleticism, he will get chances against any defender. Some might say, he did not even start at WBA all the time or has never led the line on his own, had no experience. But which future star did so with 19? Our squad bursts with creativity, he will get even more chances than at WBA. True he might not be able to lead us in the big games but he does not have to. We have never really been a team that depends entirely on one striker. Demba Ba and Torres have been shit most of the season, Lukaku is better than them already.
  18. With everyone moaning about us having missed out on various world-class strikers, Lukaku starting next season with some important goals vs ManU and Bayern would be epic. .
  19. If Romeu had started ahead of Lamps last season, we would probably not even play European football. Oriol might have potential, but yet he is still average. NO one knows how he recovers from his injury. Demanding his definite inclusion is just dumb.
  20. we do, we had one in the last two years, I doubt we would have omitted it this time.
  21. Ba might be average, but Torres is far worse. We would be selling the wrong, cheaper and much more useful striker
  22. I hope not. The problem is more that we do not ty our youth players long enough to profit on their sales. If they want to sit out their contract we can simply laon them, if not we can sell them. Decent players like Borini, Cork left on a free just because we were too slow to give them long term pro contracts fo rthem to have selling value.
  23. de Rossi won't join PSG. They might already have some italians with Sirigu and Motta but he wants to win real titles and not the French pussy league. Still PSGs interest does not make it easier for us.
  24. De Rossi fits us even better, Martinez is probably the slowest player on the planet. I hope we rather loan MvG back to Vitesse or so. He will not find enough playing time cos he is still way behind any of Oscar, Lampard, Ramires.
  25. Anelka, ironically, was our first post-Jose signing. At least Mourinho is not only seeing his own shadows at his return to the EPL
