  1. He is never going to be dropped! Although to be fair I thought baba was not ready for the game today so Ivan was the default choice.
  2. Don't be such a Buzz Killington! I enjoy the witty humor they have for the name threads and avatars. Like they had the picture of Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite for this guy. Then they had picture of actual small stones for John stones. And now they have the picture of a Coca Cola drink for Koke!
  3. Still got Falcao. I think it can work out with him. Mourinho recently was contemplating playing up 2 strikers.
  4. You guys getting all worked up over some unreliable sources. Still yet to see anything on skysports that we even tried to sign him.
  5. I still rate Mourinho highly just that I said it before that he is not good for youth. Some of you try to bring that down my throat just because of varane..... Tomo would always bring something ridiculous like oh he gave time to Hut and such. But the point is to give sustainable time not just one game and that's it. Kinda like with kalas. He is great manager but just need to face the facts. He is not good for youth or amazing attacking Fútbol. Last first half of the season was more like an anomaly because Mourinho will always favor the pragmatic approach in bigger games. And that's okay as long as we continue to win, remain competitive and the hierarchy are fine with such display.
  6. 50 mill for Sterling, 70 mill for Pogba it is insane. But if that's the market and it won't go down then just adding another 20 to get something way better then Sterling is good.
  7. Something interesting here: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9960211/jose-mourinho-is-not-happy-at-all-about-chelseas-stuttering-start But Mourinho said Terry was withdrawn due to his lack of pace and on Friday the manager said that he may utilise quicker defenders and different formations more often. "When you have strikers like we have, why not play with two strikers?" he said. "When you have fast people like (Kurt) Zouma, (Cesar) Azpilicueta, why not play with three defenders? "And now we are having time to do that because we have a week between games, so we are thinking about that."
  8. Not for me. Have not Di Marzio been way of in other things in the past? Skysports is like the only reliable source that I tend to trust.
  9. That's if the story is true at all. Still not seen nothing on Skysport.
  10. Interesting stuff. Still I'm very excited because the competition going to be tougher with this City having Sterling, KDB and Otamendi in their team. Last season was so boring with no one really giving us a go.
  11. Yeah it can be seem as a bit dodgy, but I'm holding my reservation with the FFP being relaxed and the money being pour in by the TV deals. I think what I'm seeing here is more of envy from our fans that they are spending more and we are not.
  12. Well the third season just started. Look at what time Zouma came to the fray last season? So let's not be so quick to judge. I really think between this season towards the 5 fith season is where we should see some progress....the word is should.
  13. Well I think it's clear why Pedro choose us over United. Is not like we are something great above United. It has to do with lifestyle and management and Mourinho plays a big part of that. One of the reason why United was so successful was not because of the "United" allure, but because of SAF. Same can be said of Mourinho. It would be great for once if he stays for us beyond 5 years, but I'm having reservation. His way of handling things at times can be chaotic, but if the club is willing to turn a deaf ear to such things and see the value this manager brings, then long term can be a possibility. But all depends on how the hierarchy continue to act towards Mourinho shenanigans and weather his lack of youth integration means anything to them......
  14. I like this buy. Just as long as he plays on the RW a consistent amount of game he should be an improvement to Cuadrado and Willian. I see a Damien Duff in him.
  15. Manchester City closing in on Wolfsburg's Kevin de Bruyne http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/9957741/manchester-city-closing-in-on-wolfsburgs-kevin-de-bruyne Good good, this is going to be a proper challenge for us now.
  16. Meh one guy don't make the difference. I seen a lot more United fans acting like the fans here blaming the board.
  17. From what I seen from the United fans they are like us blaming the coach and the board for letting Otamendi and Pedro go. Not like oh we didn't need him delusional type thinking like Liverpool fans do.
  18. Been thinking since Fabregas is a flop in big games, Oscar takes his spot? He will provide the creativity and will help with the pressing.
  19. He can also be to us what Damian Duff was. That of course if he is a starter and not a bench player....
  20. Not really they are more like us and blaming their board member, Woodward!
  21. I'm in the middle with this. I think it would be a great transfer only if he is a starter.
  22. For the amount it's dumb we didn't went for Shaw last season then. If we got Stone, we would have Shaw and Stone as England defenders.... Dumb move to go for Luis and then not use him much. People talk up big about the great transfer Mourinho made, but forget about the "other ones". it's a very hit and miss approach so far from Mourinho and the board at best.
  23. The only good thing about that article was this: "though the manager will consider removing Ivanovic from the firing line. The Serbia defender had suffered a torrid afternoon against Swansea City’s Jefferson Montero on the opening day, and was just as error-prone at the Etihad Stadium." Hopefully this is true...
