Movement, absolutely top-notch. No matter how good a player's finishing is, he will rarely score if he always finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time or stands still like Torres. That wasn't so hard now, was it? Tell me, what does your beard look like?

I could of course nominate you but I'm still bitter for the fact you ignored my request for a name change a while back but changed all the others.

Clothes maybe a bit too hipster but @The Skipper is one handsome looking fella, no homo.

Welcome and congrats to Juventus, well deserved back to back league titles for you guys now!
-
Courtois has just been awarded the prestigious Zamora trophy, given to the best goalkeeper in La Liga.

Had my seasonal bets close but Malaga are fucking me over. Had 30€ on Juve, PSG, Bayern, Ajax, Porto all to win league titles and then Malaga to finish top four in the La Liga but after UEFA banned them from the Champions League for next season they haven't really given a fuck and now they're sixth behind the likes of Real fucking Sociedad. Would have won 2000 euros or something if the Spanish fuckers had done their job. Congratulations, that's a lot of money!

If you mean his short stint at Real Madrid, then no. It's okay to be ambitious and take your chances at the very highest level if the opportunity comes but for a player like Falcao who surely is good enough to start for any club on earth to join a newly promoted club like Monaco is a lame move and the majority of neutrals will be very disappointed to never see Falcao play for one of the best teams in the world and take part in the Champions League. If he goes to Monaco, there's no coming back. Even if he changed his mind, no one would want to buy him for 50m anymore and his wages will be too high for anyone. Teams like Monaco should just stick to buying players who would be sure to improve their team but ones whose careers at the very top are soon coming to an end. Players like Samuel Eto'o for example. And I know a certain Fernando Torres, maybe Monaco would pay 25m for him too.

Are we gonna have someone bump this thread every time he scores a goal for a midtable side like Liverpool?
-
Plenty of fish in the sea, not too bothered about this. A shame for football's sake though, never nice to see one of the best players in the world waste their career with a silly move.

Not every year all top 3 teams change managers at the same time, next season is definitely going to be interesting.

You should visit here in winter time, the sun rarely rises at all and when it does, it sets at around 2pm. Depressing as fuck, let me tell you.

It's almost 6:30 and I can't sleep.

Oscar is definitely faster than people think, more so than Özil that's for sure. Also he's way more fit than Özil, a player who can't keep up anymore after 70 minutes of play. Oscar has played 90 games in the past year for club and country and still he comes up with good performances all the time, I'm sure a manager like Mourinho will appreciate that. And really, what has pace got to do with anything? Just because he has had pacy players at his disposal at Madrid doesn't mean he can't play anything else. Remind me again, who were these fast and direct players at Inter? I can only think of Samuel Eto'o, the rest not so much.

Demba Ba just tweeted that.
-
Why wouldn't he play them together? Hasn't had a problem playing Ronaldo - Özil - Di Maria there at Real Madrid so why would he have a problem playing Hazard - Mata - Oscar? And personally I couldn't care less where some player plays as long as he's effective in the position he plays in. For exampe if Mourinho were to play Mata on the right wing, much like he has played Özil if I'm not mistaken, and Mata was still able to contribute as well as he is now then I really don't see the issue.

Jorge Jesus on his knees crying, there aren't many better things in football than that.

A dramatic injury time winner for Porto and they're champions, as long as they don't slip up next week against some shit team. Guess it's good news for us, now Benfica's mentality is crushed ahead of the final.
-
Bullshit, just shows you know how to use Photoshop.
-
Hard to decide whether or not I want Benfica to win today. Them winning would seal them the title and they could still be a little hungover for the final but it could also mean them playing more relaxed after winning one trophy already. Porto winning could either depress them or drive them on to do better on Wednesday. A draw it is, then. Would it be wrong to hope for a couple of minor knocks to Benifca players to even things up as we lost Eden today?
-
True, but Azpilicueta on the other hand isn't that good attacking wise. We already had Ivanovic who is good defensively so getting a proper attacking full-back like Piszczek would've been a good choice too. Looking back, I am still delighted to have gotten Azpilicueta for such a bargain price. If he doesn't get homesick or anything, we have the right-back position settled for the next 8-10 years.
-
Looking good. A draw and we're at 73 points, which is the maximum Arsenal can achieve if they win both of their remaining games. Basically that means that if we draw against Everton, Arsenal need to win both games with a goal difference of at least 5 goals total to get ahead of us. They're facing Wigan and Newcastle, both teams who are fighting against relegation so it won't be easy for them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Wigan get a massive boost from today's FA Cup win and even win against Arsenal on Tuesday.
-
Piszczek is class, maybe even better than Azpilcueta at the moment but 4 years older too so in the future Cesar will probably be the better of the two. Would have been a good signing none the less. Can't say the same for Maicon who has clearly been past it ever since winning the treble in 2010 or Van der Wiel who has never been good. How many games has Maicon played for City this season? Honestly I can't remember many and the times I've seen him play he has been one of their worst players. More expensive than Azpilicueta and massive wages too, would have been one of the worst pieces of business the club has done since Torres if we had gotten him last year.
-
Just a reminder, Benfica's title deciding match against Porto starts in 45 minutes. Strong lineup for them: Artur, Maxi Pereira, Luisao, Garay, Matic, Perez, Almeida, Salvio, Gaitan, Ola John, Lima
-
@piersmorgan: Please tell me we don't have to give Wigan a guard of honour too? Our players may as well sign up for the Marines.

Luiz against Basel.
