  1. Lewandowski on a free transfer next year has got to be one of the best transfers ever, especially when acquired from a direct title rival which at the same time improves their own team and weakens the other. Amazing business from Bayern's point of view but a shame for the whole Bundesliga when one team is already so superior to the others and then they go on to buy two of the biggest stars from their number one rival. How about getting Marco Reus top while they're at it just to complete the hat-trick? Lewandowski acting a proper cunt here. He had his pick of all the top teams in Europe but he declines them all in favour of joining Bayern Munchen and is so desperate to join them he's willing to wait a year to get his preferred move. A low blow to everyone at Dortmund and especially to Jürgen Klopp who made him the player he is now. It's sad there's no loyalty in world football these days.
  2. Fuck that, PSG can have the overpriced Cavani for all I care but I would be absolutely gutted if De Rossi went there too. This is a deal the Chelsea board simply cannot afford to lose out on. If De Rossi is available for peanuts at a time when our team desperately needs a player like him, he simply has to be bought.
  3. €70m Being reported by the reliable Gianluca DiMarzio so there's a good chance it might be true. Guess at Napoli fan was right after all.
  4. One of the worst bullshit rumours of the window so far but having read the reactions to this on Twitter and in here, I started thinking if getting him would really be that bad? He's definitely a world class player and in the end of the day that's all that matters. Sure, he's a cunt of the highest order and sometimes unprofessional but so is Rooney and most of us would welcome him to the club. Let's face it, he hasn't really played under a proper world class manager yet and the likes of Brendan Rodgers don't dare criticize him if he does something stupid because he's by far their best player but under Mourinho's guidance this guy could mature into one of the very best if he managed to leave out all the nasty shit he has a habit for. Definitely not on top of my wishlist for the CF position, probably not even in the top5 picks, but I wouldn't complain if we got him.
  5. Great signing. Personally I expect him to have a significant role, I don't think he would have joined otherwise. I like this new Chelsea. Only two years ago our squad had probably the highest average age among Europe's top clubs but now we've got a brilliant young squad. Feruz (16), Kalas (17), Piazon (17), Wallace (18), Lukaku (18), T. Hazard (19), Omeruo (19), Courtois (19), Romeu (19), De Bruyne (20), Oscar (20), Van Ginkel (20), E. Hazard (21), Moses (21), Azpilicueta (22), Schürrle (22), Mata (23), Luiz (23), Marin (23) All our young signing since 2011, inside the brackets their age at the time of the signing. Only Torres, Meireles and Demba Ba have been players older than 23 when they were signed. On top of that all that the homegrown talent (Chalobah, Ake etc.) and the future is looking very bright for the club, even if we stopped making any more big signing in the next couple of years, be it because of FFP or a new club policy or something else entirely.
  6. Ignoring the price tag, I'd take Cavani over Rooney every day of the week. He's a bit younger and in my opinion he has been the better player these last few years. Oh, and he's not a massive cunt who'd come with extra baggage like Rooney would. However, when considering the fact Cavani would cost twice as much I'd say getting Rooney makes more sense if he really is available for just £20-25m. Sure, he had a relatively bad season by his standards but he wasn't by any means shit and if there's anyone who can set the guy straight it's Mourinho and I believe he could easily get back to his very best if played primarily as a striker instead of an attacking midfielder or a winger like he has played at Manchester United under Ferguson. Both wonderful players and I really wouldn't mind getting either of them.
  7. @Andre_Schuerrle: I love this stadium:)) #london #cfc The guy doesn't hide his excitement in joining the club and it really is a dream come true for him. He's wanted this transfer over any other club for a couple of years now and we can expect him to be very motiated to play for the shirt now that he's finally here. Don't know about you guys but I'm starting to like this lad more and more every day!
  8. Arsenal have signed Yaya Sanogo. Looks like Wenger's been busy this summer playing Football Manager.
  9. So he was bad for Spain yesterday, who cares? He's clearly not a key player for them and even when he gets to play he's nowhere near the focal point of their attack so I can see why he struggles there. Have some people already forgotten how Mata has been our best player for two years straight and has carried the team on his back game after game? What more we could possibly have asked for? While I somewhat agree that Mata isn't irreplaceable with the likes of Hazard, Oscar and De Bruyne at the club, it would still be beyond moronic to sell him. The idea is to improve the squad over a transfer window, not get rid of the team's best players. This fucking off-season...
  10. Brazil well deserved champions. Looks like Scolari's been watching Barcelona v Bayern in the CL this season, Brazil have known exactly how to counter Spain's strengths much like Bayern did to Barca. Luiz has been a beast tonight.
  11. Fair enough, not familiar with the relations between club presidents but overall Sevilla's management and the fans are very bitter and unhappy about the unfair tv money distribution and as a result their club has been punished by automatically giving Sevilla the shittiest kick-off times in the league, basically a lot of Monday night and Sunday noon games. So if I was a member of the Sevilla board, I'd prefer selling the player abroad instead of strengthening the already way too good Real Madrid side, making the league even more unbalanced. Of course the player has to have a say in the transfer and I accept the fact he probably prefers Real Madrid over us but just a little speculation because I'm bored to death on a train.
