I think with the striker we are okay for now. If city can pass by with no strikers fit why can't we? The defense you have always been right and something I agreed from the beginning. In fact I'm baffled that mourinho never really solved this problem in the first place, since mourinho always construct his team from the back. I guess he wanted to take a different approach this time? And totally wrong about Matic. There's no better DM in the world at the moment. Matic is a beast and has made our team look amazing, especially the defense part. Yesterday he was not on top form and the defense gets tear apart. Part fault Matic but even greater fault from defense in being that slow and average. We got world class players in every department except in defense with the exception of azpi.....

I'm disappointed and a bit mad, but truth be told I sure do miss him though. He would have been awesome to have today as a super sub.

The lack of rotation shows one thing. Those that we got to rotate are awful. Mikel, Salah, schurrle are nowhere near good enough. Should be moved for either younger players.... Which mourinho at the moment shows no hint of doing, or just buy better players and sell these.

I think today downfall had a lot to do with Matic not being his usual. A sub-par Matic exposed our weak link in the defense. Thus I'm glad this happen now in the January transfer window so to see if we can buy anything.

Pace really killed us. Apart from Azpi who was good, our defenders are too slow for that type of game. Blueprint for other teams to beat us now, unless Mourinho does something with the defense.

A LB not a CB. And no, it was foolish not to buy another defender after David Luiz. One in and one out is the rule. The signs was there for everyone to see but not many wanted to see it till now.....

When we sold David luiz he had to buy a defender. To me this is nothing surprising about our defense as is something I been saying for a while. I'm just surprised that mourinho thought that was good enough.....

Needs to get a better a defender. He screwed up by selling David luiz and not buying a defender. Cahill was always average and relying on him is his mistake. Now if he plans to use zouma then why use cahill? And our subs are horrible, schurrle and Salah need to be sold and get some better players.

This is a good beating and right on time for the January transfer window. Let's see if it gives some food for thought. I remember mourinho being the master of January transfer window and I want to see if he will dip in. We need a better defender then poor cahill. Well that's true. A mid of Hazard, Matic, Sanchez and Fabregas would not be of great balance. That's why you don't play with 2 strikers, and I would choose Aguero over Costa. And put Fabregas in for Costa. Now that would be a well balanced and build team.

hehehe I remember how many hated him because of his personality. He was like a Mourinho talking nonsense against us. To be fair I was in the same camp with some players until I was humiliated by Torres. Since then I don't care how jerk the guy is. Even if he bites players like Suarez. As long as they good they are alright in my book. Especially the passion is what counts more.

Definitely would be a great buy for our mid. We can even try to buy this January as he can play in the CL!
