  2. You got off easy, I am Hillary Clinton. Why would I compare myself to a woman? Well, that's up for debate
  3. Yeah, that's how reasonable men do during elections Transferred into real life: Hillary Clinton's face is hideous Barack Obama is Kenyan Mitt Romney has "Mitt" in his name Don't think Schwarzenegger really cares about being the president That leaves George W. Bush. Good speaker innit. Yeah, I'll vote for him.
  4. How do you know he is desperate to stay in order to suck out as much money as he can? Bogarde's case was clear, but how is Essien's? I can't believe he's actually being compared to Bogarde, the man who played 11 games in 4 years for Chelsea and didn't hide the fact that he was killing his career for money.
  5. Hmm... Razak Pimpong, Ze Kalanga, Fung a Wing, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and of course Mark De Man Because I care about my people
  6. How so? How is he acting like a leech? Should he terminate his contract or ask for transfer? I don't quite understand.
  7. Why does he even mention Hazard? Still bitter I see...
  8. @laura90, it's probably an automatic translation? I'd rather learn French. But thanks anyway, I might read it if I find the strength.
  9. So the ones who voted for you are stray votes? *off to spam inboxes* Short summary of my campaign platform: I support gay marriage I WILL lower taxes Free school lunch No more wars for a month I will sign Falcao Free healthcare (capr..)
  10. Too bad it's in French, would have been an excellent read I imagine.
  11. Unlucky for the rest of us to be on the poll with God But anyway, Jim would be a worthy winner no doubt. The introduction of marked quotations and mentioning is one of the best add ons to date. There is one major reason why I didn't vote for him, is because I consider this a poster of the month voting despite it being called member of the month. Sure God takes care of his people and this world, but he's a bit quiet. And yeah, I finally made the shortlist Surprisingly it wasn't even a month where I was bidding to be in contention, and yet here I am. I guess unexpected things will happen when you don't think about them. It feels like great recognition itself to be in it, even if I don't win it. Thank you to everyone who has nominated and voted for me.
  12. Are you suggesting he stank like a putrid fart?
  13. Doubt he's going to sign in the middle of the olympics
  14. I see there's some British-Oceanian agenda going on here. The first one to be kicked out in favour of your colonizer is the dirty foreigner Disappointed in you too @
  15. Were those penalties justified? I can't remember. If they were, then we can't complain.
  16. wow cap, you really are a gynecologist aren't you?
  17. Curses I even restricted myself yesterday from drinking my last beer and eating my chips crums in anticipation of today's game. Might as well watch it then.

  20. Chelsea, May 2012, FA Cup. It's a good topic to discuss. I think you can add Mata to the spine already, his intrumental debut season engraved him as the pinnacle of the team for years to come, he's 24 and visibly at the start of his peak curve on his development parabola. Plus you have to take into consideration the nature of each position. For example central defenders generally hit their peaks later than wingers or strikers. I think Terry is still enjoying the best part of his career that started around 27 years of age, he'd just scored his record amount of goals and had many stellar performances in defence (aside from the crap high line period), best player for England too. Same can be said of Cole, although not as quick as before. He's still somewhere around his peak, but on a downward curve. But in general I agree. The players, who are supposed to be at their best age, are either not good enough or too few. The players who I think are enjoying their best or are close to it, are Mata, Terry, Cole, Ivanovic, Ramires. Seen too little of Cahill to evaluate, but by the looks of it, he's getting there. Luiz is not there yet, needs a year or two to be considered in that group. Same with Mikel. Note I left out Torres, I did it on purpose, because he's shown very little so far to indicate that he's not past his peak... Strikers are also the ones who can be early bloomers and thus early burners, especially those who depend on their pace. So, the numbers are few, but they are important part of the team, all likely to be regular participants. Note that we are lacking attacking players at their peak, or experience in that area in general. But we got plenty of hunger there. Same with central midfield, we either lack quality there, have players past their best before or have inexperienced young uns... there's no inbetween. Saying that we are building for the future is dangerously close to the route that Arsenal have been down for the past 7 years. Their lack of spine is key to their detriment. But the thing with Arsenal is that they did it too quickly, they disassembled their perfectly balanced team and replaced with a totally new one. We aren't doing that and by the looks of it we won't be.
  21. ^ Look at how Lamps planted that nr. 14 on his ass like it was nothing. That's why they can't beat us.
  22. We've let 2 attacking players go with possibly 2 yet to departure (Malouda and Lukaku) and we've signed 3 attacking players. We don't have too many options now and we've made only 2 big signings so far. If we kept Benayoun, Malouda and De Bruyne, then that would be overkill, yes, but I don't think we will.
