Not sure if you just insulted my country for it's usually shit weather (not that I'd give a flying fuck if you did, I hate it myself) or if you really know that August is usually the most pleasant month around here. Anyway, being an adult and all there's plenty of stuff to do even when the weather is bad, you'll learn that in a few years.

Sure, I may have called them that once or twice in the heat of a moment on this forum but never directly to a Barcelona fan because that's just trying to provoke a reaction and in order to have a proper discussion that's not the way to go. For example, if we're drawn against Barcelona at some point and one of their fans comes here to discuss the tie with us, I see no reason to start calling them Uefalona or anything but if he comes here just to wind us up I see no problem with calling him and his club names. What you and bushman have done is abuse @JayC from the very beginning just because of the club he supports and that's just being childish. Anyway, now I'm really out of here. I don't have all day to argue with you guys, there's much better ways to spend a lovely Thursday evening.

What facts? To me your babbling is just as deluded as any other conspiracy theorist nutjob saying the American government was behind the WTC attacks and whatnot. We don't have to be unbiased but we don't have to be utterly disrespectful either, there's a difference.
-
Again with the fucking manures. What are you, 12 years old? And I agree that at the end of the day it's up to the admins to deal with this stuff, but I for one like having a couple of sensible opposition supporters around here to mix things up a little. That won't happen if people like you and NishC300 keep driving them away with your insults. I have a feeling the admins are with me on this, it's bad for the general image of this forum if a lot people get the feeling this board is full of uncivlized cunts. But don't take my word for it, let's wait for one of the admins to speak out on the matter. In the meantime, I'm out. No point arguing with you any further because it's clear you've made up your minds and can't be reasoned with.
-
@NishC300, it's funny you should ignore the main point of my post... You call @JayC's club corrupt cheaters who can't win titles fairly and you expect him to just suck it up and move on without insulting yourself or the club you support in return? And when he replies by saying something witty you start whining like a little bitch because he won't agree with you that Manchester United are corrupt. For example, if he insulted Chelsea by saying the usual opposition fan insults about the club not being anything without the corrupt oil money stolen from the people of Russia and that our fans are nothing but gloryhunting cunts, would you be calm about it or respond in a similarly distasteful manner? Don't bother responding because I already know your answer and there's nothing wrong with defending your club when some biased idiot starts to insult it. That's exactly what JayC has done and he has every right to do that. I despise that club and would love it if they fell into mediocrity now that Ferguson's retired but that doesn't mean we should insult one of their fans when he comes here to discuss football in a civilized manner.
-
Yeah, you just said his team is shit and they only keep winning titles because there's a conspiracy. Every chance you get you bring up this conspiracy, like in the Hull match thread for example where you just out of the blue brought up Manchester United by saying they have appointed John Moss as the referee for the match. To me that's more of an obsession than a healthy rivalry between two great clubs. You do all this and you honestly expect him not to have a go at you? On top of all that you and bushman keep calling his team "Manure". How fucking childish is that?
-
You do know there's a massive difference between kissing their ass and acknowledging the fact they're one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world? Even if some of the people on here firmly believe their time at the top has come to an end now that Ferguson's gone it doesn't mean they're suddenly shit or anything. People love to joke about it but does anyone honestly believe there's some sort of FA conspiracy to help United succeed? A lot of their favourable refereeing decisions and whatnot was up to Ferguson and his brilliant ability of manipulating people through the media but it's not like they paid the refs or anything and no matter how many people with Manchester United backgrounds they have in the FA board won't change that. @JayC has come here in a relatively peaceful manner to discuss football so why do you and bushman have to be so fucking hostile towards him? Being a United fan, he's hardly going to agree with us on many things regarding Chelsea and/or Manchester United but he is entitled to his opinion and we have to respect that. You are only trying to provoke a reaction out of him by slating his opinions and calling his favorite club with some childish nicknames and then you take the role of a victim when he calls you a cunt or something.
-
Looks like Moyes is already feeling the pressure that comes with such a big job, time will tell whether he can handle it or not.
-
All four Chelsea players start for Belgium, nice.
-
So he's going to make a statement about his future after the internationals? As much as I'd like this transfer to happen, I bet he's just going to say he's happy to stay at Roma and that he never even considered leaving and all the usual stuff.
-
They may have let a couple of players go below their release clauses every now and again but in the last decade or so the vast majority of their star players have gone for insane amounts, even if they had initially signed said players for peanuts. In this window alone Porto have already made a massive amount of money by selling Moutinho and Rodriguez to Monaco so they are in a position where they don't have to sell anyone unless someone decides to pay over the odds. That, and the fact their president Pinto da Costa already hates Chelsea after the club appointed AVB against his will means they will sell us fuck all if we don't splash the cash and pay the full clause. But yeah, this discussion is not exactly concerning David Luiz anymore so it might be better suited for the general transfer talk thread if you still have something to say.

