He could be a great option off the bench or simply used as a rotation option, but I'd be interested to see how he'd do alongside a proper DM like Khedira where he had more freedom to express his attacking instincts. He was a beast as a youngster when he was more like a Toure-esque player and I've always felt his conversion to a Makelele-type player was misguided by Mourinho.
The only problem is whether he'd be able to muster the enthusiasm to play more of a bit-part role. If he can't then we ship him on and replace him in the squad with Chalobah or even Loftus-Cheek a little further down the line.

As much as Torres has improved, let's not suddenly start thinking about keeping him again. If you look at the games he has played since the improvement, it's been against Rubin Kazan(x2), Fulham, Sunderland and Man City. 4 of them were average oppositions. It's only that 1 City game where he was maybe decent. Otherwise, his good performances have been against poor teams, which has been the same whenever we play such teams since he joined us and it's nothing big to shout about either as it goes along with his goalscoring record of mostly scoring against rubbish oppositions.

Never spoke of selling Mikel. Squad player at best next season along with Romeu and Ake.
