Well that is why the Cup is so surprising. The reason why there priority is with the cup is because the managers send out strong teams. Look at Liverpool for instance and us. The managers and players know the cup is important but also know how important it is to the lower teams.

They face determined teams and play good teams for a reason as everyone knows the Cup brings surprises and the lower league teams are always up for it. PL teams always want to ensure they are in the Cup and there is a reason why they lose these games: because they get outfought against more determined players. It is gullable to think some people on here wanted us to play our youth team. I hope people realise how significant the FA Cup is and that it is not a roll over competition and we must treat it with respect. No way. Some of us actually care about the FA Cup and it is a serious competition that I would like to play in and playing junior just underestimates the competition. We are the holders and we can't go in to the game thinking we can win with any team put out. It is right that Rafa takes this game seriously, regardless of how tight our schedule is.

Jimmy Saville has more chance of resurrecting from the dead than George Saville has of playing. Also I highly doubt Ferreira will play. Benitez will not underestimate the cup and is a popular trophy and our most realistic one of winning.

Unfortunately our club rarely looks at it that way, although we should. Well I say unfortunately because I look at the situation of Arsenal and United and see how successful they have been with Wilshere, Song, Welbeck, Cleverley etc and wish we could do the same sometimes. I look at the case of Lukaku and think he will be brilliant if he stays with us next season but whatever happens with him, he can score 30 goals, I still believe we always look for "someone better" if they are their for the taking.