Who said anything about Ajax? Read my post again and this time with a little more concentration. I was talking about the 31-year-old Brazilian central defender Alex who used to play for Chelsea before being dumped to PSG by Villas-Boas and replaced by Gary Cahill. Alex has constantly been ahead of Mamadou Sakho in the PSG pecking order but he couldn't get a game at Chelsea, says it all really. Eliaquim Mangala and Jan Vertonghen, you serious? There's absolutely no way Spurs would ever sell their best defender to a rival club whatever the price, especially after already letting go of Steven Caulker in this transfer window. One of the best centrebacks in the Premier League, if not the whole world, but definitely not a realistic replacement for Luiz considering the club he plays for. And then there's Mangala who is also a great player and could even be within our grasp but knowing Porto he'd cost the full €40m release clause and at this point in the window it's just not worth it. Even if Barcelona paid over the odds (over €50m) for Luiz, we'd still end up overpaying for the replacement and no matter who he'd be our team wouldn't be as good as it is now and we would hardly have any money left from selling Luiz. The replacement would come in to a new club with the season already under way and it could potentially take a long time for him to fully adapt so even if we considered him to be as good a player as Luiz is our season would still be hurt by the sale of one of our finest players. In my opinion the club shouldn't even consider selling Luiz unless he acted a cunt and submitted an official transfer request, which I really can't see him doing.
-
Sakho is also behind the Chelsea reject Alex, what's his excuse for that? And the reason they splashed out €35m for Marquinhos in the first place was because Sakho, who was once their club captain, had fallen out of favour due to the cuntish attitude and bad performances on the pitch. Not even half the player David Luiz is so if Sakho's the only one available to replace him should the transfer to Barcelona happen we're fucked, simple as that.
-
Heat of the moment and all that. He also criticized Jose there but their relationship couldn't be better after their time together at Inter so who are we to think otherwise? Less than three months down the road and not a single official match yet and some people have already forgotten all the 'In Jose we trust' talk.
-
There's a reason for that...
-
Very much agree. And like I already said previously, his crazy money contract at Anzhi is coming to an end in less than a year anyway so we could easily match it by dividing his current wages over a two year contract. By my calculations his €350k a week till June 30th 2014 contract is currently valued at approximately €16m so that divided by two years would get the player somewhere around £140k a week till 2015. He would probably be more than happy to accept it in order to make his return to top level football and the club's wage structure would remain intact. He could be willing to take accept even lower wages if he's desperate to work with Mourinho once again. It's not like Drogba is on 400k a week at Galatasaray either, he wanted to get his career back on track while he still had the chance so he ditched his mega money contract at Shanghai Shenhua to join Galatasaray on a relatively low contract by his standards. If the club fail in signing Wayne Rooney, I couldn't think of a better alternative at the moment than Samuel Eto'o.
-
He's scored 36 goals in 71 appearances for Anzhi and also has 14 assists. In the league he has 25 goals in 51 games so his stats are quite good no matter how we look at them. He's definitely not the player he was in 2008-2011 when he was arguably one of the best strikers in the world but I don't believe for a second that Jose and the board would even entertain the idea of signing him if he wasn't good anymore. It's not like the Russian Premier Division is like the Chinese league where players go only to make a shitload of money and no one knows what goes on in there, the football there is actually pretty high level and there's good coverage around the world so I'm sure the scouts and management know what their investing the club's money into if they decide to go for Eto'o.
-
Should he be available on a free transfer with a two year contract on £100-150k a week in wages we could do a lot worse than him.
-
Tancredi Palmeri strikes again. This time I want to believe him, I really do.
-
Well, in 2008 he placed third in the Ballon d'Or voting behind Ronaldo and Messi so I'd say yes. Of course scoring the winning goal in Euro2008 final affected that but at the time he was an amazing player for both Liverpool and Spain so it was more than reasonable that he was nominated for the award.
-
So let me get this straight, you were as good (or should I say rated) as Isco and Zlatan combined and yet never made it to be a professional? Even if you wouldn't have been snapped up by one of the EPL or Bundesliga clubs, there are literally over a dozen leagues in Europe alone where you could have become a millionaire and earned more money than you ever could by starting this youth development thingy but you decided to turn that down by your own choice? Bullshit.
-
That guy was talking about drilling, not dribbling.
-
Nope, United beat us at Wembley in 2010 and went on to win the 10/11 league title. The last two have finished the season trophyless though, let's hope it stays the same this season too!
-
I agree. He has supposedly been 'on the brink of handing in the transfer request' for weeks now but nothing has happened. If he really wants to go, he should let everyone know like Suarez has done or just shut the fuck up and apologize to the United fans.
-
I don't see any reason why he wouldn't. Mata isn't fit enough, Schürrle ain't as effective on the right wing as KdB is and Moses hasn't really been as impressive as you seem to think. Not saying he hasn't been good because he was definitely one of our best players against Inter and AC Milan but he has had bad games too just like everyone else. De Bruyne was very good in Asia tour before his injury and he made a strong comeback in the Milan match. Against Roma and Real Madrid he could have been better but the same goes for all of our other players too. My preferred lineup: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Van Ginkel, Ramires, De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard, Lukaku.
