Lukaku needs regular game time to gain confidence and play well..which he wouldn't get under Rafa..cause Torres is locked in as the #1 striker regardless of his pathetic finishing. I bet if Chelsea brought back Lukaku in January..Rafa would just keep using his pet Torres for 80 minutes in most games...and then he'd bring on Lukaku for the last 10 minutes...which would seriously impact his development.

I doubt Lukaku would be playing well for Chelsea if his loan spell was cut short because of Benitez and his pet Torres.

Lukaku made that second goal. He just kept chasing the ball, forced the error from the Sunderland defender and got a slice of luck with the rebound of Mignolet. Can't wait to see him in a Chelsea jersey, he'll be giving EPL defenders nightmares for years to come!

Well..they gave Bertrand a chance..after he spent close to 5 seasons on loan at various lower league clubs... I don't see why they wouldn't give PvA a chance..maybe we could give a few chances at LW.

I wouldn't mind taking a shot at Kevin Strootman (playing for PSV). He'd be available for around 20 million and he can play CM/DM..even fill in at CAM if needed..

Ramires will thrive in a 3 man midfield..he's just not suited for a 2 man midfield. I would love to see a combination of KDB - Mikel - Ramires with Mata & Hazard supporting Ba/someone else upfront.

Azpi was a steal Hazard & Moses will be awesome players in the near future Unsure on Oscar. Let's see how he develops... Don't see a long term future for Marin...but luckily he only cost a few million.

Didn't Ba break his nose against Newcastle ?..and since that game, he's only played 1 full game..which was the Cup replay against Brentford...

Still don't understand the Di Matteo sacking... I mean we hired Rafa and he's only won 7 out of 14 EPL games in charge... I think Di Matteo would have matched Rafa's current record.

When we rest Mata, just use Oscar in the AM role. Then buy a proper winger who can rotate with Moses and Hazard as a LW/RW.

Not sure about Martinez. Don't like 3-5-2 or 3-4-3...and moving from Wigan to Chelsea is a massive step up.. The other problem would be: Time. If the likes of AvB and RDM can get sacked for a few poor performances...then there is every chance Martinez would get the boot after 2-3 months in charge..
