  1. Have not got the chance to post about this match yet, so here is my chance. Fabulous win, 8-0 can you believe that. I think many people expected Villa to give us a game considering they were on a 5 game unbeaten run and destroyed Liverpool at Anfield. From goalkeeper to attack we were excellent, Benteke did not trouble us at all. Credit Benitez for sure. I like the way he has not just jumped on the bandwagon and playing the 'three amigos' all the time. This is the mistake RDM made, overplaying them and not enough rotation. Benitez can sense Oscar is a quality, young player but he still has some developing to do in the Premier League and when he has played Mata, Hazard and Moses we look much more threatening and there is more fluidity within the team. Moses had another brilliant game, tormented Villa's defence. Hazard picked up the form that many of us saw in the first stages of the season, he was just excellent today and good that he has another goal to his name. I previously stated my contempt towards having Benitez here but I am not going to bare grudges against him when credit is due. Not just the fact that we won 8-0 but his tactical readings of the game is excellent which he needs credit for. I think he realises the team is more balanced when we have Moses and 2 other technical players such as Mata and Hazard. Moses with his pace and power while the other 2 are brilliant technical players so the team balances itself well as shown today and at Sunderland. Also not many people have read into this but Lampard put in another top notch performance. Benitez saw that he started to get a bit tired, what does he do, put on Ramires against an opposition who look bereft of all confidence and then goes on to bag 2 goals. Brilliant managing from Benitez there. Would have liked to see Marin come on but oh well Benitez had different ideas and was justified. Brought on Oscar, 1 penalty, 2 assists, well make that 3 as he set up his own penalty. Ramires came on as already stated and got 2 goals and Piazon made 1 assists, earned another penalty and performed very well. Could not ask for any better, brilliant win. Hope the form continues!
  2. Brilliant Lukaku! The commentator said he has been fantastic all day so he obviously has appreciated his work rate as well. I hope he comes back to be a revelation here. I can easily see him scoring goals here next season for fun!
  3. They beat us 3-1 at the Bridge last season and managed an exceptional result at Anfield last week. There should be no complacency from fans or players.
  4. Can't help but laugh. Vitesse beat some opposition in the cup 10-1. He scored 2 of them
  5. Sturridge not even on the bench. Yep, he definitely gone now.
  6. Really pissed of that we are losing a big English talent. He got into double figures from a position that is not his desired spot but he produced moments of excellence last season. At this stage last season he was in the form of his life, Chelsea fans enjoyed watching him play and he was our best player along with Mata this stage last season. So disappointing. He provided numerous amount of assists as well for those who claim he is selfish. Liverpool's gain is our loss, now they have two of the brightest young English prospects in their attacking lineup in Sturridge and Sterling. DAMN!
  7. I only know him through Football Manager.
  8. They will not mind Hulk and Alves. They come under the category as dark but are not black players if you know what I mean. Witsel is the one who should be on alert. I am sure he was anyway but with the money he was being offered he probably thought he will play in Russia for a few years. I understand teams like Bilbao but Zenit fans like this are a bunch of retards and cowards!
  9. History will have nothing to do with who Cavani goes to. It will be to the one who is in the Champions League or offers most money.
  10. Well with the tragedy of his son, that shattered him badly and he recovered well with his performances on the pitch and I think became more level-headed. He scores nearly every game and disciplinary improving so I guess his attitude is improving. He could turn out to be another Benteke in the prem but I think with more goals.
  11. Another 2 goals today. Beast!
  12. Lol the 4 people who voted Torres are totally insane!
  13. Lol Warnock is going to play a weakened team as he the championship is his main focus. Playing into our hands in other words
  14. I don't see why some people believe Walcott is selfish. He runs all over the pitch and works hard and for his decent goal ratio, provides many assists as well. He managed 12 assists last season, was a prominent reason why RVP scored so many goals and scored 11 goals while this season he has 10 goals to his name already. For a player who has his fair share of injuries and is not always in the starting line up, I think he would be a fantastic addition to the squad here. People underrate his ability to score and create goals.
  15. Going strength to strength again! Recently celebrated his big 18th and scored today against Burnley
  16. It would only make sense for Real to get Falcao if they got rid of Benzema or Higuain or in fact both!
  17. Sterling will sign a new contract with them soon. No way he will join us no matter what reports says. He would not be a regular here. But yes like Madmax said I would definitely like to see Walcott here and there is a realistic chance of that happening
  18. I know he was not popular with a lot of fans but did it ever get this bad: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11813/8324105/Lille-boss-Rudi-Garcia-has-defended-under-fire-duo-Salomon-Kalou-and-Dimitri-Payet Jeered by his own fans, eek!
  19. On paper should be our cup for sure! But not going to take anything for granted. Lower league teams are always up for it. Not just a one time thing with Arsenal. It has happened with us against Barnsley in the FA Cup and Wycombe held us to a draw a few years ago albeit we battered them second leg. I am not going to underestimate Bradford but if we beat Leeds I pray we are drawn against them in the semis
  20. Look at their graduates who have come through and are regular starters. Valdes, Iniesta, Xavi, Pique, Alba, Puyol. Out of those, who has left or (is likely to leave) since becoming an integral part of thier play. Alba and Fabregas left Barca at early ages so they could get regular football at their age while Pique left due to limited opportunities but now is a regular and will finish his career there but Busquets is in the same category as Xavi and Iniesta and the rest mentioned. He has established himself as an important player them and there is no way he is going to leave. Barcelona and Busquets are probably just laughing to theselves when they see rumours linking him to City and Chelsea.
