Well one thing to consider for Mourinho. Simeone has assembled a great team with less then 50 million. So if Simeone can find value in the market, Mourinho should too this summer. Don't want to hear come next season we didn't had enough funds. That's no excuse if coaches like Klopp and Simeone are building winning teams with far less budget. So find your men, bring them this summer and let's go.

So what's the deal with the new contract?

Bony seems like an upgrade to Ba.

Uhmm you got one thing wrong, and he said at how he really wanted a player like ramires. And I think he still likes him because of his stamina. So we shall see what he does this summer. One thing is for sure he will have no excuse if come next season he still using ramires......
-
Yeah we have left far too much work for him. It was better when we had Mata, but then we change everything to be a team that presses is more aggressive and is fast on the counter. Hence why Oscar was chosen ahead of Mata. Sold Mata but Oscar has now dropped off the map.... Either Mourinho has a good plan this summer to fix our creativity or he fucked it up by marginalizing Mata. Only time will tell and next season will show us the true colors of this team and Mourinho.

Well that's a defeat that is very easy to digest. Often times we have been outdone by a bad call from a ref or last minute mistake. Here the best team won hands down. And we got nothing else to do but congratulate them and for us to analyse the season and fix the problems that have been a recurring theme.
-
It's a success cause at the beginning of the season most of us asked a top 3 with a Quarter/semis cl. Objective reach. Next season is when we need to challenge for all. If next season we are in the same shit, like can't attack for shit then that will be a massive failure and Mourinho would have lost it. But until we have not started next season, the team, the manager still deserved their shot for a second season.
-
True, no creativity...we sold two creative player, one is nowhere to be seen. And we can't really string two passes together. Let's see how Mourinho fix these problems this summer. Can't go two seasons with this same conundrum.

I still think his a top manager despite this game. Just like I still think Pep is a top manager despite their game against Real. One isolated game does not make the difference, you have to look at the whole season and noticed if there's progress. Chelsea for me has been a great progress. But there's two points that I need to say. One we have no creativity. At the beginning of the season we had Mata, KDB and Oscar. Sold two of them, and the other is now nowhere to be seen. What the hell happened? Does Mourinho does not like creative players? If not, what is he going to do for that spark in creativity? And second, I hate this shit that we can't create two passes straight. We are so shit in passing that is borderline insanity. Atletico is also a defensive counter attacking team, but they play great as a unit and string great passes. This is something Mourinho has to work in our team. I'm excited for the summer cause I expect Mourinho to make the right changes and make us competitive from the go next season. However if come next season we are still shit, then we will have to worry about Mourinho. But until that happens I'm still hopeful that we will do good next season.
-
We have spent a lot of money already. Can't go changing the whole team now. Look at Atlético done with far lesser budget then us. We had Mata and kdb. Sold them to keep using Oscar and he is nowhere around. So there's something wrong with that picture.

Cheated? Seriously? We sucked ass today!
-
No he doesn't, he just like to bash our team and manager all the time.
-
Interesting, he is not bad and if we get him for a good price I will say good business. Let's see if this story has any legs, or just a BS rumor made up.
-
Okay if you say so. I then expect a very open game. :-)
-
So if we go to penalties, it will be Courtois vs Schwarzer. I know Courtois is good, but in this one I will back the experience of Schwarzer to do the job for us. Lets just hope the bad luck with Mourinho team that tend to lose in penalties does not affect us this time.
-
Yeah that's true. It will cost too much with banning, as there would be court actions and all that shenanigans. This idea is more practical, cause the clubs will accept that much easier then anything else. Fine, club reduction, no problem!

City and PSG facing squad sanctions for FFP breaches Manchester City and Paris St Germain are expected to have financial restrictions imposed on their squads for next season's Champions League after breaching UEFA's spending rules. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-city-psg-facing-squad-sanctions-115832312--sow.html

I would say yes, but you have to acknowledge that Carlo is more attack minded then Mourinho. The same team that Mourinho built at Chelsea, was very tough and rigid. When Carlo came we play some amazing stuff. Now the same at Real Madrid, the wheels has come of. However when it comes to tactics vs tactics, Mourinho wins straight out. You see what he did to us against Inter.
-
You guys seeing the press conference from Mourinho?
-
In Spanish but funny. :-)

I love Ashley glittering gold chains.

I'm sure Pelle did not like the sound of that. Well if they start fighting I don't mind bringing Zabaleta over to our team.

City, PSG breach FFP rules, offered settlements UEFA's club financial control board (CFBCB) has made offers to all the clubs deemed to have breached the rules ahead of its meeting on Thursday. The clubs - understood to be fewer than 20 in total and including Manchester City and PSG - can either accept the offer of the sanctions, which could range from a reprimand to a fine up to restrictions on the squad for European competition next season, or try to negotiate a lesser punishment. If no agreement is reached, then the outstanding cases will go to an adjudicatory panel for a final decision. It is not known what settlements each individual club has been offered but UEFA could reveal the outcomes as early as Friday. The most powerful sanction, that of being excluded from European competition, is not expected to be used against any of the clubs. UEFA and Manchester City both would not comment but City boss Manuel Pellegrini said last week there had never been any concern that the club would be excluded from the Champions League for breaching FFP rules. City have been working closely with UEFA to try to ensure they comply with spending rules, which limit losses to 45million euros over the last two years. Pellegrini said: "I felt here inside the club nobody feared we could be suspended for next year." UEFA president Michel Platini said in a French newspaper last week he did not think any of the clubs who breached rules will be banned from European competition next season. Qatar-owned PSG have been the club under most scrutiny after they wiped out their losses with a huge and back-dated sponsorship deal with the Qatar Tourist Authority. Platini said he was unsure if that "innovative" sponsorship deal with a related party played by the rules. He said: "I will say simply that Paris St Germain's financial model is distinctive and atypical. That image contract with the QTA, the tourism office of Qatar, is innovative, that's all I can say. "But is it viable? Is the value of the contract correct? These are questions that the experts must decide." https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-city-psg-breach-ffp-rules-183417466--sow.html
