135 USD for the season, 50 USD for three months or 19 USD per month. Here's what they're broadcasting across 10 channels: American MLS Argentinean Primera División Brazilian Série A Copa Sudamericana Dutch Eredivisie English Championship (inc 3pm Saturday) English FA Cup English League Cup English Premier League (inc 3pm Saturday) Euro's French Ligue 1 German Cup International Friendlies (inc England Games) Italian Cup (Copa Italia) Italian Serie A Mexican Primera División Russian Premier League Scottish Premier League Spanish Copa Del Rey Spanish Primera División Swiss Super League UEFA Champion's League UEFA Europa Cup World Club Championships World Cup Qualifiers Not bad if everything works according to plans but so far I've only watched the Chelsea - Inter game and can't say much yet.

Looks good and reasonably priced too but I decided to go with Al Jazeera after they announced they'll be updating most of their channels to HD quality (+4Mbs bitrate) before the new season starts. Four games simultaneously would be much better than Al Jazeera's one at a time but I guess having so many more competitions in addition to the Premier League such as the Champions League and the English cup competitions edges it for me. But thanks for the advice anyway, will definitely try that one if Al Jazeera doesn't live up to expectations but so far it's been decent.

So? Hazard, Mata, Oscar, De Bruyne and Schürrle will most likely always be ahead of him no matter which of the three positions behind the striker and we might even have Rooney coming in before the window closes and he would provide even more options for the attacking midfielder department (while of course playing the majority of games up front). That would make Moses somewhere between sixth and seventh choice and even with heavy rotation there wouldn't be that much games available for him to play and for a player like that £9m is a lot of money if the board decided that the money could be spent more wisely on someone else, namely a midfielder. Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind Moses staying as a squad player but he really isn't that much needed either so whichever option the board and Mourinho decide to go with I'll be happy. That being said, he had an amazing game last night. More of the same and he'll definitely give Mourinho a nice little problem of deciding who to play with so many good options available but if he stays he really needs to be more consistent. He can have a blinder one day and in the next game makes a half-arsed Benayoun look like Messi.

Van Ginkel the obvious choice for man of the match, he was everywhere! Moses close second though. I've reserved my judgement thus far regarding Essien because to be honest the opponents in the Asia tour were a joke but last night was his first match against a half decent opposition and he still looked amazing. He could still be a great asset to the team if he stays fit and based on his performances in pre-season I want him to stay and fight for his place in the team. Been going on about wanting to sell him but I promise I'll be the first to eat the humble pie if he stays and plays even half as good as he once used to! Not saying he's back to his best or anything because we have to be realistic and accept the fact it's not happening but even a bad Essien can still be a useful player and due to his versatility an important part of the squad.

The Lukaku bashing has started already? Jesus Christ, some people.

What a goal, great build-up too.

£22m for Diego Costa would be the stupidest transfer seal since Andy Carroll for £35m. It seems Liverpool will stop at nothing to replace Suarez in every aspect, Diego Costa is a cunt of the highest order and also like Suarez been accused of racism (by Kondogbia).

Turnbull, read a few pages back.

Just been informed that my amazing Premier League package consisting of 5 HD channels for only €50 annually has come to an end and from the upcoming season onwards the cunts are expecting me to pay €30 monthly for only two channels with shit coverage and probably only half of the Chelsea matches live due to the other clubs, namely Manchester United and Liverpool, being more popular in this country. Of course unlike the one I used to have this new package also includes some other football leagues which I don't watch regularly as well as other sports like ice hockey but I'm not interested in them and don't wish to pay for something I don't need. Which brings me to my question: is there some provider that offers a paid online subscription with good Premier League coverage? Doesn't matter if they're geoblocked or anything because I have a global VPN service which can get me through such restrictions but needs to be online only because obviously I can't subscribe to something that needs an address at said country. Was looking at Al Jazeera the other day and their coverage is amazing and the price is only $50 for the whole season but I have my doubts regarding the quality of their services. They have a free-to-air channel available and the quality there was horrible. Having gotten used to proper HD quality I really wouldn't want to pay for something that irritates me everytime I watch a game. They have HD channels there at Al Jazeera too but I can't try any of them because they need the subscription and I wouldn't want to subscribe before knowing the quality of the services they're offering. Is there anyone with experience of Al Jazeera Sport online or does anyone know some other service providers that I could look at?

Me too, although I would prefer Luiz Gustavo ahead of both and he looks to be available from Bayern who are stacked in miefield too. And obviously my first choice De Rossi but that deal looks dead in the water. Like hell they do. The only one who rated Khedira in Madrid was Mourinho and I can see them getting rid of him now that Jose is gone. The local media absolutely hate Khedira and a lot of their fans are easily brainwashed my Marca etc. to think he's shit. He's actually a pretty good DM in my opinion, I just don't want to see him at Chelsea.

