Portsmouth too.

City :lol2: Sacked in the morning for Mancini?

45 games, that's an amazing amount of matches considering he only made his debut in the end of September and wasn't Di Matteo's first choice in the beginning of the season. Since October he hasn't missed many games and always plays 90 minutes too so it really is remarkable how good and consistent he's been in his first season. Along with Mata, Hazard and Luiz I'd say Azpilicueta has been one of our best players. An absolute steal at £7m and to think some people here preferred Maicon over him last year.
-
You also told us you're working at the time of the match and we never win a game when you are.
-
Absolutely not. No team should ever retire a number between one and eleven. Drogba's number wasn't retired either and Oscar has done well to honor his old shirt.
-
Fucking scum that lot. There's people who dislike John Terry and then there's these fucking idiots who actually get satisfaction seeing him down with a serious injury.
-
Benteke off! Now smash these cunts.
-
Not going to blame Ramires for that, stupid foul in the end but he had to work for two men as Lampard beside him did fuck all to help. Always the hard way for Chelsea, not surprised about this at all.
-
That was a dirty elbow from Benteke to Azpi, should have ben a red.
-
Cahill you're fucking shit, ever heard of closing down a player? Just watched on Wednesday when Adebayor scored and now did it again, fucking useless.

Do they now? I remember certain managers these guys got rid of when they didn't fancy playing said players anymore. Saying one thing and actually doing it are two very different things. It's easy to say you're willing to sit on the bench when you're still playing week in week out, but your real colors are revealed only when someone actually has the guts to bench you. Then there's the matter of wages. Are either of these players ready to accept a contract with smaller wages when their contribution isn't worth 175k a week anymore? If they really do want to stay at the club badly enough to accept less wages and a smaller role for a couple of more years, then it really is a no-brainer but we can't really know for sure what happens behind the scenes. We certainly know Ashley Cole didn't accept smaller wages but at least he is still very much a first team player and he accepted only a one year contract instead of the two he wanted. Something tells me neither JT or Lamps are willing to have anything less than their friend Ashley so that puts the club in a bad situation. Either be blackmailed by these few players into paying more than they're worth or face the wrath of the fans by getting rid of the legends. And before some of you reply by saying the club should just pay them what they want because they're legends and all, may I just remind what every other club have done with their long servants. They've either gotten them to accept a contract with modest wages to match their contribution (Scholes, Giggs for example) or released them. For the latter kind I could come up with countless of examples but the match is starting so I won't bother, you all get the point.

A draw won't do us much good so you're not helping, mate.
-
Daily Mail saying Galatasaray want Terry for £8m and are offering him 200k a week for three years.
-
So that makes it 13 goals in 26 league appereances for Salomon. Not bad, especially when considering he had a slow start to his Lille career. Nice to see him play well elsewhere.
-
Deal as good as done then, Ferguson is clearly one of these 'good friends' and a while back he seemed to think Jose's coming back. Only a matter of him being released from his contract at Real Madrid now.
-
True, I couldn't possibly know for sure but it's easy logic. Falcao already makes close to 150k a week at Atletico so he would be likely to get even more if his €60m transfer to Chelsea were to happen, right? Then there's Cavani, who plays for Napoli and gets paid a relatively modest wage compared to other players of his ability. A player like that would be much easier to convince to accept a deal of 150k a week if that would mean him earning multiple times the amount he currently is than a player who already earns that much.
-
Not really. Cavani would most likely have lower wages than Falcao so a slightly higher price, 63 million euros compared to the 55-60 Falcao would cost, is a non-issue if the club is really willing to spend that much on either of these players. Cavani's stats from his time at Napoli are immense and there's no doubting his quality. For the past three seasons he has been there he has averaged just over 25 league goals a season and overall he's scored 102 goals in 136 matches for Napoli. Also worth noting that Cavani is a very fit player, six seasons in a row now he has played 32-35 league matches so he's hardly ever injured. Considering a 29-year-old Robin van Persie with a history of injuries and only a year left on his contract went for nearly 30 million euros last season and has wages of 250k a week, then Cavani on 150k a week and roughly double the transfer fee isn't even that bad because for the length of the contract the cost would be pretty much the same and a player like Cavani would still have good resale value in three years whereas no one would spend a lot of money on a 32-year-old RvP. Buying the best talent in the world takes a lot of money and there's no changing that. If the club wants one of the best strikers around this summer, as in Cavani, Falcao, Lewandowski and maybe Rooney if the rumours of him wanting to leave are true, then with all expenses taken into account they would all cost roughly the same with the exception of Lewandowski who would be cheaper but I really don't think we stand a chance of getting him. Cavani and Falcao are the most realistic options for us but they're also the most expensive ones so it all comes down to the club and how badly do they want to buy one of these players.
-
Gündogan or Lewandowksi in exchange, otherwise Dortmund can fuck off.
-
It was hardly a problem with his fitness back then. 10/11 was the season he was caught shagging that prostitute behind his wife's back and his bad performances had more to do with that than his fitness, also he requested for a transfer and for a while didn't really give a fuck about playing. After everything was sorted out, he returned back to his best and scored the 27 goals the season after. This year his relatively poor goal tally is a result of both problems with Ferguson, which were never really settled in that 10/11 season, and the acquisition of Robin Van Persie who was their main man as far as goalscoring was concerned. Now, if someone says Rooney isn't wanted because of all the off the pitch drama and general cuntishness, I accept that but never say he's a shit player because that's just being ignorant.

Recently I heard Pereira's contract at Porto is expiring after this season and hasn't renewed it so he could be leaving, especially if Porto don't win the title. Slaven Bilic a good shout, did okay for Croatia but hasn't really impressed at Lokomotiv Moscow. Should at least be on Everton's radar. Hope they don't fall for one of those mediocre British manager like most English teams do.
-
Never thought about it that way but I guess it makes sense.
-
Martinez is shit, even Steve Bruce did a better job at Wigan. Martinez' Wigan always play well near the end of the season and therefore is always the flavour of the month when teams start looking for a new manager. Vitor Pereira from Porto to Everton, heard it here first.
-
Baines probably too.
