I have a question and want to know your guys thought. Mourinho has been successful in the past by using his style that was trade mark mourinho. Now simeone is following in that footsteps and mourinho is trying to be more attack minded. You guys think it will go good in the long run for mourinho this style of more attack minded? Or he's best to go back the simple way of winning that has brought him so much success?

I'm watching this game. Did not like Torres when he was here, but I wish him the best. Hopefully he can have a respectable campaign in Atletico then the dead beat he was for us.

Jose can say what ever he wants. He is a clown at time talking and you be a fool for taking every word he says as the gospel. The fact is that Chelsea was the biggest pusher for this FFP. We wanted it more then any other team and we want it to work. Despite what people say about City and PSG spending, they have been controlled. UEFA has imposed a limit and they have obey. So it's starting to work. As per Real Madrid, United and such well that was known before. Again Chelsea agreed to this, that only you can spend your revenue. So if your revenue is big you can spend just as long you don't produce a lose.

If FFP is a joke, then why Chelsea was the biggest backer of it when making the rules? That means Chelsea is a joke as well?

Where have they spend a lot of money since the summer? Look at the figures. Net spend should not be over a certain amount. I think they fall around the 50 million that UEFA cap them at.

Do you even know the sanctions they have? They can spend but cannot go over a certain amount. If I'm not mistaken, UEFA has allowed them to spend around 50 million.

But did you forget in the summer? That they spend so and so sums and then could no longer? Likewise PSG. Otherwise they would have gone for Sanchez and Di Maria. They can still continue to spend, but it's not like the level that it was nor like what United did this summer.

And one thing of importance, Ramires has been half of the season on the sidelines. So if he stays fit and get back into shape he will have a lot of energy for the remainder of the season. And boy we will need him for those CL matches and such. Good timing for Ramires to be back. Anyways back to Varane. Didn't he just signed a new contract? But then again Suarez also signed a new contract with Liverpool and then left this summer....

Ridicules, why would they get fined for finding a loophole? If anything it just shows that FFP needs some amendments. As is with any starting regulation it never is perfect and will be improvise over time. City have done everything legal, but if UEFA cares about this issue they will amend their FFP regulations on such issues. If not, then City will use it to their advantage. So the balls are in UEFA courts really.

You noticed what he said about the keepers? Ironically it's what some Chelsea fans say as well about keepers having the games of their life against us...... I think with the striker we are okay for now. If city can pass by with no strikers fit why can't we? The defense you have always been right and something I agreed from the beginning. In fact I'm baffled that mourinho never really solved this problem in the first place, since mourinho always construct his team from the back. I guess he wanted to take a different approach this time? And totally wrong about Matic. There's no better DM in the world at the moment. Matic is a beast and has made our team look amazing, especially the defense part. Yesterday he was not on top form and the defense gets tear apart. Part fault Matic but even greater fault from defense in being that slow and average. We got world class players in every department except in defense with the exception of azpi.....

The lack of rotation shows one thing. Those that we got to rotate are awful. Mikel, Salah, schurrle are nowhere near good enough. Should be moved for either younger players.... Which mourinho at the moment shows no hint of doing, or just buy better players and sell these.

I think today downfall had a lot to do with Matic not being his usual. A sub-par Matic exposed our weak link in the defense. Thus I'm glad this happen now in the January transfer window so to see if we can buy anything.

Pace really killed us. Apart from Azpi who was good, our defenders are too slow for that type of game. Blueprint for other teams to beat us now, unless Mourinho does something with the defense.

Well we needed a scapegoat for today! But it's not his fault that the manager keeps picking him. I mean really Mourinho, why you kept up with an average defender?

Results suck but good that this happen so that hopefully Mourinho realizes how weak our defense is. I'm still surprised Mourinho thought Cahill was good enough for the entire season......
