Well people can't have it both way. We can't buy new players and then expect to give chance to younger players. It just doesn't work that way. One season you have to take a stand and it has to be this season after winning the PL last season. It's a gamble worth taking. Just as long as we stick to that idea till the end of the season. Not just try the young player in one game or one "big important game" and think that is enough...... Sustain game time is the key as we have seen for a player like KDB.
People are ridiculous freaking out over a pre season match. I didn't even watch it and even after looking at the score I didn't care. Because you know what? Pre season means nothing. It's just there to help your players get in shape. A training session nothing more.
Maybe we are going to give a shot to young and fringe players as this article puts it:http://www.espnfc.us/club/chelsea/363/blog/post/2531871/chelsea-will-rely-on-youth-and-fringe-without-more-signings I have no problem with this just as long we do give them a sustained period. Meaning not just give them one game here and there and that's that. If we don't that and spend most of the time with the same eleven with little rotation then it will cost us.
Yeah I also don't care if he goes to City. In fact I rather see him there to see what's he is all about. Make us regret that we sold him would be good for us. It would make us think twice before selling a player. If not he will just turn out to be another of those players that do well in Bundesliga but bad in EPL....
I will not mind finishing second only if we gamble on youth. I mean giving them a real go like traore, rlc and such. Not just one game here and there and nothing sustained. Other then that, I expect us to win it again it this season.
I still think the buy it's worth it. If we don't win the tittle I will still prefer City over United. Nobody cares if City wins. United is too powerful and the more market share Chelsea and City take away the better.
I like this buy if it's true. However he will need half a season to get his game like Willian. Needs to adjust from the lower league level that is Russia to hear. So don't expect him to be any good for the first couple of months.
Pedro in talks with Barcelona manager Luis Enrique amid Chelsea interest • ‘It will be his personal decision,’ says Luis Enrique • Blues could be ready to trigger £21.4m buyout clause http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/14/pedro-barcelona-luis-enrique Looks like it has potential.
Dude do you even consider things before putting such things? Do you consider that everyone in the PL are getting massive injection of money because of TV deals? City still don't make a lot of money like United but still something. And with FFP ease it means they can spend a bit more not crazy overboard and have a negative 100 million of loss in their reporting statement. They will not do what they did years ago of spending 150 million with hardly no income coming in. It still be control relative to a break even area, and I assumed selling of players would also help with this.
Well if Mourinho does indeed looks to gamble on Bamford I will take it any day of the week. Don't know much about Traore, but I think Bamford deserves a shot with us. No matter if it turns out to be a total flop we need to take a chance with our youth!
Who cares about his attitude. As long as he joins us all this would be music to our ears! Liverpool will either stand by him like they did with Suarez or sell him at a lower price they demand.
