Sell Torres for £15m, are you high?

Figured as much. Thought the push notifications would be a nice feature to have even if I continued to use the forum the old fashioned way via browser, only to find out that the iPad version of Tapatalk doesn't even support push notifications yet. Glad I decided to try the not-so-legal version first instead of buying the app for 4,5 euros.

Seems to be working on the iPad. I doubt I'll be using it much though as I find the browser version to be just as good as using the forum on a PC but a cool feature nonetheless if anyone else fancies it.

Malouda? You must be talking about Beanyoun, although the whole team was so anonymous yesterday Malouda could easily have been on the pitch for the first time since Munich and nobody would've noticed.

Second leg next week.

Mata coming on shortly, Chelsea really are a Juan man team at the moment.

Haha, you and me both.

Yay, it worked. I had money on Arsenal to win and of course they bottled it when my money was at stake. Could have really used the cash right about now but I'll happily take this too.
-
50€ on Arsenal to win. Like @Ollie, I'd be happy with a Spurs win or a draw because it would be better for Chelsea but I'd happily take the return of 160 euros as well so it's pretty much a win-win.
-
I could take a Spurs win or a draw today but Arsenal winning would be bad. As no result ever goes our way, we should all just do the sensible thing and put our money on Arsenal. edit: I just took one for the team by placing a bet of 50 euros on Arsenal to win.

A Chelsea fan who prefers watching Real Madrid and Barcelona ahead of his own team and then goes on to say that one of our best players today was shit? Are you for real?
-
Ramires was immense, surprised no one else has suggested him for man of the match.
-
On the bench today for WBA some lad who was born in 1997. Fuck, I'm starting to feel old and I'm only 21.
-
Peace, no doubt about it.

How much money have you bet on this yourself? If you're so certain, it should be an easy way to double your money with 5/4 odds.

Just think about it, how cool would it be to have an interim interim manager.

I laughed at Rafa complaining about 'interim' title and the lack of respect that comes with the word. That respect has to be earned through hard work. Good man management skills quickly get you the respect of the players and not insulting the fans goes a long way too as far as the supporters' trust in the manager is concerned. Hiddink and Di Matteo didn't do too badly during their periods as interim managers, so maybe Benitez should look in the mirror every once in a while and find some faults in himself too and not just blame everyone else for his problems. I would honestly take Avram Grant back for the rest of the season, anyone other than Benitez would be a step in the right direction. I know there aren't many options out there but at this point I would take literally anyone, at least it would remove all the hostile atmosphere around the club and the players started giving a fuck again when they wouldn't have to work with a clueless idiot like Rafael Benitez any more.

Now that Cole was given the new contract I don't see much sense in buying Shaw this summer, unless he were to be loaned back to Southampton for another season and then return in 2014 when Ash most likely leaves the club. That being said, I really rate this guy and would be over the moon if we were to sign him for a reasonable fee before our rivals step up the chase for his signature but I can't see a place for him in our squad for next season as Cole still plays most games and Bertrand is more than good enough to cover for him.

As KingB pointed out, Lukaku can't play but what I was implying is that losses against WBA ended up being last league games of both AVB and RDM. If we lose, one can only hope Benitez suffers the same fate.

Mikel doesn't defend? Now I've seen it all.

Look on the bright side people. We're facing West Bromwich in our next league fixture, if you know what I mean. :eyebrows:

We don't know what the Abramovich and the board think of Torres, they may have lost faith just the same as us but what can they do in the middle of a season? Sacking a manager is a much simpler decision because he can be replaced at any time and the club don't have to worry about whether or not he can find another job after failing at Chelsea but getting rid of an expensive flop of a player is more difficult as he can only be sold during a transfer window and some other has to be interested in investing in the player. As much as me and a bunch of other guys said it in the summer that Torres is past it and going into the season with him as our main man was always going to end in tears, I still understand the club's decision because the money invested in him was so massive and if there was even a slightest of chance that Torres would 'be back to his best' with our new creative players behind him and him as the number one striker it was a risk they simply had to take. Now even they can't deny that Fernando is finished and no matter who we bring in to help him our other strikers Ba and Lukaku can still do the job better than him so paying this flop £175k a week isn't worth it. When even our fans boo him at our home games you know it has reached the point of no return. Anyway, back to Lukaku. I'm so glad he can't play against us this weekend, WBA will be without their most influential striker and I doubt they will recall Odemwingie for that game either. Not too worried about Shane Long playing as their lone striker.

Are you fucking kidding me, every fucking time a late winner when the current scoreline would benefit us.
