	Sick performance by David

Well obviously the sun is too bright, they can't see the goal or anything beyond their noses.
-
I know right Should have started playing footie when I was 5, joined the academy and then I could have helped them out.

Just tuned in. The new shirts look almost as ugly as the scoreline.

We finished 2nd, that's literally just 1 place below champions. If that was "catastrophic", then how would you categorize Jose's title defence?

You know, I am actually glad he hasn't been sacked mid-season. It's a clear change of mentality from the club, he would have been sacked months ago some years prior. We have been crying out for the board to show patience with underachieving managers for some time, and they have done so with both Jose and Antonio. Jose of course was sacked, but there was no alternative, he was held on longer than we all thought he would be after being shit from the start. The reason may of course be monetary, but still, I like the way the club are putting more faith into managers now while more and more stories are popping up of them holding players accountable for failures, which they hadn't done before. Whatever happened this seaseon happened, but I will still remember him fondly. He wasn't faultless of course, but the ultimate blame lies with the board's transfer strategy and I've been saying this from the start of the season, that if we do fail the penny drops at the board. Conte's first season here was exciting and refreshing - it rejuvenated my love for watching Chelsea when I'd become sick and tired of it from the shitcreek season before. I simply cannot hate the guy and I'm glad we had him, but the failure this season was mutual.

Kante won POTY, so they gave PPOTY to someone else. What's all the fuss about? If fellow chels rate him this much, then I'm happy for him.

Maybe our next manager plays 2 forwards? Morata in a supporting striker role could be something else than Morata the lone striker. He doesn't seem to be the type to lead an attack. A lone striker needs to be a ruthless badass not swayed by tiniest contacts, and more importantly a ruthless finisher. He is neither. In lone striker role I prefer Giroud anyway, this much 2018 has proved.

	Don Balon is hilarious.
-
Harsh on Crespo. Falcao or Pizarro would have been more appropriate names to throw in there.
-
We've all been there mate, saying stupid shit in the heat of the moment. We are driven by emotions sadly.
-
What the fuck did I just read? You want Chelsea to lose a cup to a rival, Mourinho of all people, just out of spite for our manager. That's just petty.

Wait, what happened to Tibo? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

This is a thing I've liked about him from day one - his enthusiasm and happiness. He may run around like a headless chicken at times, but I can never fault his attitude.

Another win under his captaincy after reclaiming his place in the team. Not a single loss and defence looks more solid than it has all season. Well done Gary for stepping up in a crucial time!
-
Haha, thought I was the only one who cracked up on this

Getting Martial wouldn't necessarily improve us, but giving them Willian would definitely improve United as they are desperate for a RW. Martial is also like a wildcard, he seems to sulk a lot and may not fulfill his potential with us either. Wouldn't mind him here, but I don't like the idea of fixing Utd's pressing needs by giving them our players.

Despite an underwhelming season overall, I would give him at least one more season for sure. It has been full of challenges for him. In the beginning he showed promising signs, he fell off after his injury and probably had to play through pain for some time. The atmosphere in the team was really bad also for a long time, it surely affected him and everybody else. Let him have a full summer with us, let him start on a clean slate without all those missed sitters haunting him in the back of his head. We shouldn't make the mistake of discarding clearly talented players after a short period, we should have learned that from the past. Besides, what are we gonna do if we sell him? It means we would need to sign yet another striker unless the club wants to go forward with Giroud and Batshuayi. I simply cannot trust the club to pull off a good signing, a better one than Morata at least. Who'd be available anyway? Maybe Belotti, Icardi or Benzema. I say leave our strikers alone, we have a good set on our hands already. We need to focus on fixing our midfield, that should be priority nr. 1.

Bailey's contract runs until 2022, clubs will have seen us pay 35-40m for Drinkayoko and will make no discounts for actual players. Not going for under 50m and we sure as hell are not going to pay that.
-
Dare to say he got the tactics spot on against pool? They couldn't get a sniff, and stopping Salah these days is like stopping Messi himself. One of the grittiest performances of this season, well organized and drawn up to win.
-
True. Not a single post praising Conte either. if it was Mourinho it would have been another masterclass™.
-
Meh, couldn't give two shits about some bs ratings. We have the best midfielder, they just jelly.
-
To me he looks like one of the strongest characters in our squad. Maybe it's his intimidating face? But still, he plays, talks and looks like a bad mofo who will steamroll anybody in his way. I have liked him since his first appearance. If we go back to 2 CBs then I want him to be a mainstay at first, think he's got what it takes.

Hazard, Bailey, Martial in the same team is porn - not realistic, but fun to fantasize about. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
