  1. Walcott will sign a new deal for sure. I just think he wants to get a prolonged role upfront and not be shifted wide. He sounded optimistic about signing the deal and so do Arsenal. Can't see why he would leave Arsenal for us unless it is for more money but he already said he just wants to play up front. I am sure he will sign a new deal in the end.
  2. Why not? He offers decent viewpoints and should be welcome here like anyone else
  3. Well he scored against Arsenal, United, City, Barcelona and Newcastle, who are just in a bad run of form but are a good team. I am not his biggest fan but he has been overplayed recently as there is no one suitable to currently rotate him with.
  4. I can't really disagree with you here but believe me Sterling was a different exception. He was clearly to good for the reserves and has featured every game since he started against City this season. But I agree with your second paragraph. Feruz lacks height but still scores in youth level. I just wonder if it would be a problem if he steps up to a more physical and quicker standard of football. The reason I made the point about Feruz as well is that he is starting more for the U21 now but he is not a frequent starter every game. Sometimes he starts, then has played the odd games for the U18 and the other games has featured on the bench
  5. Because there is a huge difference between scoring goals in youth level and playing in the Premiership. Bamford scored regularly for the U21 and was farmed out on loan to MK Dons. That clearly shows the distinction between reserve footy and playing for our first team. Feruz is not ready yet and that is why he does not join up with the squad. My point about Sterling is he was destroying the reserves league and was to easy for him and was much better than what Feruz was in the reserves stage. Liverpool did not just play him simply because he was finding the reserve league easy but they gave him time to help him develop him rather than rush him which could potentially ruin a player and that is what we need to do with Feruz. Brilliant prospect yes but I will laugh at the idea for people to say he is ready. Just no way.
  6. Regardless, he is not going to be considered for the first team until next season at earliest. He still has along way to go but will need a loan before featuring in our first team IMO. But there is no way he should be expecting to play for the European Champions. He is still on paper a first year youth scholar and we should take our time with him. Liverpool done it with Suso and Sterling and now they are reaping the benefits.
  7. Huge relief Mirallas is out. His pace has been terrorizing defenders this season. I hope we can win this match, always a tough match for us but wiht our momentum and stronger squad going into the game I think we will win this one. I would prefer to see Lampard on the bench for this match.
  8. It is all stupid rumours IMO about Lewa going to United. They have 4 strikers already and most of them are in double figures already. Maybe a reporter should ask SAF face to face and record it to the T.V so we can know the truth because it does not make sense in anywya for Lewa to join United.
  9. Seriously? I reckon Baines is underrated by many. He is definitely brilliant in attack with his runs, pace and set pieces but I feel he is quite solid as well. Tbh I would take Baines if Cole was to leave the club
  10. Baines one of the best LB in the world IMO. Highly underrated. I think on a performance level, he has been the best back in the PL for the last 2 seasons and is bang on form this season
  11. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8363262/Chelsea-s-Juan-Mata-keen-to-carry-on-playing-after-reaching-landmark-at-Norwich
  12. No! The reason why he wants to leave Inter is because they will not extend his contract if he refuses to take a pay cut at the club so he is unlikely to take a huge pay cut to join another club. Especially Spurs!
  13. Have not got the chance to post about this match yet, so here is my chance. Fabulous win, 8-0 can you believe that. I think many people expected Villa to give us a game considering they were on a 5 game unbeaten run and destroyed Liverpool at Anfield. From goalkeeper to attack we were excellent, Benteke did not trouble us at all. Credit Benitez for sure. I like the way he has not just jumped on the bandwagon and playing the 'three amigos' all the time. This is the mistake RDM made, overplaying them and not enough rotation. Benitez can sense Oscar is a quality, young player but he still has some developing to do in the Premier League and when he has played Mata, Hazard and Moses we look much more threatening and there is more fluidity within the team. Moses had another brilliant game, tormented Villa's defence. Hazard picked up the form that many of us saw in the first stages of the season, he was just excellent today and good that he has another goal to his name. I previously stated my contempt towards having Benitez here but I am not going to bare grudges against him when credit is due. Not just the fact that we won 8-0 but his tactical readings of the game is excellent which he needs credit for. I think he realises the team is more balanced when we have Moses and 2 other technical players such as Mata and Hazard. Moses with his pace and power while the other 2 are brilliant technical players so the team balances itself well as shown today and at Sunderland. Also not many people have read into this but Lampard put in another top notch performance. Benitez saw that he started to get a bit tired, what does he do, put on Ramires against an opposition who look bereft of all confidence and then goes on to bag 2 goals. Brilliant managing from Benitez there. Would have liked to see Marin come on but oh well Benitez had different ideas and was justified. Brought on Oscar, 1 penalty, 2 assists, well make that 3 as he set up his own penalty. Ramires came on as already stated and got 2 goals and Piazon made 1 assists, earned another penalty and performed very well. Could not ask for any better, brilliant win. Hope the form continues!
  14. Brilliant Lukaku! The commentator said he has been fantastic all day so he obviously has appreciated his work rate as well. I hope he comes back to be a revelation here. I can easily see him scoring goals here next season for fun!
  15. They beat us 3-1 at the Bridge last season and managed an exceptional result at Anfield last week. There should be no complacency from fans or players.
  16. Can't help but laugh. Vitesse beat some opposition in the cup 10-1. He scored 2 of them
  17. Sturridge not even on the bench. Yep, he definitely gone now.
  18. Really pissed of that we are losing a big English talent. He got into double figures from a position that is not his desired spot but he produced moments of excellence last season. At this stage last season he was in the form of his life, Chelsea fans enjoyed watching him play and he was our best player along with Mata this stage last season. So disappointing. He provided numerous amount of assists as well for those who claim he is selfish. Liverpool's gain is our loss, now they have two of the brightest young English prospects in their attacking lineup in Sturridge and Sterling. DAMN!
  19. I only know him through Football Manager.
  20. They will not mind Hulk and Alves. They come under the category as dark but are not black players if you know what I mean. Witsel is the one who should be on alert. I am sure he was anyway but with the money he was being offered he probably thought he will play in Russia for a few years. I understand teams like Bilbao but Zenit fans like this are a bunch of retards and cowards!
  21. History will have nothing to do with who Cavani goes to. It will be to the one who is in the Champions League or offers most money.
  22. Well with the tragedy of his son, that shattered him badly and he recovered well with his performances on the pitch and I think became more level-headed. He scores nearly every game and disciplinary improving so I guess his attitude is improving. He could turn out to be another Benteke in the prem but I think with more goals.
