This is true, but after SAF is gone United don't give full power to Moyes nor LVG. That is a thing of the past and the last remainder manager that has full control like that is Wenger. After he's gone I bet it will be the same thing as United right now. No manager in top teams will have that full control as these managers had/have.

For crying out loud, the performance was much better then anything I seen with Mourinho this season...bar that Porto game. You got to take into account we are very low in confidence and morale. And usually when we conceded we used to fall apart. Today was a first that after being down we bounced back and finish in a good note. If we can continue and build from that we might finish on a positive note then all gloom and doom.

I don't think he should stay past the summer. Is best if he leaves this summer with on high as I have a feeling he would do a good job in this spell again. I'm already seeing some improvement in the way we play, let that continue and in the new season appoint a new manager that would continue the work. Because at his age I don't think he has it to go another full season. And it's best to walk away when you done a good time then leave in shambles like Mourinho did. At least if Hiddink finish on a positive note this summer he would have that as a great memory. Because he has been one hella of a coach, and to have left into retirement the way he did with Netherlands was not pleasing.

If we can maintain must of our top players this summer plus add we should be good for next season. One season out of cl won't be the end of the world. We just need to get back into it next season. So we need to make sure we make the right buys this January and then next summer.

Good post. Don't know why people can't see this. We are in lack of confidence and today was an improvement. I also saw how good the mikel sub did to stabilize the midfield, it also allowed matic to move forward. I take today as a positive and hopefully we can build from here.

I actually thought the game was good and much improvement to before. We should have won this if it wasn't for the miss penalty but I definitely enjoyed the game. Much improvement to what we had before.

The will do good. They always do good when a manager is fired and you get a new manager. But that honey moon period only last for certain games, take a look at Liverpool this season. This is our honey moon period. That being said, I expect us to win.

I'll take Sampaoli. That's a more realistic target then Pep. But he will need time to adjust to Europe and to mention the language. This is why I said it would be better to get Bielsa for a season or two so he lay down his philosophy and then get this man to come and take over like he did at Chile.
