  1. Meh, I don't care much about Pep to City. I think at United would have been far worse since United got the bigger budget then all of us. Oh well we will move on. One thing is for sure, league continues to get better and better. And everyone in the league will love to give a game against City because of Pep being there. So might make it harder for them.
  2. Very sad news. I think he still good for another season.
  3. For games like today is why blue fox is right. It's good to have him for squad depth. As he can perform against crap team and that's what we need when playing FA cup and capital one.
  4. Be happy with his, much better then Mark, Raniere and Pellegrini. Is not Simeone but that guy ain't leaving his beloved Atletico for a while. So Conte is the second best choice out there as he has experience taking a team and making dominant once more. That is what we need, but without the drama that was brought by our previous manager.
  5. Yeah but dude you need to think before you say things like this. Think about our state. Do we have a permanent manager? What will be our philosophy of our new coach? In that sense it doesn't make sense to invest heavily when we don't know what our new manager wants. Is best to wait till the summer and right now buy potential then anything else.
  6. These are the kind of deals emanolo and company was doing before Mourinho. In which they got a lot of praise from me. Kdb, Courtois, lukaku and much more. Looks like we are going back to that mentality and I'm happy. Because it's better to buy these young players with potential. Might turn out like azpi or Courtois. You never know that's why you take the risk.
  7. Yes fickle fans, all teams got them. What's amazing is that Mourinho used to be applauded for this, his man management skills. But after two stints where the same thing happened, real Madrid and now Chelsea then the man has clearly lost it. It is good that the club sacked him and got hiddink in. We just need to play Fútbol and have less drama in our lives. And because of this hopefully hazard will be able to enjoy his Fútbol once more.
  8. Maybe we sign him for that? We need some excitement after this dreadful season. This really is a no risk gamble, so I'm not mad, especially when you got a guy that is so happy to be here. That excitement at times can bring a nicer atmosphere and we need more of this.
  9. That might help them win the title. I'm all for it.
  10. I think this is much better then pappy signing because this guy is young. I don't know nothing from him but I always like to see what a young can bring and the potential he can have.
  11. Don't understand the dislike for Conte. The guy helped turned juventus from the dull drooms. If we can't get other top targets he would be a great second choice. If he can do to us what he did for juventus then that will be a fine work.
  12. But stability? Does Real Madrid have stability? Barcelona? Bayern Munich? If you see most stint most time is 3 years. 3 years is the max most manager do before everything has to change.
  13. Ridicules! I think the guy has been doing a great job till Mourinho showed up. There is no way a team like that should have been above one point of relegation by December even if you bought no one in the summer. For me he should continue and go back to the job he was doing before Mourinho came. We had bought a lot of top young talents, so go back to your original plan before it was changed by Mourinho.
  14. What’s changed? Speaking after the game, Hiddink hinted towards the presence of Mikel and Matic. “He likes it when he can play and get the opportunity to play the creative part, and also with the boys who can recover balls as well,” Hiddink said of Fabregas. “He can play well if the balance is right.” Fabregas himself had no clear explanation, but the change sounded like it had touched upon mental aspects. “I’m feeling very sharp, I think my brain is much quicker than the last few months,” he said. “I struggled for a little bit, I don’t know why, but the sharpness is back. Under pressure I’m much more in control, I’m not shaky, I’m not under pressure, but my team-mates made it easier for me. In the last year, I think I’m in the best form now.” That much is clear. Over the last four games, he has averaged 77.25 passes, a figure more in line with that of last season. Most things indicate that he is close to returning to his best. And a Fabregas in form should be a wanted man indeed.
  15. Plan B. But it was a poorly plan b. I think this was mentioned before when he first came here. Many people didn't want to see it, and he was chosen only because of his past. His shadow was too large to let pass by many at the club. But after this season everything that once was is now undone. Which to me is much better as we no longer have to look back. Like any new manager coming in we won't say. "oh Mourinho would have done better" etc etc. Now it would be like as long you ain't as bad as what Mourinho did this season, be 1 point above relegation by December then you will be alright. And funnily as much as people make fun of Arsenal and Wenger, he has indeed set the standards for top teams. Top 4 is the minimum objective each season, not much the silverware because finishing top 4 is like trophy alright due to the CL bonus that you get.
  16. Definitely a good sell if we put a buy back, so not to have another KDB case.
  17. The Blue Kenyon that will go down in the memories of all Chelsea fans for that unforgettable night at Camp Nou many moons ago.
  18. Well not the best what we need but for a loan it's worth a shot.
  19. Well this comeback just shows that the team is still good. There's a fight in them and you just need to make some good buys in the summer. Also a good manager that will release the shackles, because Hiddink continues to be very conservative at times.
