This is what I was telling people Wednesday, one game does not make a trend.

If we get 50+ on the contrary that would be amazing! What we don't want is a Kalas type of case. That just because he starts one important game it's the best thing ever. Nope one game a lone don't do it. Needs to be continued with follow up games. Just like you used to bring cases about in the past about young players being giving chances like Huth, and I don't know who else but never amount to much.... Again one game does not make a trend. We need to see consistency my friend.

I think at the end of the day what matters is what the owner and board think. Because as far as for me I have no doubts we will bounce back. Yesterday was a good sign. But after recovering and finishing the season and having evaluate 3 seasons I can come to the conclusion that he should go. Because he brings nothing new that we cannot get from some other manager less controversial and better attacking style. However if the board and the owner are okay with this and back him even in bad times like Arsenal does with Wenger then that's even better. Why? Because they have finally settle on a philosophy they want and are willing to give room for mistake. Even though we make fun of Wenger, that is the reality. For a team like us top 4 should always be the minimum even in a bad season. If we don't win the PL then at least top 4.

Was reading what Mourinho said and mentioned how we must pick right moments to play rlc.... Don't know what to make of it. But I state my case. One game does not make a trend. Needs to show continuity and sustainable game time for development. Let's see what is the case after another 5 games or so.

I'm cautiously optimistic. My analysis is based on a series of games not just one.

If Mourinho can be patient with him the way he was with Ivanovic he would develop good. But if after one bad game Mourinho reneges him to the reserve, he will not make it. Needs to be very patient and give so much time like he did with Ivan.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. One day does not makes a trend. Needs to be sustain in the coming games.

Said it before only way is by sustaining game time. Not one game here and there. Sustainable time is the key to youth progress.

No what the owner and board think it what matters most. I know we will bounce back and do okay, maybe even good. But I would still say to get a different manager afterwards regardless how we end. But if the board is okay with the fubtol we play, his controversy and all that stuff then good. If they are going to stick by like Arsenal does with Wenger then good.

Yeah I remember saying from the beginning I can't take this City serious since they always fall apart later down the road and do bad in the CL. But we are making it easy in the PL by being so sucky!

Yes but if we are going to put up with bad season I would at least like to see good Fútbol or the intention of improvement, some youth development and someone not as controversial. For the 3 seasons we are having with Mourinho it can easily be done by someone like pellegrini or klopp without all that noise. Nothing this guy has done cannot be match by someone else.

Well turn it around to make top 4, have a good run in the CL and maybe win some small trophy like FA Cup and such. That would be an okay season. Would be amazing if we have one young player get a lot of playing time like RLC and such.

For the record I believe we will turn around and probably the end won't be as bad. However I seen enough to come to the realization that he is not a manager to keep for a long time. The whole 4 year extension is just ludicrous. He can't play attractive Fútbol. He is best with his 18 century Fútbol. Can't bring youth. He rather have patience on older player then younger players. And he's is too much of a controversy to make it worth it. We can do better with a much better attacking philosophy and youth development then this man.

Good point stats. While I'm not a big fan of lukaku I can definitely see the hypocrisy of Mourinho with players. See I could care less about being hypocrite in the TV against teams and such but not your players. Can't have preferred treatment and treat other worse.

I actually thought we was improving with Benitez towards the end of the season. And then we thought Mourinho was supposed to be better then him just to realize his no better..... Benitez is not the best coach out there but there was some nice progress at the end of the season and that is what matters most. So if we was able to do that with someone like Benitez then I'm sure it can be done with someone that like attractive futbol and youth.
