West ham might be the team this year that does some noise. But that is what it is, noise. As all the teams tend to dissappear after the new year. Everton, Swansea, Southampton are a few of many name teams that have done this every year. Then there's of course the one season wonder players, cisse, Michu, Kane and such. So best to reserve judgment of the contenders till the end of December and by March we should have the defined article.

Hogwash we still have a better team then most. How about admitting that the league is much harder coinciding with how teams are so out of form at the beginning. And then you add if the club wants to bring youth.... You would hope! So we are still good.

Doubt it. I think Falcao might be our wild card. While we are all complaining about transfer and me about youth, I think we might end up surprise at the end of the season. We could easily win the double, treble or quadruple if we take Capital One Cup serious. But I have a funny feeling that Falcao will make the difference for us and make us forget these boring non transfer activity months.

according to @Tomo, this is not true since he gives youth a chance.... He will tell you how he gave sporadically games to Huth and other younger players in his time.... Giving a game to people like Kalas in one big game ain't that great if it's not back with sustain game time. Bertrand played an important game in CL final, but then what at Chelsea? So just because Mourinho gives a player a game here and there don't mean much to me or the impact of the player. Has to be a sustained timing like he has done with Oscar.

Well that's what I feel like it might happen. A season where we should have integrated youth but we don't. Instead we continue using the same lineup and fatiguing ourselves. And thus it will more then likely cost us. Then mourinho will get angry with the board, and then the board worried because Mourinho lack of youth involvement.... In the end a manager the wants to stay for a long time must take risks! If Mourinho indeed is here for just 3 to 4 years before he gets into a schism with the board/owner then he will not care much about youth integration.

Don't think people should blame the board about transfer. I think this season is when Mourinho most gamble on youth. Simple as that. If not we are not going to get anywhere.

Hence the reason I want to see him in the EPL weather it be City, United, Liverpool etc etc. I want to see what he is all about. If he is the real deal, or another of those players that do good in the Bundesliga and fail outside? And if he does make us regret it when at EPL then it will be good. As it would make us act more carefully next time.

I believe this is true but its's more like a combination of both. Because of wc and also because he didn't had the patience.
