  1. That would be a good shout, but I think that will depend if they keep pochetino and he don't go to Tottenham.
  2. I do feel the same like he will be a pleasant surprise. The thing I'm trying to wrap my head is that levy would want to do business with us after the whole Willian thing. I say between 15 to 20 million would be a reasonable price. If those fools try to hustle us I'm afraid the club will look elsewhere.
  3. 30 million for Shaw? Damn this is getting out of hand. No wonder no one wants to buy English player, it's just an extortion!
  4. I don't see where the whole Dzeko to Chelsea is coming. Just cause mourinho praise him doesn't mean anything. For me a team like city would not do business with a team like Chelsea and vice versa. Sturridge being the exception but that was because he was a raw talent back then.
  5. What about a loan to say Everton? You guys think that's too soon? Maybe we can loan him to Benfica? Perhaps he comes back good like Matic.
  6. No not only ever criticizing him, is analyzing thing and debating which is healthy in its way. The problem here is that there's two side of the coins. At one aspect you have people like @The only place to be, that take one side of the extreme coin. Everyone who doesn't' agree with him is not a "Chelsea supporter" Then there's the other side of the coin that everything Mourinho does from day one is seen as negative light. I don't agree with both extremes, I'm somewhere in the middle. What I don't like is the constant I am holy then thou are attitude. This is such a childish attitude. Have a conversation, or debate like normal adults, just don't behave like kids!
  7. Okay I'll take it as result problem for the season. Next season we can discuss if indeed this was the case throughout the season.
  8. True but you who analyze mourinho so much, like with the style of clothes he wears you must clearly see this. The difference in character of mourinho 04 to mourinho 14.
  9. Similar to the one of Porto vs United right? Well not really, as that was a euphoric run, this one a more calculated to give instructions. Cheeky from mourinho you have to say! :-P For me the best illustration is simeone. The passion and drive the man shows is similar to that of mourinho a decade ago.
  10. Is not a theory just a comparison of mourinho the men a decade ago with Chelsea to mourinho then men today. Does look more jaded and at times unenthusiastic as before. I think he should have taken a sabbatical like pep to rejuvenate his mind.
  11. It's not just Wenger but Benitez. Was good at Valencia and after a couple of years was just a shadow of his former self. Capello is another. Awesome in their time but that any manager can last a long time like saf is an anomaly. Is just human nature, we don't like the same shit and have the same passion as we did 10 years ago.... Well not everyone as I would be generalizing but in average.
  12. This is the same thing Arsenal fans say about Wenger. Fact is that managers don't stay the same. They lose the passion and hunger they once had when they was young. Mourinho said judge him by the work he does recently not a decade ago, fair enough. This season was a decent one, not a blockbuster. But he also said next season we would be better. A regression from what was this season, and you have to think that Mourinho is not the same man of a decade ago. We shall see how the new season pans out.
  13. Totally agree but it's their lack of inconsistencies that drives people mad. Like you discipline Ramires for a rash challenge, fine I have no problems with that. But Yaya did it and they let it slide....
  14. It's not pointless, the FA do what they can do in their power. The media is out of their jurisdiction. My gripe with them is that they are not consistent.
  15. What about the media? Is the FA able to control them and fine then and all that?
  16. Dude I'll say this politely, sometimes you need to back off! You sound like your the authority here! Cause as far as I see there's good case for Paulinho and some very bad case against him. If you no longer have a good case then stop and don't say more, instead of calling out people as not "supporters"
  17. You had me till you said that Paulinho is a potential upgrade to David Luiz....
  18. At the South Street Seaport, NYC with my girlfriend
  19. Is he ready enough to come back to Chelsea in the new season? Or will it be a case of too soon like KDB?
  20. It seems like every striker A. Madrid buys is a hit. Maybe we should steal their targets!
  21. Totally agree. Although if we get rid of David Luiz, Mikel, Lamp doesn't really come into the equation since he's on his last we will be left with Ramires and Matic. Don't want to count Van Ginkel yet, because it's like Kalas. Might have some promises, but Mourinho might not trust him. So that's a wild card to put your eggs in. Paulinho would be a decent addition but we would still need another CM. Unless we promote from within.
  22. Lamps should not even be in this equation anymore. Ramires why does Mourinho like him so much? He offers nothing to our attack. At least DL offers more. So it will be dumb to get rid of David Luiz, if players like Mikel and Ramires are still here. I said it before, it's only good business if we use the money to buy someone better. Or if we promote from within, but I'm not holding my breath for that. Many managers have come and go promising to promote youth.
  23. How long does it last for the one hot seat before moving to another?
  24. So was Benitez..... That's why they brought him here for!
