Piers Morgan @piersmorgan 3m Sir Alex quitting is the nearest thing to a trophy Arsenal have won in 8 years. :lol2:
-
Also PSG, should Ancelotti leave them for Real Madrid.
-
Time to show exactly how much he loves this club, or wheter it was all just fancy words when it looked like no other club in England would take him.
-
If it would mean him being nailed on to be the next manager after Ferguson retires, he could think it's worth it. No way he's getting a top managerial job in England after this season so his options would pretty much be to either sign a new contract at Everton or accept a good assistant role at Manchester United for two years tops and then taking over as number one. Just hope they don't suddenly try to hijack Mourinho.
-
Fergie can fuck off for all I care and if anything I would very much like it if he retired, but not now if it would cost us Mourinho. They way Jose has always been licking Ferguson's ass and the timing of this all makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

What a cross from Wigan goalkeeper Joel in the end, a shame the header wasn't as good.
-
Because he wanted to join PSG. And if he hadn't, he would have ended up at either Juventus or Milan.
-
Just ignore him. Like good old Ser Bronn once so elegantly stated:
-
Hope West Brom win today, would give us an outside chance to get to the second place.
-
Fantastic news, though I will stick with my previous opinion and say he shouldn't play again this season. Maybe he could play a part in the Man City friendlies or the last game of the season againt Everton if everything is settled by then but definitely not in tomorrow's game or the Europa League final.

Benitez: "You know that the next year it will be another manager here. I think everybody knows who"
-
He's just begging to be sacked, nothing more to it. If he is fired, he will receive a hefty compensation but if he leaves willingly, he gets nothing.

I was there when Marko Marin scored a goal, maybe I should get that printed on a t-shirt.
-
Something like that, yeah.
-
If Mourinho indeed does return, I believe it would be Marco Materazzi who Jose prefers as his assistant.
-
A good centre-back for his age but isn't this guy a bit prone to injuries?
-
Can't see Romeu playing again this season, the games are just too important to risk playing a half fit player and for Oriol's sake it's no point risking his recovery when the season is so close to being over. As can be seen from the pictures, he has returned to light training so he should definitely be back to full fitness by pre-season.

Holy shit, what have they been smoking there at Warrior? Surely no one in their right mind would wear those two horrible shirts in public? Or is it a plan to get the opponents to laugh themselves to death and then win the game? If that's the case, I seriously believe next year could finally be Liverpool's year.

Good news for us as Benfica just drew at home against Estoril, narrowing the gap between them and Porto to only two points. Three days before the Europa League final they play each other in a match that virtually seals the title so now they really have to go for the win instead of even thinking about resting players for Amsterdam. Portuguese league is a weird one, there's only a couple of rounds left and both Benfica and Porto are still unbeaten in the league. Imagine if they draw next week and neither lose their last game, one of them would end the season unbeaten and still not win the title.
-
Thanks for this, I really needed a proper laugh right now.
-
Maybe Mourinho's opinion about Schürrle has already been asked? Schürrle strucks me as a player Mourinho would probably love to work with, a versatile and skillful player who works hard for the team.
-
Hope he leaves the Premier League, can't stand him scoring against us.
-
Marin has been as good as gone for months now, never fit enough nor good enough to even get a proper chance and Benitez sure isn't going to play him now when there's so much at stake. Doesn't matter though, I'm sure there's still someone willing to pay around five million for Marin given his reputation and the relatively low wages guarantee interest from slightly smaller clubs as well so there's no chance we're going to be stuck with him like we have with the likes of Benayoun. And yes, one could assume that the imminent arrival of Schürrle would mean less playing time for Moses. However, there's no way Mata, Hazard and Oscar are capable of playing another season like this one and therefore they're going to need much more rest next season so there's still plenty of games for everyone. De Bruyne could easily fit in too if the new manager decides to bring him back, which most of us of course are hoping for.

Kicker, the leading sports magazine in Germany. They're basically saying he has agreed terms with Chelsea but nothing has been decided yet as the clubs are still negotiating the fee and the possibility of De Bruyne going to Leverkusen on loan. And if KdB doesn't go there, I'd assume Leverkusen will start searching for potential replacements for Schürrle before finally confirming the deal. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/585811/artikel_schuerrle-hat-unterschrieben---und-jetzt.html
