Maybe nobody wants to pay Chelsea's asking price for Mikel? He'll never be world-class but he's a useful player.

Luiz needs a leader alongside him so that he can play well on a consistent basis... And as for Cahill, he wouldn't be the starting CB for any title-chasing club.

Regardless of Mikel's performance today, he's still an average player. We need to solve our CM/DM problem for next season whilst Romeu gets match fit and Chalobah/Ake keep learning and improving on loan...

Really? Ba at least tried to win headers.. however he did have a bad game overall.. As for Torres, when he came on, I bet the United defenders breathed a sigh a relief.

Didn't really see much of Lampard in the first half... Good substitution by Benitez, take off the ineffectual Lampard, bring on a DM and give Ramires more freedom.

If we handle their development properly, Chelsea has a very bright future.... However..if we stuff up their development by making them sit on the bench or sending them to the wrong club on loan, then our future isn't so bright...

Overall good second half performance. Hazard was the game changer, Luiz's energy and work-rate was awesome, Ramires just keeps running.. I still think we lack that controlling midfielder (Modric, Moutinho..Strootman)...once we fix that up, a few of our problems will be solved...

Exactly. City have strikers that can play multiple positions (eg. Aguero, Tevez) United have strikers that can play multiple positions (eg. Rooney, Welbeck, RvP) At Chelsea, we don't have that...Fernando is just past it...and Ba is only effective through the middle. We need that Anelka type of player..someone that can play CF/SS as well as slot him on the wings when required...

I want Lukaku back at Chelsea, provided that we have the right man in the dugout.

I'd pay a tenth of that, just for Hazard. Torres is just useless & the fact that Benayoun celebrated Arsenal's 5-3 win at the Bridge last season says alot about how much he cares for Chelsea.

Well..I don't think any of the players look motivated under Rafa's management.. We've only had 2 solid displays under Rafa...that 8-0 win against Villa...and the recent win against West Brom. Nearly every other game...we've had patches of good play..and then patches of comedy football where our defence & midfield just look utterly clueless...

To be honest, I see Hazard's long term future at another club (eg. Real Madrid). Hopefully we employ the right manager at the end of this season.

Maybe the problem is that Bertrand simply isn't good enough to play week in week out for a club in UCL contention? I think Bertrand would thrive at a decent Championship level club where he doesn't feel pressurized..

The players should be motivated by Jose's comments. They'll go into the next UCL match wanting to show an improved performance over 2 legs. Also, I just don't see Jose managing United anytime soon....

Chalobah is a huge prospect. Hopefully our next manager does the right thing in terms of his development... I see him as Chelsea's future captain!