A loan deal for Jonathan dos Santos was on the cards when Tito Vilanova was still at Barcelona but now their new manager Gerardo Martino has said he wants to keep him and Real Sociedad have supposedly then turned to McEachran as the alternative. The Chelsea board need to wait and see whether Martino really wants to keep JdS or just see the player train under him before making the decision because Real Sociedad could still get him in the transfer window if Barcelona decided to loan him out after all and it could potentially be Swansea all over again if they got both him and Josh and one of them were to sit on the bench most of the time.
-
A loan deal? I've always thought the La Liga would be the best fit for McEachran because there he could focus on improving his playmaking abilities instead of having to worry about the physical side of his game too much as that can be done later when he's more ready in other aspects. Real Sociedad have just lost their key midfielder Asier Illarramendi to Real Madrid and there could be an opening in the starting lineup but I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on their team because I really haven't watched them that much and I don't know for sure how good their other midfielders and and what kind of football their new manager prefers. No point sending Josh on another Swansea-like loan where he's stuck on the bench but if they promised him regular first team football it could be a perfect opportunity for him to take the next step in his career because they really are a quality team and there is even the possibility of playing in the Champions League too if they can get through the qualifiers.

This year will be my year, remember the name you fuckers. Two matches for Chelsea in the opening round, nice. Tempted to go with Lukaku, Hazard and De Bruyne.
-
Just visited Bluemoon to see what they think of the title race this season. Apparently Mourinho back at Chelsea can only end in tears and here's what they had to say about our attacking midfielder department: Can't wait for Kevin De Bruyne to take these fuckers by surprise.

You misunderstood me. The reason I didn't even mention Lukaku in my post is because for me it's obvious he should be the number two striker if Rooney comes and number one if we don't get anyone new. I was merely comparing our misfiring strkers Ba and Torres because some people still believe Torres will come good while the same people think Ba is nowhere near good enough and should be gotten rid of immediately. From these two guys it shouldn't even be a contest and for the life of me I can't understand why anyone could still prefer Torres to Ba. If we get Rooney, we'd have him and Lukaku as our two main forwards and probably one of Torres/Ba as a third one because I honestly can't see us getting rid of both our strikers from last season. Not by any means was I suggesting we should stick with Ba through thick and thin like we have with a certain £50m Spaniard but as a second / third choice striker I would much rather have Ba than Torres if at all possible.
-
So basically Benitez used all the Cavani money and more on three Real Madrid rejects Higuain, Albiol and Callejon? I'm so glad we didn't have to go through a summer transfer window with that guy in charge of the transfers.
-
Fantastic news if true. I feared for the worst when I saw him down on the ground holding his knee.
-
He scored six. Mind you that's six times more than Torres scored in his first six months as a Chelsea player. Then there's also Anelka who only scored two goals in 24 games after arriving in the January window but went on to be the whole PL's top goalscorer in the following season. It's not always so black and white as you seem to think, players are human beings too and adapting to a new city and a new club in the middle of a season can be hard and we shouldn't judge them so harshly before their first full season at the club. Like I said a few days ago Ba deserves at least a year to prove his worth but if we get Wayne Rooney, I would understand if the club made the tough decision of selling Ba and keeping Torres. Not because Torres deserves fuck all but because he's pretty much unmovable and it really wouldn't be wise for the club to send him training with the reserves while keeping Ba in the squad if the alternative was to sell Demba for a decent amount of money and keeping the ladyboy as a third choice striker. Keeping them both but only using Ba would cost the club £250k a week but keeping just Torres would get the club somewhere around £10m in transfer fee and also £80k of that amount off the wage bill. Hving said that, I think selling Ba should only be a last resort if the club fail in selling or loaning out Torres.
-
Isn't Chalobah's contract expiring next year or has he already renewed? If not, his contract has to be extended as soon as possible.
-
A reliable Italia journo Gianluca Di Marzio is saying Napoli are thinking about bidding for Demba Ba as a replacement for Cavani. Personally I think it's bullshit because Napoli seem to be after Higuain or Damiao but I suppose they could be after Demba if they fail to get either of them. If we get Rooney, someone has to go. Personally I would be gutted to see Ba leave after so little time but Lukaku has rightfully claimed a place in the squad and Torres is nearly impossible to sell so I'm afraid that wouldn't leave the club with many options. Ba deserves a chance too but if it was up to having either him or Rooney, it really is no contest.

No they didn't, that would be the Indonesia XI which we're facing next Thursday.

Been there, done that, didn't work. Streams were very laggy and unwatchable despite the fact I have a 24Mb mobile connection on my tablet. Thanks for the advice anyway! Usually I use the Splashtop remote control app to watch any kind of streams on the iPad because they're running on my PC and only mirrored remotely to the screen of the tablet but I forgot to leave my computer on when leaving home so no luck there. Just found something called iSwifter browser which seems to be a lot faster than Puffin but I only have a free trial or something and I don't know how long that will last. Hopefully long enough for me to watch the game!
-
Probably won't be able to watch this one unless I can somehow get a stream working on my iPad.

£40m is way too much as Rooney is on ridiculous wages already at Manchester United and won't settle for less if he moves. Getting him for that price would mean an overall investment of more than £100m over the length of the contract. £30m is the highest I would go to. If United won't sell for that, we should just tell them to go fuck themselves and then go back in with another £30m bid on deadline day when their options would be to either accept £30m and get the unhappy player off their wage bill or keep him and lose another £12m paying wages for a player who doesn't want to play for the club anymore and not to mention them having to sell for a cut-price next summer anyway with Rooney's contract expiring in 2015. I'm quite sure they will sell him for a reasonable price, we just need to call their bluff and not go in guns blazing and offering them everything they could possibly ask for.

Apparently his cancer has relapsed again after only a few months since he was given the all-clear. Sad news, really puts things into perspective.
