Yannick Bolasie has been outshining him in recent weeks so Palace fans say and Zaha has been off form recently. I certainly think he should stay at Palace till the end of the season at least.
What? He was a handful and caused there defences all sorts of problems. I think you were watching a different game because you clearly did not watch the same match as most of us did
Mata needs a rest but due to this being a PL game, whether QPR are last or not we have to take it seriously and Mata is our best player currently so makes sense for him to start the match and be rested for Southampion in the cup
Mata pulled all the strings for us. He has had more influential matches but he dictated the tempo of this match. How one could say he was our worst player astonishes. Look at most match ratings and they will reflect that he had a good game. There was some moments this match where he was a joy to watch. I thought he had a very good game.
Mata is so much more effective than Silva. Struggle to see why he is not played more for Spain. Mata scores, assists. Really underrated. He is up there with the best IMO. His beard that he often has often makes me think he is a old man but he is only 24. Many years to go at this club
Demba Ba's performance against Arsenal was truly exceptional. Reminded me of how Drogba just use to bully other teams and be uncontrollable. Brilliant move for us, glad to see we are investing wisely.
Despite his 'knee problems' he has never got injured for Newcastle IIRC. Would be a decent buy. My question is does this mean Lukaku is set for more loans and how does this impact with Falcao one must wonder?
Demba Ba is available for us if we want him. Wenger already said that he likes Ba as a player but Arsenal will not make a move for him. So it is all in our hands. It all depends if the board want to make another £50m for a striker or spend cheap on other less high profiled players
Walcott will sign a new deal for sure. I just think he wants to get a prolonged role upfront and not be shifted wide. He sounded optimistic about signing the deal and so do Arsenal. Can't see why he would leave Arsenal for us unless it is for more money but he already said he just wants to play up front. I am sure he will sign a new deal in the end.
Well he scored against Arsenal, United, City, Barcelona and Newcastle, who are just in a bad run of form but are a good team. I am not his biggest fan but he has been overplayed recently as there is no one suitable to currently rotate him with.
I can't really disagree with you here but believe me Sterling was a different exception. He was clearly to good for the reserves and has featured every game since he started against City this season. But I agree with your second paragraph. Feruz lacks height but still scores in youth level. I just wonder if it would be a problem if he steps up to a more physical and quicker standard of football. The reason I made the point about Feruz as well is that he is starting more for the U21 now but he is not a frequent starter every game. Sometimes he starts, then has played the odd games for the U18 and the other games has featured on the bench
Because there is a huge difference between scoring goals in youth level and playing in the Premiership. Bamford scored regularly for the U21 and was farmed out on loan to MK Dons. That clearly shows the distinction between reserve footy and playing for our first team. Feruz is not ready yet and that is why he does not join up with the squad. My point about Sterling is he was destroying the reserves league and was to easy for him and was much better than what Feruz was in the reserves stage. Liverpool did not just play him simply because he was finding the reserve league easy but they gave him time to help him develop him rather than rush him which could potentially ruin a player and that is what we need to do with Feruz. Brilliant prospect yes but I will laugh at the idea for people to say he is ready. Just no way.
Regardless, he is not going to be considered for the first team until next season at earliest. He still has along way to go but will need a loan before featuring in our first team IMO. But there is no way he should be expecting to play for the European Champions. He is still on paper a first year youth scholar and we should take our time with him. Liverpool done it with Suso and Sterling and now they are reaping the benefits.
