With Swansea in Europe next season, they'll probably be able to attract even more quality players for cheap transfer fees...hence the likelihood of them signing Piazon on loan isn't very high..

I don't know about Swansea...just find him an English club that'll give him a decent run of games...and if none of the PL clubs are interested, send him back to Spain for another year...

I definitely think you're right....I doubt Mourinho would be interested in managing Chelsea in the Europa league.. What are Mourinho other options? Man City if they let go of Mancini...or PSG..but Ancelotti is doing alright with them..

i'm guessing Lukaku and Josh are contacted regularly because they are on loan in England...& I am very surprised that Chelsea aren't paying close attention to KdB...he's the player who could come back next season & make a serious impact.

Josh needs another 2 seasons out on loan...then he might be ready for a rotational role at Chelsea..

Le Fondre can't play the role of lone striker...he needs to play in a 2-striker system. Maybe someone like Aroune Kone if Wigan get relegated?

I'm still unconvinced about Bayern in Europe because...they almost screwed up against a weakened Arsenal team. Complacency will hurt them. Barcelona is still the best team in Europe...even though they aren't favourites for the UCL trophy this season.

I thought we cancelled the Sergio Aguero deal a few years ago... because he wanted close to £225,000 a week. Falcao is a good player but he's not worth £250,000 a week.

It's not ridiculous. Some teams just don't want to play against Barcelona.. I think out of all the Quarter-finalists, only Madrid and Juventus would have caused Barcelona serious problems... Bayern and Dortmund can beat most teams...but over 2 legs, Barcelona would probably be too strong for them..

Exactly. We lack Makelele in the midfield. Mikel's an okay player...but he'll NEVER be on the same level as Makelele. In terms of a terrier in midfield...maybe someone like Capoué of the French national team....who can play DM/CM...and also put in a decent shift at CB..

The issue is, after a 6-month layoff due to a serious injury...he might take a long time to regain the fitness and confidence required to control the midfield of a top side...

C'mon Chelsea, Lazio and Benfica. Hopefully Spurs progress over Basel..the more games they play, the better for us...maybe an injury or two..