  12. Who said anything about a trade deal?Sevilla have been (rightfully imo) moaning about La Liga's infamous TV deal and if they had the chance to affect where Kondogbia ends up at, I'm quite certain they would sell fuck all to Real Madrid, a club who together with Barcelona are making life hell for all the other teams in the country. Just take off the white tinted glasses for a while and think about it. If you were in the boots of the Sevilla board and had to decide between selling one of your most valued assets to one of these: a foreign club who have just done you a favor by loaning you a good player for free, a neutral foreign club like Arsenal and finally Real Madrid, a domestic rival who will fuck you over at any given chance. Who would you sell the player to? Don't get me wrong, I agree that Marin being loaned out to Sevilla probably has nothing to do with Kondogbia's transfer directly but it sure has sweetened the negotiations if / when Chelsea really go after this guy.
  13. How about no?Why should we believe you on the price when we have quotes from your beloved ADL that the price is a firm 63m, nothing more and nothing less? Whoever buys Cavani have absolutely fuck all to do with whatever Napoli have negotiated with Palermo. It's simple really, pay 63m to ADL's bank account, negotiate a contract with the player and sign the papers. Where do Palermo fit in there? That's right, they don't, and after the transfer has gone through it is then up to Napoli to pay from the fucking 63m whatever stakes the player's former clubs still had in the guy. You go on about this not being documented but aside from some shady internet link you can't come up with anything concrete either and as far as 99,999% of the world are concerned the price is whatever the Napoli president says it is and at the moment that's 63m. Rant over.
  14. Good keeper but way too expensive for a backup and other than a pay rise a move wouldn't make much sense for the player himself either. He's only 26 and last season made his way to the national team setup but at Chelsea he'd never be anything more than a backup with Cech undisputed number one now and Courtois who's already much better than him at a younger age waiting on the sidelines. Just get someone over the age of 30 on a maximum fee of around £3m, preferably a free transfer of course if someone like that could be found. Someone like Schwarzer, Enyeama or maybe even Jääskeläinen if he'd be willing to join as a backup.
  15. Words can't even begin to describe how much I want this guy to be a Chelsea player next season. I've been on the bandwagon from the start and his performances at the Confederations Cup sure haven't changed my mind. Maybe he had an average season at Roma and some people there think he's past it but whenever he plays for Italy he's the best player in the world for that role, no doubt about it. If his bad form for AS Roma mean he's now available for cheap, we should do everything in our power to sign him. If there's someone who can get the 'national team De Rossi' out of the lad for club football again as well it's Jose Mourinho. For just €10-15m DDR could easily be the signing of the season.
  16. Where the hell is this €70m talk coming from? Never before have I seen such logic applied to transfer dealings, it's always either a percentage of the total fee paid (a maximum of €63m) or a percentage of the profit the club have made on the player (Napoli paid €17m for Cavani). Don't you guys think someone in the media would have picked up on it if the fee was in fact €70m?
  17. As far as you were concerned Real Madrid weren't going to get rid of Nuri Sahin and weren't after Modric to replace him. How did that work out exactly? Punto Pelota, your "reliable" source for the Cavani news claimed for months that Falcao to Chelsea was a done deal. Enough said.
  18. How long till the Madrid media start hounding him out, before or after Christmas? Anyway, good luck Carlo!
  19. So basically the source 'confirming' the deal is Napoli's version of our very own Chris Cohen who's been going on about the deal being done a while now. And here I was thinking something concrete had actually happened.
  20. Saw this guy at the U17 World Cup two years ago and he caught my eye. After that I haven't seen him play but judging by reports he was very good last season despite being only 18 and he was a regular the season before as well. Defenders rarely play this much at such an early age but this guy is a beast physically. Always nice to get these young players, especially if they're good enough to make an immediate impact, but is Zouma better than Omeruo who is already in our ranks? Sure, Omeruo could be sent on loan to a PL team next season if we got Zouma and then recalled when Terry goes or retires but if we're tight on money I'd say no to signing Zouma because he'd only be a luxury signing and not someone who's absolutely needed. If the money is there to be spent, then I'm all for signing this beast.
  21. He didn't say anything though, the comments were fake. Could of course still leave but I for one would be very surprised if he did.
  22. Delighted if we sign this guy. Haven't seen much of him other than the U21 matches a couple of weeks ago but he was good there, much better than Strootman who has been on the radars of a bunch of top clubs for a while now. Anything below 10m is a fantastic deal. In addition to MvG we only need another DM (DDR first choice, Kondogbia second) and we're set in midfield.
  23. No news of a contract extension then? Wasn't he supposed to sign a new contract at Chelsea before going back to Atletico on loan? Without an extension this loan isn't good because after next season he only has two years left in the contract he signed back in 2011.
