If Malouda leaves in this transfer window, it will only have a positive effect on the rest of the squad. Would rather see a youngster replacing Malouda on the bench.

Fair enough...but he was the worst player/weakest link out of all the Chelsea players that participated in the UCL final...and he ruined the trophy ceremony. Glad he's gone from the club.

We didn't do that much wrong in signing Musonda...but I guess paying Anderlecht a few thousand euros will sweep this issue under the rug.

I doubt any top club is going to sign Van Der Wiel. His transfer to Valencia fell through and they managed to sign Joao Pereira for half of VDW's price. There were scout reports from the Netherlands that from a young age: Van Der Wiel was good going forward, decent crossing ability, good pace VdW seemed to lose concentration which affected his ability to track back. VdW's positioning is fairly poor, his marking is fairly poor. Conclusion: Sign either Azpi from Marseille OR Debuchy from Lille.

Moutinho. Solid midfielder..would be good for CFC. Only problem is that he plays for FC Porto.

Good point. Personally think Todd Kane isn't ready yet. The kid is only 18, has raw talent but needs more development time. Big gap between reserves and first-team football. I wanna see him impress on a loan spell at a npower Championship club.

Well...Juan Mata was a Real Madrid youth product..played around 30 games for their B team... so you never know, he might return to Madrid someday. As long as he doesn't play for Barcelona, it's all good.

Meh. At the end of the day, I'm just glad Jose Bosingwa & Kalou are no longer Chelsea players. Two of the ugliest players i've seen in a long time.

Ben Arfa history: Had a rift with Benzema at Lyon... Then had a bust-up with Squillaci..which led to him forcing a move to Marseille. Went to Marseille, had a bust-up with Cissé...Cisse went to Sunderland on-loan. Then had a bust-up with M'bami whilst warming up for a UCL game against Liverpool... Then he announced that his relationship with Deschamps was beyond repair...didn't train with Marseille for a number of weeks.. Eventually forced through a loan move to Newcastle. Ben Arfa has a massive ego. His relationship with fellow players can turn sour very quickly....that's something we should be trying to avoid at Chelsea.

Ben Arfa isn't that great. Arsenal can have him..even though they already have Walcott, The Ox, Miyachi on the wings.

If we're not going to play with a proper RW...then Marin, Kevin De Bruyne & Kakuta should be good enough to fill one of the 3 attacking midfielder/winger roles in a 4-2-3-1 formation...hence we don't need Jovetic for 25 million.

Jovetic isn't a natural RW...he'd take time to adjust to the RW role which is something we don't need at the moment. Moses would be a good addition to the squad for the long-term...but we need to sign our starting RW first.

Fair point..but I don't think KdB will be ready for a starting midfield role for another 3 seasons. We either loan him out this season so that he gets game time in a stronger league....or we keep him as backup in midfield and give him 10-15 starts/sub appearances this season.

I'd say that £7m + loan back to Wigan should be enough to get Moses.

Don't think he's capable (Schurrle) of playing the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
