  1. Meh just like how Mourinho was supposed to dominate for years to come with Chelsea. Boring! If but now you have not learned then you will never learn. The pl is changing rapidly that even the elite clubs are having a tough time. I wouldn't be surprised that if next season everyone is all about pep and Mourinho that some other team does good. Like it has been this season with Leicester and Spurs.
  2. That was pretty funny I must admit. And the outrage by some made it even more hilarious. Ah never a dull moment in our club. ?
  3. It was because of Mourinho shadow more then anything. He had left such a legacy that it was too hard to pass by. But after this stint the club can lift up and move on from that shadow and go and create whatever they desire. As we won't have to look back and wonder what if. What if we gave Mourinho a second chance? Now we know and everyone can move on.
  4. I still remember saying at the beginning of the season that I would have been happy with second or third this season just as long as we play youth. We just didn't do that and he actually created instability with the whole Eva shenanigans.... As said before genius in short term but can't do it past 3 seasons. His attitude is not good for a squad long term. And if people are happy with his 3 years time then fine he's your man. But I really think the club wants to go beyond the 3 year revolving doors.
  5. Still no excuse to be one point above relegation zone. And heck tottenham and Leicester doing fine without spending too much. He can cry all he wants. If he can't produce with one season of little spending then he ain't as good as he thinks he is.
  6. What a shame. Perfect time to come and challenge everyone in the Premier.
  7. If United get Mourinho I do hope that simeone comes. Because I think he would love the challenge. Pep, Mourinho, Wenger, pochetino, klopp and what ever other manager that wants to come. Insane league that would be. I would love it if sampaoli and Bielsa comes as well. We will have top coaches managing in this league, would be amazingly hard. Ah one can only dream.
  8. I never expected anything from Kloop his first season to be fair. It's next season when I think he will shine.
  9. Can't win anything if you don't spend that is what Mourinho tells you and all his fans. Don't you know that was the reason we was one point above relegation zone? Because we didn't spend this summer.
  10. And no I don't want Raniere neither. Just get us a competent manager and we will be alright.
  11. Yeah but look who's winning the tittle? A team that has spend absolutely crap. Sometimes spending that much is not always equate to success.
  12. Wow come on Leicester. If they win we need to do then a favor and beat city when we play them. As well let Leicester beat us. If they are top this far just let them win the title. Going to be amazing.
  13. Well I wonder if he will have complete control or Woodward will still be in control? And Woodward has shown to be a bigger tool then what people blast emanolo for. ? Anyhow I also have no respect for their fans. They used to talk crap about Mourinho and his style and now they want him. Ridiculous and total fools.
  14. Yeah but I think we might go the way of Arsenal as Pochettino is talking. All due to the stadium expansion, and we really need it. We just need a manager that is good enough to work with a smaller budget (Well smaller budget relative to what United can spend as we ain't that poor) and can bring youth. Would love Simeone but he ain't coming so whoever comes hopefully he understand the mission. This should have been known to Mourinho when he first came. If he really needs big money to win then United would be great for him as they have bigger pockets then us. We need to be more controlled till we finish with our stadium.
  15. I don't know but to me I don't see neither Mourinho nor pep dominating the league for many years to come. This league is changing by leaps and bounds each season and all that thanks to the TV money that is so well distributed to everyone. Because of this situation every player and manager in the world will want to come here. And it doesn't have to be at Manchester but any team will do fine. Who would have thought Stoke getting the players they have gotten? And whats even worse for other leagues in the coming years, the "small" clubs will continue to raid and poach players from their respective clubs. Because the club will have good enough funds to build a good squad like Stoke is doing. And mark ain't the best manager out there. We will get more younger guys like pochetino coming in to challenge the established order. So yeah brace yourself because we are in for a fun ride. Just hope that Chelsea appoints a competent manager.
  16. Well yes you have a great point about a manager having total control of affairs. But to be fair Mourinho knew that when he came the second time. There's only two clubs he would get that. Arsenal and United. Outside of that no team is really giving much of that who are elite unless you take over Everton or something like that. That's the way things are at Chelsea because of our owner.
  17. True point, the age is the only reason why I always wanted to keep him. Hoping he would improve.
  18. Interesting you mentioned about falling behind Spurs, since they have not been spending much. And that's exactly the kind of manager we need, someone that can do good like Pochetinno and not someone like Mourinho that needs big money in order to be in top 4.....
  19. But it's the truth my friend. Mourinho is a genius in a short term but so far has proven to be a disaster after 3 seasons. You can't go back to back and do the same thing. Real Madrid he lose the players third season, Chelsea the third season. Something is not right and unless he take a nice time to think about certain things, he would have not learn anything. And after a couple of seasons he will go back to his same shenanigans.
  20. Chelsea rejected Oscar offer from China's Jiangsu Suning Chelsea rejected an offer of £58 million from Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning for Brazilian playmaker Oscar, the player's agent has confirmed to ESPN Brasil.http://www.espnfc.us/story/2801380/chelsea-rejected-jiangsu-suning-bid-for-oscar 58 million pounds and we turn it down?
  21. Yeah that was before they got the money for Martinez. So they have that money plus any extra. He's a goner this summer for sure.
  22. Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham face tough period because of stadium project • ‘Arsène Wenger said Arsenal’s toughest time was when they built stadium’ • ‘We need to arrive at new stadium in good condition to fight for everything’ http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/04/mauricio-pochettino-tottenham-hotspur-tough-stadium-project If this how it was for Arsenal and Pochettino is saying the same thing about Tottenham then we have to face it guys that it's happening to us as well. We have been cutting back and it's mainly because of the new stadium. In that case sacking Mourinho was the perfect thing to do because apparently that guy can't win if we don't spend. So if this being the case we definitely need managers like Pochettino and Wenger that are good at penny pinching and bringing youth. Because that will be us for the following years till the new stadium is up and running.
