Tough game but I expect a win. They have 2 key players out in Vorm and especially Neil Taylor at LB. They have a 19 year old, called Ben Davies playing there on a basic wage in the premier league who is rather inexperienced, we can really hurt them there. Putting Moses there may be a good option IMO. Michu will be a dangerman, has hit the PL by storm so far this season but the performance does not bother me for this match, entertaining football will be good to watch but to come out of here with a win is the most important thing.

This. I can't believe it when people say Sturridge was awful. He was wasteful with some of his chances but apart from that his trickery and creativity IMO was top class and linked up with play very well. His finish was first class and he looked like a man eager to prove a point and I am sure RDM saw more positives in him than negatives. Considering he has hardly got to prove himself up front and put in a decent performance tonight topped by a goal I definitely feel he should be given more chances to prove himself up front. I was thoroughly convinced by him tonight.

I smell victory!

Can't we just take the lead against them for once ffs!
-
I hate Hernandez so much. Arrogant prick and his celebration is annoying and worse thing is he always manages to score against us. Cocky bastard
-
I vote for myself haha if not me @RyanDavidson,I would say. Quite a few but yeah I go for him
-
Not really. Ivanovic is only suspended for 1 game and Cesar was always likely to start against United anyway.
-
We shouldnt, it was poor officiating but how could we possibly get the match replayed? There is not enough evidence to even suggest it was complete bias to United considering Torres could have been sent off first half and Mikel and Luiz was let off on a few occasions. Still bitter over the result but having the match replayed is not even an option. But yes f**k Mark Clattenbug.

Are you actually serious or is that meant to be some kind of joke? That post actually made me laugh

Watched MOTD2. Yes he was largely wasteful with a few of his chances but as he matures his finishing will improve, but despite that the assuring thing is that his movement against Newcastle was first class and constantly got himself into goalscoring opportunities and along with his pace to burn, his power also helps him. Once he gets more clinical we have a potentially goalscoring hero at Chelsea here. Think people are forgetting the fact that he is still only 19 and turns 20 next year.
-
Valencia got past him at every opportunity. Also, Valencia done a good job 'again' at restricting Cole's attacking movement. The thing Valencia has over him is that he is much faster, has more endurance and much more stronger, reason why Cole finds it extremely hard against him
-
Ashley Cole was our biggest liability at the back. Like every game Valencia is up against him, he rips him to shreds. However the Carling Cup is received by people, perfect chance for revenge against Referee United. Today got me go angry, still fuming over it. Not just the red cards but the fact that there winner was an offside goal. Bunch of cheats.
-
Don't know what it is about Antonio Valencia but he seems to completely destroy Ashley Cole whenever he comes up against him. Right from his Wigan to United games he gives Cole such a hard game. Today was just another performance where he completely exploited Cole. Still a brilliant LB either way but just seems that he is cursed everytime he is up against Valencia

Tevez? He has been inconsistent, he had a good performance on Saturday but that was his first PL goal in 8 games. He has been decent if anything

Losing 2-0 is spoiling my weekend but at least Lukaku is scoring again. Just scored against Newcastle
-
To cut a long story short, Mikel is a better DM than Y. Toure, however Y. Toure is a better midfielder than Mikel
-
Tough one, I do see where you are coming from tbh, people will have mixed views. I wouldnt say your point is ludicrous at all, I think Yaya Toure is one of the best midfielders in the world, rate him very highly.

Lukaku was bought in for £18m because of his potential. We should not even judge Lukaku this season on his fee because that is not his current value but what is potential represents is around there, possibly more. He has years to prove himself and so far has been impressive in his loan spell at WBA
-
The annoying thing with Torres is that he will score in one game and people will think this is going to kickstart his season but then he goes on a drought for another 3 games then will score in the next game and then people are left thinking maybe he is starting to hit his stride and then back to square 1. Really frustrating because if he was on fire every game I think people could easily argue we have the most fearsome attack in Europe
-
I don't think David Luiz is overrated at all for those who think he is. The media constantly pick out his errors he makes but seem to ignore for the pros he brings to the team. This season I think he has been very solid, couple errors here and there but overrall I think he has had a fantastic season so far and is one of my favourites. Some people say he was at fault for the Gervinho goal but apart from that he had a spectacular game and hardly put a foot wrong. The funny thing is because if anything I would say Luiz is underrated because when people here of him, many assume straight away that he may lose his cool and do something stupid when in fact he is our all round best defender. He is improving all the time at us
-
He was reportedly signed for £25m
-
WTF cares what other fans think? People who watch him (Chelsea fans) know him best and are the best ones to analyze his performance, not other fans and I know for a fact I would say he is our most improved player over the years.
-
Course not mate only banter, nothing personal
-
So you would be happy with an all youth team being sent out? Of course is matters lmao
-
In fairness to Count, he has a decent point because Torres has scored quite a few headers at his time at Liverpool and quite a few at us as well and is some what underrated in the air. Brilliant scored headers against Genk, Wolves and Norwich as well IIRC but I don't think that should even be a factor for this game of why he should start
