You don't have all day yet you respond to my comment above.....

Best point of the night. It's always good to improve from season before. When you are on a high and you have one bad season, you hope it's a minor pullback. But for a team that wants to go places this is a healthy sign.

It's cool. Anyhow as I said, it's foolish to link something that happen a decade ago to today. The same players of a decade ago, are not the same players of today. The same tactics of a decade ago, are not the same tactics of today. Time changes, and those who are good adopt, those that are stubborn go the way of the dinosaurs and Wenger!
-
As it is writing, when you have nothing better to say, just correct their grammar.
-
Why people keep on bringing something that happened over a decade ago? Shit then if we keep that up, Wenger is still a beast for what he did in the past.... Sometimes the tactic that work yesteryear's does not work today, and coaches has to evolve. This is why stubborn managers like Wenger fall of their perch.

The truth was that it was mistranslated. Done and dusted. No need to add fuel to the fire.
-
I see your point, but is there a need to come out like that in public then do it behind close doors? Now to wait and see what Hazard thinks. Weather he says fuck it i'm of to Paris, or stay and work on what Mourinho says. Will see, but all this mess would have been best avoided if he kept if behind doors like it's suppose to be.
-
I will say it, Mourinho you screwed up here. You did it good by saying it was mistranslated quote, but you don't thrown your player down like that in public. Never, ever ever! Do it behind doors for crying out loud! Now the PSG saga will be unending, sigh.

I thought we was buying young players? I still rather buy Shaw then him.
-
I think your just hating men. Matic is a real beast, almost any person can see that. Your a big weirdo. Sometimes you make some spot on spot, other times I'm lost.

The entire squad of Atletico cost less then Torres himself. So there's value out there, just that our managers, our boards and scout not as good as say Atletico or Dortmund from over the last year. I mean, how the hell Atletico manages to get top strikers after top strikers?
-
Ramires is good to have in the bench and sub him in to close the game and such. But to be a starter of an elite team, no.

The best we played was under RDM, altough we was exposed at the back. It was a pity they sack him so early. I'm never in favor of sacking manager so soon. There's a couple that should have never happened. After Mourinho left, Avram was just a temp. Okay he did his job and left. No problem there. Scolari....worst appointment ever under Roman. Did great with Hiddink, wish had he stayed but didn't so move on. Carlo was dead on the money. A good manager that brought nice balance to our team. The whole second season was a disaster that came after letting go a lot of players and having a thin squad with a lot of young players.....sounds similar to this season, with a couple of exception. Firing him after one good and one bad season was just ludicrous. And more ludicrous was spending money to get AVB. Second worst mistake in the Roman era. After that RDM should have continue but Roman is something. Benitez came in as temp and did good. But in all of this, the craziness of sacking manager has made our club really unstable. I'm glad that Mourinho would continue a second season. As for a manager it's hard to build a team in less then one season. Usually takes 2 to 3 seasons. If in those 2 to 3 season there is really no progress then you move on. You did everything you could to back the manager.
-
The side of two extremes. One to defend everything that Mourinho does, another to criticize everything Mourinho does. Shouldn't have played, should have played, it's all his fault and yati yati ya. The truth is, that he is still the best player in our team and we took a gamble. Was not match ready, as his sharpness was not there and it cost us.

After the whole Torres thing, I never want to hear this bullshit ever again!

This is what I call success:

Well one thing to consider for Mourinho. Simeone has assembled a great team with less then 50 million. So if Simeone can find value in the market, Mourinho should too this summer. Don't want to hear come next season we didn't had enough funds. That's no excuse if coaches like Klopp and Simeone are building winning teams with far less budget. So find your men, bring them this summer and let's go.
-
So what's the deal with the new contract?
-
Bony seems like an upgrade to Ba.
-
Uhmm you got one thing wrong, and he said at how he really wanted a player like ramires. And I think he still likes him because of his stamina. So we shall see what he does this summer. One thing is for sure he will have no excuse if come next season he still using ramires......
-
Yeah we have left far too much work for him. It was better when we had Mata, but then we change everything to be a team that presses is more aggressive and is fast on the counter. Hence why Oscar was chosen ahead of Mata. Sold Mata but Oscar has now dropped off the map.... Either Mourinho has a good plan this summer to fix our creativity or he fucked it up by marginalizing Mata. Only time will tell and next season will show us the true colors of this team and Mourinho.
-
Well that's a defeat that is very easy to digest. Often times we have been outdone by a bad call from a ref or last minute mistake. Here the best team won hands down. And we got nothing else to do but congratulate them and for us to analyse the season and fix the problems that have been a recurring theme.
-
It's a success cause at the beginning of the season most of us asked a top 3 with a Quarter/semis cl. Objective reach. Next season is when we need to challenge for all. If next season we are in the same shit, like can't attack for shit then that will be a massive failure and Mourinho would have lost it. But until we have not started next season, the team, the manager still deserved their shot for a second season.
-
True, no creativity...we sold two creative player, one is nowhere to be seen. And we can't really string two passes together. Let's see how Mourinho fix these problems this summer. Can't go two seasons with this same conundrum.
-
I still think his a top manager despite this game. Just like I still think Pep is a top manager despite their game against Real. One isolated game does not make the difference, you have to look at the whole season and noticed if there's progress. Chelsea for me has been a great progress. But there's two points that I need to say. One we have no creativity. At the beginning of the season we had Mata, KDB and Oscar. Sold two of them, and the other is now nowhere to be seen. What the hell happened? Does Mourinho does not like creative players? If not, what is he going to do for that spark in creativity? And second, I hate this shit that we can't create two passes straight. We are so shit in passing that is borderline insanity. Atletico is also a defensive counter attacking team, but they play great as a unit and string great passes. This is something Mourinho has to work in our team. I'm excited for the summer cause I expect Mourinho to make the right changes and make us competitive from the go next season. However if come next season we are still shit, then we will have to worry about Mourinho. But until that happens I'm still hopeful that we will do good next season.
